One-Step Thunderhoof doesn't deserve to be within a 10 mile radius of FE Optimus Prime.

P.S: Happy 5555th post to me! I'd get totally wasted if I weren't underaged.

I feel that I'd like more of these figures if they didn't have stupid heads.

Especially when theres no reason for it, it would be one thing if they accidentally scanned an animal while they were scanning a vehicle but thats not the case. Also dont like how all the cons are stereotypical bad guys, seems like they're just going through the motions with this show.

You guys say that but I know that you X have a (KO) LeoKaiser. And that guy was all about animal heads and names who have normal vehicles, making this a very G1 concept (also very Japanese since we never got him here). Liokaiser is one of the most sought after G1 toys of all time and his entire shtick is what you people seem to call dumb. Do you guys think it looks dumb on Liokaiser too and would you thus not buy him if he were rereleased?

The LioKaiser bots were really animal shaped helmets that surrounded normal human like robot faces. My guess LioKaisers head was a voltron homage, another robot with an animal helmet that surrounded a human like robot face.

RID is totally different. The Decepticons dont have animal helmets with normal human like robot faces. Instead, they have complete animal heads which feature dog snouts, crab eyes, and now deer antlers. Im sorry, thats just plain stupid. Just my opinion though. They have no reason to have animal heads. They turn into cars.

:-? Think HasTak needs to keep making these TF toys aimed at younger kids more different for each newer TF toy line. As kids and parents will buy less if they see too many similar looking TF toys in stores.

See nothing wrong with these beastial looking robots that turn into vehicles for the RID2015 toy line.

Adults are not the targeted consumer for these RID2015 toys. As long as kids like them and buy them. Then HasTak created a good toy line for kids.

Don't think Adults fans have anything to complain about and could easily skip on buying the RID2015 toys. As Hastak is creating Masterpieces, Generations and CW toys for adults fans.

Think some adults fans need to learn how to share the TF brand with the younger kids. Also remember that you don't need to buy everything.

Maybe they were all robotic animals on Cybertron, who adopted a vehicle mode on Earth. This guy was an animal, before being put into this body:

With a name like that, I would have hoped we'd have gotten something like that gold Animated Grimlock that was going to be released but never came.

:-? Thinking it's possible that HasTak was trying to pay tribute to some of the Transtech and Web Diver art or toys with these Rid2015 Decepticons toys. that all feature Beastial elements on the robots and vehicles forms.

Calling the Second year toys of Transformers Prime by the name, Beast Hunters. Was a tribute. To the canceled name for the 2000 Transformers toy line and cartoon. That received the name, Beast Machines instead of Beast Hunters.

As alien robots they have equally as little reason to have recognizable humanoid heads at all. It's all aesthetic convention that has no basis on what alien robots that change shape willy nilly would actually look like and everything to do with traditional human ideas and our strong tendency towards anthropomorphising everything we create. Animalistic heads are no more or less logical than human heads or mono eyes or a fucking just lump of random radomes.

I am growing more worried about the upcoming Ultra Megatronus. The game models actually give you a really accurate look at the figures and how different they are from one class to the next. Unlike the Legion and Warrior figure, the Ultra figure is very broad to the point that he looks overweight with a tiny head. Also, the transformation seems to be very simple since the game model has the tank cannon (pretty much entire top of the tank) on his back like Animated Shockwave and Armada Megatron.

The only hollowed part of Underbite is his inner legs, which is not too apparent. Plus, his gimmick is fun, AND he scale perfectly well in a Cyberverse scale battle!

It does when I was speaking of Fixit in relation to only his teammates rather than the entire selection of toys as a whole. Otherwise, I wouldn't have specified "McAutobot".

Have to agree with the animal head thing. Hated it in Beast Wars too though as a character I loved Silver bolt.

I'm sick of the stylised transformers of recent years whether it's the no nose bots from Prime, the cartoony Animated show and the messes that are Bay formers with their hair and buck teeth.

Don't get me wrong I've each series fire what they are but I still don't like the move from the G1/Unicron trilogy aesthetic.

Thing is, guys, most of these Decepticons aren't ordinary Cybertronians. They're different species from the regular ones. Underbite's a Chompazoid. Hammerstrike's a Sharkticon. Chop Shop's likely an Insecticon (the show only calls him a Combiner). Terrashock's a Buffaloid. Filch is a Corvicon (confirmed in a book). Minitron is a Cyber-tick. Springload is an Amphiboid. Malodor and his crew are Skunkticons. Etc. etc.

Most of them are essentially Cybertronian fauna who have ascended beyond their status as animals, but each took a path that landed them all in stasis cells and being shipped offworld as convicts.

To be fair, the Well of All Sparks did also make a whole host of species when it first populated Cybertron way back in the Age of Evolution, with the Predacons being the last species to emerge from it at the end of its first creation run.

I wouldn't see why, they only stay unlocked for a day... Probably a request from Hasbro, or simply keeping it safe
