Very happy to have preordered this with Kapow.

I'll have to decide if I care enough about the figure to have it twice.

That's an exaggeration. She's got some more red. It's just not a good enough figure to deal with those import fees. Sorry. It's ok and cool but chronic is more worth it.

Ah, gotcha. The world is right again. I thought there was discussion initially that Hasbro's was more comic accurate. Must have been another figure...
[Edit] As I look at my comic that came with the figure, the cover art is accurate to Hasbro's scheme. But, looking at the inside, the Takara one is closer to the interior art.

Takara based theirs on Sarah Stone's coloring of Windblade, which in turn was based on early concept coloring for the character. The Hasbro toy is the finalized color scheme, but the comics instead depict the earlier unfinalized deco, which Takara decided to emulate for their toy.Agamemnon wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Negative. And frankly, the Sarah Stone/Takara deco is much prettier since it gives some much needed color to an otherwise uncolored jet mode.
However, a few select comics (and some covers) not done by Sarah Stone colored Windblade kinda similar to her Hasbro toy:
But the early/Stone/Takara deco is more ubiquitous (and nicer).

Her guns can be stored there to resemble rocket launchers.

Those are speed holes. They make the car go faster.

They're just holes. Is it really that bad?

Or, if you're running her down a Pinewood Derby track, they're to fill with lead to weigh her down!
Incidentally...

I didn't even know there was one. Of course, that is because any sane person and even most insane ones (I shan't reveal which category I fit into) shouldn't need close to that many.

Very astute observation my good man. People have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much free time in their hands. (Over the limit "a")

Hasbro's Chromia, however, might have some brownie points for being the more comic-accurate of the two.Delta Magnus wrote:Eyup, the Takara fembots look a million times better.

I think Takara's Windblade is hands down better, but Arcee & Chromia are both up in the air for me.
I don't mind the Hasbro deco on Arcee at all - in fact, I like how the black breaks up all the lighter tones. And Chromia is, as you say, the more comic accurate of the options. So.

Well, the stock image with TFSource's listing of the toy includes the swords, so I'd say she will include them.

Oh it's included I reckon:

So no worries about her not having a those energon swords. That, or try using TFA Arcee's swords (if they fit).

Except for, y'know, the entire alt-mode, which is a comic-book thing. Might as well demand slavish G1 cartoon-accurate colors on Galaxy Force Chromia.

Not to mention that G1 cartoon Chromia didn't have lilac in her deco:Deathsanras wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Hasbro's Chromia, however, might have some brownie points for being the more comic-accurate of the two.
