Oh goodie, another ridiculously expensive masterpiece figure!

Can't wait to find out what Artfire's extended profile says about himself.

I think out of the whole set I'm looking forward to the Targetmaster the most

anyone with both Grapple and Inferno able to recognize which parts are used from each? Is this head new or one of those alternate heads reused? Thanks in advance!

Identical to Inferno but with Grapple's shoulder disks.

To better resemble the original toy, basically. Inferno is made to, of course, better resemble his show model; so he doesn't have the shoulder discs his original toy (and hence Artfire) had.

That's one nice-looking Nightstick.

Interesting that the pre-applied decals almost exactly match those made by Reprolabels/Toyhax for Masterpiece Inferno. I wonder if Takara did that purely as a nod to the G1 toy or if they are trying to undercut Toyhax...

I'm really excited for the figure. First time experiencing the mold. Hopefully, when we get a Masterpiece Cyclonus, Nightstick is included.

Nope. Only three Autobots and three Decepticons were Targetmasters in that show (Blanker, Crosshairs, Sureshot, Triggerhappy, Misfire, and Slugslinger) and only as a result of a freak accident.

Well I just paid for Artfire, I'll have to wait until early June apparently for God Bomber then I'll ship them both.

TFsource got their stock in. Ordered mine so he should ship out early next week. Will photograph him when I get the package, open him, and have the service to post stuff in like 2 and a half weeks

Just FYI, I was hawking Amiami to see if they would have anymore inventory after they had filled their pre-orders. As of right now Artfire is still listed as "Add To Cart" i.e. in stock for 11270 JPY. Which as of right now is $102.08 USD before shipping.

I hemed and hawed and wished and washed until all the pre-orders were gone. Glad it worked out. Really excited for this guy. I bundled him to ship with MP-Primal so I'll have to wait until the end of the month for his release, but excited none the less.

It will be a masterful haul!

Was wondering if and when you'd pick up on of the three. Looking forward to reading your thoughts about it!

alright, time to gush a little bit. But only a littttttttle bit....

Ok. so I got Artfire, opened him and Nightstick up, and hot damn sweet Mary mother of the almighty hell's bells crackalacka. This figure is perfect. Like, he beats MP SG Prime out as favorite masterpiece. this figure is absolutely gorgeous and beautiful and oh man oh man oh man.

there may be many more pictures later, I am not sure, but there will be a few after my thoughts here at least.

His alt mode is gorgeous. The colored parts all phase together perfectly and the red, white, and black work so well together! the truck mode overall is gorgeous and has some really nice details and features despite the more cartoony look. the chrome is gorgeous, he rolls wonderfully, and I love how nightstick can use the ladder as a fireman partner.

Artfire's robot mode is sweet as well. The figure is so well proportioned and the articulation is great. He looks so good! everything feels right and where it needs to be, there is no kibble whatsoever, and he feels solid and heavy. And he has proven so far super fun to pose and play with.

Nightstick is a neat little dude and he is wonderful too. the robot mode is gorgeous and so articulated for a targetmaster, and the weapon mode is sweet! I love how they made this work.

And for both, the transformation is super fun and satisfying. One is fairly quick, another takes a bit more time, but both are an absolute achievement. the ladder magic is real, and I'm glad I got to witness it for myself.

Overall, both are amazing and I love the set. It is a great masterpiece and definitely the ultimate version of this mold. He is wonderful, and you should go get yours now. Do it.

If Artfire were a headmaster, there would certainly be room for him

For those that have it, how loose is the barrel on Nightstick in gun mode? Mine is very loose and doesn't really hold in place.

Mine will hold in place fine.

The fig is so anime simple ( aside from the lack of those shin protrusions from his shins in the Diaclone ) that it is sooooooooooooooo PERFECT!

Heck I never heard any complaints of MP Soundwave being so anime simple (his nogin is F. Dery version) except for the prerequisite bellyache about his "big" feet.

Makes you wonder if those complainers ever really purchased the fig in the first place.

Haven't had much time with him yet, but my gut reaction to handling him/first transformation....
Best MP figure since I got my first Datson in the form of Silverstreak.

More thoughts and clarification on that when I've had more time to digest.
