Seriously, if I ever get into buying non movie TransFormers, I am basing my entire Animated continuity's scale on him alone.
Unfortunately, some don't quite work that way....as not everyone has an Activator's toy, why must all Blackout's suffer the out of scale fate? WHYYY?!?!?!

Ha! Nice post. Tell us how you feel!
I, for one, am a lot less impressed than I though I would be. This is just not my bag at all for some reason. I really can't even put my finger on it-it isn't one thing that I actually think is bad. I just don't like it. It is basically like a Donkey Kong Crossover.

I like it. I wasn't fussed one way or another about the movie version but this one tickles my fancy...I think because of how over the top he is. Either way I plan to buy him tomorrow. Maybe flaunt him a little.Prime Riblet wrote:Mykltron wrote:I think this would be a good toy if it didn't have monkey arms, had a neck joint and wasn't so ugly.

As you can see in this picture the rotor section has little black pegs to clip onto the helicopter tail. This little black pegs are sloped towards the front meaning that the rotor and the 'copter are easy to push together but harder to pull apart.
In this picture you're looking at the rear of his 'copter mode from the underside. As you may be able to see (sorry it's not a great picture) there are two hooks at the very back of the 'copter. These hooks hold the little black pegs on and it takes quite a bit of pressure to remove the rotor from the tail. After doing it just a couple of times the hooks already have a small white pressure mark. Each transformation puts increasing strain on this part, I suspect. Given Arcee's thumb issue, I'm more than a little concerned about this.
EDIT: The Japanese instructions have a little warning box that more-or-less translates into "The joint is tough. When you do this part, please be careful." Hmmmmm.
