Legends LG-58 Autobot Clones (Fastlane and Cloudraker)
LG-59 Blitzwing
LG-60 Overlord
Blitzwing comes with the Shufler Titan Master animal done in a black deco and called Bigfight and Overlord comes with tho heads rather than one. His box even shows two drawings of the robot mode with different faces and different ways to pose his chest flaps. One is in reference to Maserforce while the other (with the lips) is in reference to his IDW appearance. We then have images of all these in hand which includes a comparison to the Hasbro Overlord (using one of the two Legends Overlord heads).

LG62 (Windblade)
are slated for January as well yes? Or did they get pushed to February? That would probably make more sense since G2 Megs is the only Legends listed for February thus far.

I'm just happy we have a nice, matching set of all three Decepticon Triple Grapefruits at long last.

I’m just saying call it whatever. It’s like when people get mad when a name gets change do due to trademark or copyright. Example when hasbro named Octane Octone and before that Tankor and people get upset about it or they use a previous term because that legally can’t. Once you buy it it’s your toy. They’re whirver you want them to be.

I'm having to get Windblade and Greatshot from BBTS because Amazon Japan didn't open pre-orders for Windblade and don't carry Takara web exclusives .

Keep the MP-40 (Targetmaster Hot Rodimus for those not familiar with the code) solely for the Targetmaster. Besides, Rodimus Prime he's not.

Indeed I do not, I jumped on the Takara stuff rather late, (When I got my own credit card and don't have to rely on a family allowance) starting with Kup and Hot Rod when there started to be actual changes to the mold besides color differences and a slightly different head. (Chromedome, Hardhead etc)
Of course I only get the ones that add something such as how I got Takara Octance simply because he added more with the Starscream head.
I still go with Hasbro choices as well if the changes are not big enough for example I can live without Target masters so I got the Hasbro versions of Twinferno, Triggerhappy, Misfire and eventually Slugslinger.
(I actually prefer the darker purple for Galvatron and Shockwave)

On the flipside, the Megatron Headmaster is better on the Legends... which isn't saying that much to begin with.

I would be okay with the light purple underwear, dark purple Galvatron from AKOM animated episodes before I'd want Takara's light purple Galvatron.

Im a huge fan of the Takara purple choices. I waited 30 years for toys tgat actually looked like the cartoon I grew up with. The hasbro decos usually suck. I just dont get why anuone would want a weird toy deco on a mold thats meant to jean on the cartoon accurate side. Hasbro should just let the takara guys handle the decos and stick to designing the molds.

In terms of purple, its true. Grey Galvatron had a dark purple. So did Hasbro Galvatron. Hasbro seems to be a little nervous about going with the grey deco. Even the universe deluxe grey galvatron had all kinds of purple in robot mode to appease the popularity of him being purple. I imagine Sunbow made him purple so that he would have his own unique look rather than just being Megatron with a crown.

The last grey galvatron we got from Hasbro was in Cybertron right?

Assuming you mean this one?
Transformers Cybertron Galvatron (Master Galvatron) Gallery
You got one deco thats more of an off white. The other deco arguably is a nod to grey galvatron if you dont mind all that yellow and teal. So im not sure if it counts. I think this is the last real grey galvatron which is still blatantly purple to keep toon fans happy:
Transformers Universe - Classics 2.0 Galvatron Gallery
Of course there is Unite Warriors Grand Galvatron which homages grey toy galvaton all the way down to the stupid bottle head disquised as a crown:
Transformers Unite Warriors Grand Galvatron Gallery
But even then they went with the cartoon accurate purple to accomodate Cyclonus since Hasbro already did one in the toy accurate dark purple.

The truth lies between the 2 extremes, and when I have to choose, I prefer the light.

I would agree that the Hasbro purple is too dark & the Takara purple is too light. I went with the Takara version with better paint detail on the headmaster & eventually got the Reprolabels helmet add on because the crown gimmick was a much worse detriment to that figure than either company's choice of purples.

I originally waited for the Takara Galvatron, hoping the purple would look darker in person, and therefore closer to animation accurate, than the stock photos were depicting. Alas, my hopes were dashed. So, I picked up Hasbro Galvatron, preferring Galvatron's purple to be darker than it should rather than way lighter. I did a little part swapping to enhance the paint apps on the Hasbro Galvatron, though, like giving him the Legends Megatron Headmaster for a silver painted face, the hip guards for the red highlights on top, and the arm cannon (the black details on the stock are more correct than the red in terms of cartoon accuracy). I wanted to do more, like swap around the tank treads and the shoulder "pauldrons," but the disassembly was a lot more work than I had anticipated, and I didn't want to risk breaking either figure. I'm hoping in a few years down the line, we'll get a reuse of this Galvatron mold with a premium cartoon accurate deco, retooled to either incorporate its own whole head (wouldn't be that hard, honestly, with the big, hollow chest cavity, or at least to rework the "mask" gimmick to sit flush against the Headmaster component.

That being said, the original G1 Galvatron toy did have some purple on him, though his primary plastic color was indeed gray. You can see in the picture below that G1 Galvatron has purple on his upper arms, thighs, and part of his waste:
Hasbro's choice of purple plastic for Titans Return Galvatron is, not surprisingly, a very good match for the G1 plastic color:
The color in the above computer render are a bit off, but trust me. In person, the purple is even deeper and a much closer match to the purple in the G1 toy. Hasbro really went all-in with the purple for TR Galvatron too. He's got not one but two different purple plastic colors in his molding, not to mention some purple paint as well. He's even got purple where it doesn't belong, like his tank treads. Oops!

And, admittedly, the one pic of Overlord Tera made by a Hasbro and Takara Overlord is at an angle that doesn't really show a good look at the two different blues contrasting each other.
