Was glad that cosmos turned out to be a reissue. Was already quite pleased with this version and yay one less tf to hunt for. Sea spray looks awesome and will be a fine addition to my legends collection

Ooooohoohoohoo I can't wait to get a chance to grab these guys! In the meantime though, I'm just plain excited to see more in-hand images of Seaspray because he still looks so amazing.
Interesting, though, that in-hand he looks a lot less 'clean' than he did in previous images. I'm sure part of it has to do with his legs being packaged sideways, but it just looks like he has a lot more obvious hinges and joints than the (IIRC) super-jointless-looking images I seem to remember. (I might just be misremembering of course.) Not that I mind it either, in fact it makes him fit in a bit better visually with his buddies - just interesting that the joints and lines seem a lot more prominent than I remember seeing in previous pictures.

Oh I didn't realise Cosmos was getting re-branded as a Titans line figure. Considering how hard it was to find the previous 30th thrilling version that's actually a welcome re-release from Hasbro for once. Scrounge would have been nice too...

I kind wish they'd repainted Cosmos into the other shade of Green the Legion/EZ type one existed in as that would be nice to have that other shade of green in the bigger size.
I guess the mould change to the underside should make the turret form more feasible for the Micromaster/Targetmaster companion - it does fit in there on the original but it's a lot of effort to jam in there.

It still strikes me as weird that they're re-releasing Cosmos. It's not like they needed to have a second figure in the wave. Other size classes only have one figure.

It looks like Cosmos is a slightly darker shade of green, but is there any other change? Scrounge had one, and did that carry over or is there some new Titan-tooling?

At least they are getting cards. What would be real dumb is if some came with cards and some came with comics, depending on where you are located geographically, making you unable to get all the set.

That's cool that they're doing newer versions of Seaspray and Cosmos. Can anyone tell me if there are newer versions of Wheelie and Cliffjumper? Maybe I should go look at that link Burn gave me.

There's definitely a newer version of Wheelie, from just the beginning of this line! Legends class; probably the best-looking G1-styled Wheelie we've gotten in a long time (ever?); there's some debate over whether he's ruined by QC issues leading to a not-very-secure vehicle mode, but if you can get one that pegs together solidly enough (like mine) then he's a genuinely fantastic figure! The only problem might be that he was in Wave 1 and most stores are up to Wave 3 or 4 now, so he may be a little hard to find at retail. I'm sure WJ88 or someone can source up a few online stores that still have him for a decent price, though.
As for Cliffjumper, the most recent update to him was a retool straight-up repaint (thanks Wolfman) of the Thrilling 30 Bumblebee mold, and that was about 3 years ago. I've never had that mold myself so I can't make a personal judgement, but from what I understand it's pretty decent (and also useful if you have the new Titans Return Bumblebee and want the two not to share a mold). Of course being so far out of production, you'd have to go secondhand to find him, but if you really want an updated Legends-class Cliffjumper now then that's by far your best option. (If you wait a while longer though, I'm sure we'll see another new Cliffjumper within the next couple years, possibly/probably as a redeco or retool of TR Bee. No guarantees though, of course, just theorising!)

Powerglide's got an update too! He was done during Combiner Wars last year, so again you might need to go through the secondary market if you're thinking of picking him up. He's pretty decent, and again is probably the most faithful update to Powerglide's G1 look, but he's not quite my favorite figure to be honest (best Powerglide toy, but not best Transformers toy if that makes sense). If you have a particular attachment to the character though, he'd probably be pretty worth-it if you can get him for about retail price or below (around $10US or so).

H3ll I saw more people complaining about not having that Chromia and Arcee set than Cosmos.
What other Legends worthy figures are Hasbro dragging their feet on these days besides the rest of those remaining Cassettes plus Barrage and Ransack remolds from Kickback and Bombshell?

Quick clarification. Thrilling 30 Legends Cliffjumper was a straight up repaint of the preceding Bumblebee release of the mold. No new head or any other tooling was found on Cliffjumper, sadly. If he had at least that, I'd be satisfied, but as it is, I can fully support other fans' demand for a proper Legends class Cliffjumper. Make it happen, Hasbro!

Beachcomber, off the top of my head. I'd really like a good figure of him (and IIRC, there was a rumor of an upcoming Legends Beachcomber, so if true I'd be very happy). Also, maybe a more accurate - i.e. tank-barrel-on-the-chest - Legends Warpath would be nice if we're trying to complete all the Minibots in Legends scale, though his Deluxe figure is still fantastic from what I understand.
Ah, whoops! Heh, I guess that's what happens when I don't own the toy and don't do my research. I'll probably edit my previous post just for clarification there, but thanks for pointing that out!
(And yeah, now that I know that T30 Cliff isn't retooled at all, I'm also much more inclined to want a properly-retooled(at the least) update. Wouldn't it be nice to see a TR-based Cliffjumper with proper head and angular feets? Oh man, now I want another version of that mold...)

By the way, of everyone that's found them; were Octane and Blitzwing lower than the originally reported $29? Even if you're not buying them check the price, that could be news.

If they're Voyager class Transformers, they're bound to be cheaper if you can find them at Walmart because Walmart only charges about $25 for Voyager class Transformers.

If you're patient, you can usually get it for cheaper as they almost inevitably go on sale. For example, HTS sells voyagers for MSRP, but you can get 20% off for signing up for emails. And TRU had a BOGO sale last week. The problem (besides waiting) is that popular figures may be sold out. Alas, that's the struggle. #firstworldproblems

i saw a place that had voyagers for $20

the $20 was in a tourist area and the others are in normal towns

It really depends on the area. For some reason, Target prices are not centralized, and neither are TRU price sin the US. They are in canada. Not sure if Walmart has centralized pricing in the US.
Not really news since its not a sure thing and cant be applied everywhere, its just all dependent on where you are.

I believe Walmart doesn't centralize. I remember folks here were reporting discounted prices I was not seeing in the past. Target's pricing makes no sense to me. Target in Brooklyn had broadside for $29. Meanwhile I saw him in Manhattan, where you would think it would cost more, for $25.

Greetings All, just got back from vacation in AZ. Visited a few toys stores while I was there, nothing really earth shattering, but I did see Sky Shadow (4 of them in fact) at the Target in Glendale AZ. I posted it in the sightings area. price was $40.00. Still got a slightly better deal at HTS with my coupon,
Still haven't seen any wave 4 deluxes (other than Krok & Quake at Walgreens), and certainly no wave 5 anything yet, but I am glad to see them starting to pop up.
Also I haven't checked my local TRU yet, but the one I went to in AZ, the "Brand New" display for TLK was pretty unimpressive...I remember AoE had the shelves bursting with toys, maybe Hasbro & TRU are being more conservative thinking they overproduced last time, which they did...The only reason why I am mentioning TLK here is I am curious if/how it may choke out TR for a while. I hope not, but in 2014 I wasn't collecting and cant quite remember how T30 fared when AoE was dominating the shelves that summer and into the end of the year.

I think they are waiting for the movie to be released to make a big display. Right now, that space in my TRU is occupied by Cars 3 toys.

As these Wave 5 voyagers slowly start to creep onto toy shelves all around America, one kindly owner of Blitzwing and Octone; Twitter user Seth Longmire has taken the time to photograph the back of their boxes (containing their bios) and upload them to Twitter. They also took a picture of the cross-sells on Octone's box, but unfortunately it reveals no new product - Sky Shadow, Ramhorn, Misfire and of course Blitzwing were all previously confirmed. Though it is rather interesting that the Wave 4 Leader-class is appearing on the back of the Wave 5 Voyager's box, seemingly indicating he's packed in that Wave's Leader cases. In addition, if you were wondering; the same twitter user confirmed that the cross-sell is the same on Blitzwing's box, just with Octane in the Voyager spot of course. In any case, take a look at the bios below and tell us what you think in the forums!

Talking of Animated, I'm surprised the bio didn't give him the Ice/Fire powers he's had since Animated and even got transplanted onto the G1 version in Devastation. I'd be disappointed, but his new power is so awesome I don't find myself minding that much.

"Decepticon Hazard gives Blitzwing the ability to take over the system's of other Bots and cause them to either super-heat their processors to self destruct or to overload their cooling systems freezing their sparks cold."
Something like that I bet someone could write that better.
