The first venture into the world of Titan Masters and Legends class from the Titans Return line has been shared through a number of posts recently (including the Taiwan hands-on event). Thanks to fellow fan Masterandy, we also have a very nice pictorial review of Titan Master Crashbash, in all its tiny, adorable, purple forms with the beast vehicle equipment included in the package. Check out the mirrored images below, and head here for the full set of photos!

Kurona is right, you can tell from the comparison picture between generations Arcana and crash bash (wait wasn't that the name of a crash bandicoot game?). The new titan masters are much smaller to be compatible fully. I bet it wouldn't take much movement for that head to come loose.

I like crash bash, his vehicle/Dino form/ gun looks really fun to play with. I still love the way the titan master forms the lower jaw and arms of the Dino. Wonder if clobber will come with a repainted version...

That little Crash bash is very adorable. I'll probably skip over him and wait for Clobber, but that is a nice little mold :MAXIMAL:

While i am very excited to own a bunch of titan masters, I think I will wait as well for Clobber. It a more fun head to toss around on bots and I wontbe getting 2 of each triple changer (unless prices drop like crazy again).

I wonder... how easy would it be to swap actual faces around on these things? I've decided to repurpose this guy as Vos, but Apeface has a far more appropriate, er, face. It *looks* like it might be a simple matter of undoing a single screw, so maaaybe? (if not, it's not like I was going to buy a larger figure to go all "wear my faaace" on anyways...)

Yeah, I don't really want to get every titanmaster, just maybe 1 of each mold with the head I really like, such as Nightbeat, Siren, Clobber, etc. Now if Brawn comes out in a legends class toy, as rumored, I would skip his titanmaster and see what else uses it. Or, depending on price, I may just jump on the Brawn titanmaster anyway :MAXIMAL:

The rumour of a legends brawn is from 3 years ago. That is an old rumour now and it is probably an abandoned project. People got confused with that rumour when a new rumour said that Brawn would be part of Titans Return. Everyone assumed it was the Legends class that was rumoured 3 years ago. But its not, its the titan master. Downshift clarified this to us in this thread a few months ago. When it comes to Brawn in Titans Return, what we are getting is the head. Any other rumour aside from that is 3 years old and has yet to happen.

The "weapon mode" is weak, but whatever, I wouldn't be buying this figure for the weapon mode anyway. It's worth buying for the other modes and headmaster.

No Will D-max is right, there's a rumor of a legends class brawn coming out in this line.

Can you please show me a link to it, I really think this is a case of people confusing things and I would recomend no one to get their hopes up.

Edit: If any of you are referring to what is said here http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ore/34811/ , the Bawn referred ended up being a titan master. That was confirmed by Downshift here after the rumour went up viewtopic.php?f=4&t=105496&p=1769215&hilit=brawn#p1769215

Brawn coming out as a legends was debunked, the person who initially wrote to us was confused by the terms to use for the smaller figures.

That's why popping ball joints should be done sparingly and carefully... or not at all if it can be helped. ;)

On the subject of redecos/pretools, in the second wave we already have two: Clobber aka Grimlock from Crashbash and Skytread aka Flywheels from Terri-Bull. That has me thinking: the vehicles fit the pretools more than the original releases (Dino/dragon for Clobber, jet/tank for Skytread). Think we can predict Titan Master pretools by their vehicles?

Lessee...
Apeface is Apeface.
Nightbeat is a drill-tank/jet; maybe Twintwist/Topspin?
Image
Loudmouth is a hovercar/tank; hovercar could fit a lot of bots, dunno about the rather distinctive tank
Image
Brawn (in the back) is a... a... a thingy. Treaded car maybe, and auhhhhh.... train? bike? sword? bra?
Image
That upside-down :BOT: doesn't help...
Image
Seriously, what is it?
Well whatever, the armored... car seems Brawn-esque as it is.

I believe so yes. They are going to be around Prime minicon prices in stores.

And I know, I can't wait for these guys too! We're in that void between lines where months go by with nothing new, so this is very anticipated here! :MAXIMAL:

While 5$ is the MSRP, stores may charge more, like BBTS which charges a 40% premium.

Well the average right now is that new waves come out every 3 months. So if you get it early in that three month window, then for sure it will take a whil to get the next one. I got my combaticons barely a month ago, so I am not as antsy about new stuff, especialyl since CW Wave 2 2016 should be coming out any time now.

Well technically you ARE exercising if you are going to Target AND TRU. Get those steps in!!

My local TRU finally has the Combaticon deluxes, the "G1" deluxes (Ironhide/Prowl/Sunstreaker/other bot I can't remember), but only Motormaster and Battle Core voyagers. I accidentally walked passed the Transformers section multiple times at Target, as they had 3 pegs of combined RiD/CW :(

I did luck out there. So far that's the only place I found him for a decent price and I really got lucky since they had just restocked. And that was a month and a half ago, wow... :MAXIMAL:

Well the average right now is that new waves come out every 3 months. So if you get it early in that three month window, then for sure it will take a whil to get the next one. I got my combaticons barely a month ago, so I am not as antsy about new stuff, especialyl since CW Wave 2 2016 should be coming out any time now.

Distribution has been very wonky in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The Combaticon limbs were out for a short while right around the end of December and beginning of January. Then they quickly dried up and were replaced with the Sky Reign Autobot limbs, which have quickly saturated the shelves. Meanwhile, it took until March for any Onslaughts to pop up, and now you can't find the deluxe Combaticons anywhere. I had to order Onslaught from TFSource after finding the Combaticon deluxes around Xmas. I only ever spotted Sky Lynx ONCE in the wild at my local Target, and it wasn't even on the shelf! Luckily, a friendly employee there who knows me saw it and put Sky Lynx aside, figuring I'd be in that day to check out the Transformers stock. They didn't even have Sky Lynx entered in their system yet. The manager decided to price it at $17.99. Nice deal! :)

;)^ Great story! And yeah that disribution is all over the place in schedulign then. But thats why I just called it an average. 4 waves, 12 months, should be every 3 months but that seems to be askign too much ;)

Here in Northwestern Ohio, U.S.A., where I live, Transformers distribution is really strange. Take CW, for example, where the only figures on shelves right now are the Optimus Maximus and Combaticon limbs, the waves 1 & 3 Legends, Voyagers Silverbolt, Motormaster, and (not)Scattorshot, and Leader Armada Megatron. I hope distribution isn't as strange with Titans Return. I'm personally exited for Galvatron and Scourge, mainly because I already have CW Cyclonus. For those who are saying "get Universe 2.0 Cyclonus and the older Generations Scourge, they're a 1,000,000 times better," I don't feel like going on EBay for an older figure when I already have a recent figure of one of those characters and a new figure of the other one is coming out soon. I also don't want the Platinum set. Oh, and Universe 2.0 Galvatron sucks.

I hear you. But I would still get Universe Cyclonus only because unlike the others you mention, its his own unique mold. And plus, he would be in scale with the new TR Scourge and hes not that expensive. Or else you end up with a voyager Galvatron, a voyager Cyclonus and a deluxe Scourge. Dont know how you might feel about it.

Also, if you care, those exact figures are being rereleased this year so no need of going on e-bay if you dont want to:

You do as you wish, but I did want you to know what all your options were in case you cared.

I don't really care about scale at all. I am fully aware of the Platinum set, but I can't really afford Platinum sets and that one just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Edit: I also kinda like the idea of Galvatron and Cyclonus being taller than Scourge. I don't know why.

I already have a CW Cyclonus. I was just saying why I decided to keep my CW Cyclonus instead of getting a Universe 2.0 Cyclonus and that I am going to be displaying him with Titans Return Galvatron and Scourge.

Yeah, he would scale well with TR Galvatron, not so sure about Scourge

Actually, according to the Sunbow Generation 1 cartoon models, Scourge IS quite a bit shorter than Galvatron and Cyclonus. Cyclonus is actually the tallest of the trio, believe it or not. A deluxe sized Scourge is pretty much in scale with CW/UW Cyclonus and TR/TG Galvatron. :)

Image

There are larger versions of this chart out there, but this will have to suffice for now. Scourge, Cyclonus, and Galvatron are the last three on the four row down, directly to the left of Trypticon.

Another chart also shows this same size relationship. This time, Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourge are on the bottom row to the right of Predaking (but not directly next to him).
