I wish a 3P would make us a little snap on chest with their exact detailing. I think that would help them a lot.

So, they'll ship together? That's good to know. Usually when these notices get made I end up seeing them by Monday or Tuesday. Too bad series 3 of this isn't as good as the first 2 were.

theyre little, have new proper looking heads, and embody enough of the "tape" aspect even if its not the correct tape. theyll look good along side whichever blaster you have (mines device label broadblast).

Got my Rewind and Eject yesterday. Kinda sad that TFSS 2.0 is over, no more Transformers coming in the mail each month. Guess I will have to get Arcee and Brainstorm online ;) Thanks again FunPub for the sweet figures.

Agreed!

After all was said and done, there was a LOT of win this year. Some great Generations molds, great characters, fun bonus microns and solid extra figure. I mean heck... we got an extra combining "Wrecker" for the team, three IDW characters, Barricade (whose paint scheme looks amazing in person), an action master, and a fan-favorite beast character who is so odd and wild we'd never get it from Hasbro.

Hats off for a great year! See you in 3.0, FanPub/TFCC!

Got these in yesterday. Another case of the head sculpts being done totally on point. Color schemes are nice in hand as well.

I did forget how un-fun this mold is though. No biggie, I have the United Rumble/Frenzy pack so it was a known factor.

So the same mold, but:

- Rewind is from a universe leeching off of Primax 1002.19 Gamma (aka IDW-verse)
- Eject is from Primax 209.0 Gamma (aka Beast Wars Uprising).

How funny. I wonder if the other exists in the universe of the one. :-?

Went to put Eject on the shelf yesterday and noticed two assembly errors. Sigh, gotta send back for an exchange now :( At least they're easy with that stuff.

What's kinda sad is that this makes Eject not just a fanatic about any old sports, but specifically of gladiatorial combat. :!:

Two of the same tank turret, and two of the same connector that links the shoulder to the torso. In other words, he has a permanently lopsided looking turret and one of the shoulders won't hold in place. They're letting me exchange it and didn't give a fuss about it, still annoying but at least they're making it right.

The Club has been extraordinarily good with replacing things for me over the last couple years.

-Scourge had two left arms, so they sent me a replacement arm.
-One of Rampage's head spikes was snapped off, so they sent me a new head.
-The Transmutate box cover was full of unslighty air bubbles, so they sent me a better condition one.
-One of Stylor's leg connectors was mal-formed, so they sent a second Stylor.

And often times, they'll let you keep the faulty one you have. Really top notch customer service, in my experience (although I am sure others might disagree).

A retool in fact, he has a new head. Here's a little bit of trivia: The Axelerators and Skyscorchers had simpler alternate names in Europe, Windbreaker was simply called "Zap" in the UK. It's those UK names that the Japanese names for the Block Town repaints were based on, in this case "Carzap". Same goes for the G2 Laser Rods.

Oh,ok. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Like other Club members, the staff gets the same email announcements from the Club itself. Since the Club is the primary source, the staff tends to prefer crediting the original source and doing so when said original source gives them the info.

Recently tweeted from the official Transformers Collectors' Club account is the cover image for the 60th issue of their magazine. And who does it feature? The Destructons. Check out the mirrored image below, and let us know what you make of it - could there be toys in the Club's plans for the future?

Issue 60 of the TCC Magazine will be hitting mailboxes very soon. Some GREAT features this issue! Jim Sorenson concludes the 30th anniversary article series with a look at the Aligned Universe. Not likely since these designs are the original designs of the Destructons from the Blackthorne comics and not based on any toys. The Destructons don't transform, either. They're featured here since they've been pivotal characters in this year's six-part Club magazine comic story "Alone Together".

I don't care one bit if they transform or not, I would very much like three voyagers and a leader out of them. Medusa and Psychokhan as voyagers just to make sure they have enough articulation and are decently sized.

At the BotCon Retrospective Panel at this year's con, there were 20 concepts shown for toy ideas that the Club had had for exclusives, but were never made. The first 10 were ideas that never got past conception, and the secone 10 were ones that were approved but then rejected. In the second group were two concepts for a Bruton toy. One was to have been made from the Generations FOC Voyager Grimlock mold, and the other was to have been made from the Prime First Edition Voyager Bulkhead mold. But both were canned due to Bruton being considered far too obscure to be desirable.

And seeing as how neither of these molds would really do Bruton proper justice, I'm glad neither were made.

Also, just for funsies, have some nightmare fuel:

Mindmaster wrote:Out of curiosity, what were the other nineteen concepts?

Quoted from my own coverage of the panel:
20 Years, 20 Exclusives That Never Were.

The first 10 never even made it past conception, the second ten were approved but then rejected

1 – Hardshell (G1 Bombshell) from Generations Darkmount/Straxus

2 – Overlord from ROTF Mindwipe

3 – Hubcap from Animated Soundwave

4 – "Marlboro" from ROTF Lockdown

5 – "Femme Fatale Cykill" from Prime First Edition Arcee

6 – "Predaking BW Style" from Beast Wars Tigerhawk

7 – Shattered Glass Stranglehold from 2010 Deluxe Axor, would have had a mustache

8 – Skyquake and King Atlas (I think?) from Universe Ultra Silverbolt

9 – The Turbomasters w/ Thunderclash from Prime RID Ultra Magnus and four Prime RID Deluxe car molds (Wheeljack, Bumblebee, etc.)

10 – Twilight Sparkle Prime from Beast Wars Neo Mach Kick

What You Almost Got

11 – G1 Ransack from Generations FOC Kickback w/ two Arms Microns

12 – Three pirates from PRID Wheeljack, PRID Dreadwing, Generations FOC Air Raid (Wheeljack was almost this year's Cannonball)

13 – Bumper from Prime RID Rumble

14 – G1 Crosshairs from Generations Kup

15 – Animated Strika from Animated Voyager Bulkhead

16 – Bruton from Generations FOC Grimlock

17 – Bruton from Prime First Edition Bulkhead

18 – Machine Wars Prowl from Classics Mirage (was replaced by Machine Wars Mirage)

19 – Machine Wars Hubcap from Generations Kup w/ the MW Hoist/Electrons headsculpt

Teasing us with Animated drawings, Sideswipe, Jackpot, Jhiaxus, Goldbug, purple Blackout

20 – The original plan for 2011's Animated set: Toxic Mayhem – BugBite (Animated Hydrodrive Bumblebee) and Toxitron (Animated Wingblade Optimus Prime) vs. Jackpot (which we did get later) and Kup (Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime). Animated Sideswipe would have been based on the SG deco instead of the G2 deco. Animated Tigatron from Rodimus. Animated Shokaract from Blackout. Animated Springer from Swindle. Animated Flamewar, Nightracer, and one other black & green Con fembot (missed the name of this one) from Arcee. Plus G1-colors Breakdown and Action Master colors Thundercracker (both of which we did wind up getting).

One proposal that couldn’t be found was told to us instead: a BotCon Alternators box set. Four figure box set. Galvatron from Wheeljack (new head). Cyclonus from Mirage. Ultra Magnus from Optimus. Rodimus from somebody (but we got one anyway).

The Ultra Mammoth idea came out earlier than it was revealed, in like 2012 or so. And since we got a BW version of Ultra Magnus, and there was already a BW version of Optimus, who does that leave that's missing...?

Bonus 21 – Rodimouse from Transmetal Rattrap!

From what I recall, the most well received ideas from the audience were numbers 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 (the whole room went nuts over this one, with everyone either loving it or hating it), 11, 15, 18, 19, 20, the Alternators set, and 21.
