We had images of the Jada 1:24 scaled diecast cars a little while ago and now the same source, Paulmartstore.com has put up listings for the 1:32 and 1:62 scaled cars. It is once again a mixture of Optimus, Barricade, Crosshairs and Bumblebee. The dioramas at the back of the 1:62 scaled cars seem to be interlocking to create one long diorama. You will notice that Hot Rod is not present even though he was rumoured to be made and that is because all JADA Hot Rod products will be Walmart exclusives. We have no images of him yet, so if ever you find a Jada Hot Rod toy in Walmart, please take an image and send it to us.
The 1:32 scaled cars are $9.99 while the 1:62 scaled cars are $7.99.

1:24 is Alternator/Binaltech size
1:32 is Alternity/GT size
1:64 is Hot Wheels size?
I guess so.

I don't see it as a ricer look. Maybe because the mods are well done and look good on the cars? And it's not like they threw a wing and a splitter on a '01 Corolla or anything. They're top of the line Corvettes and Camaros, I think that helps for me at least.
EDIT: Plus, you've got a stock DB-11, Mclaren, and Centenario in TLK, so I suppose that's progress. (AND an old Citroën!)

A "Ricer" is an owner of an overly-modified cheap (normally an import) car. Think "Seventeen year old who wants to turn their beater into a Fast and Furious car". Lots of unnecessary wings, body kits and undercarriage lighting. Now this is not to say that all cars with wings/body kits/undercarriage lighting etc. are Ricers; Obviously when those mods are applied to a car that's of quality/actually meant to go fast, when the mods are applied correctly and fit the car (as most ricer mods are DIY jobs that look awful), and when they serve a genuine purpose other than to look cool, it's justified. From this "up for interpretation" definition comes our current debate. I can see where 'jam is coming from, but I just don't see (mainly Crosshairs and Bee) as looking Riced.
Don't talk to me about cars, man. I'll end up writing essays.

"Ricer"?
That made my day lol !
I grew up with the lowrider crowd so I always found the performance import crowd to be funny as hell. We used to joke about the wings on their trunks make the cars look like shopping carts.

And the Hot Rod car model is gorgeous too. Yeah a Masterpiece figure would be cool but they've only just barely started those and so even if they continue that subline extensively he's probably not a priority as such when so many other popular characters were in the earlier films. If only they could do those as often as regular figures but hey.

I usually like plush toys but I think I would have nightmares if I kept one of those anyplace near my bed/couch. Why can't they make plush that don't look scary?

Plus, y'know, Hot Rod is an adjective for an actual car. On paper, "Lamborghini Centenario Hot Rod" totally could mean it's tricked out with a flame paint job and giant silver exhausts on the side- hey WAITAMINUTE!

I'd snap up a Movie Masterpiece Ratchet in a heartbeat. Wow, I never thought about that possibility before.

The first comes to us from yours truly, who discovered the rest of the shirts in a Transformers display this morning. You can see their stock images by following the above story link.
Up next is a sighting from Scottimus Prime, who found new Transformers Beach Towels for $8.94 at the Walmart in East Setauket, New York.
And Finally, we have some new Hot Rod costumes that have come to our attention, courtesy of Walmart.com. The costumes use 2 different design styles for Hot Rod, along with some gloves to go with said costumes.
Check out all the images below, and get your movie hype on!

Dammit, that might have worked since she did bring up that she really likes the movies and was keen to see TLK soon. I would have happily watched the film a 2nd time as a date too. :O

Go back. If she's there, do it. Ask her out on a movie date. see it again.
If she's not, make the bear, walk by again later like in a day or a few and see if she's there and try that.

This plan would require me to have much more spare cash than I tend to have. Seeing as how that shop is Cambridge (where the cinema is) so that's £6.70 per day I go there on the off chance she's there. And the bear is £24. And the movie is about £10 per ticket (and as a gentlemen I'd be paying for both tickets) and again gentlemenly pay for meal.
Dating is expensive but that's no secret, eh?
Build-A-Date sounds like a profitable venture in itself though.

You're telling me! i pay less for the transformers stuff i pick up from stores after the date than I do for the actual date dinner!
Come to think of it, I may be near a build-a-bear next weekend. Maybe I can take a peek and see if they have some bee's there...

The little voice boxes you put in the bears are neat though. I kinda wanted to just buy the Optimus Prime one just on it's own with no bear since it sounds like that's Cullen's voice saying some phrases and such. I have no idea who voices the Bee one. It sounded like a proper voice tather then radio samples and it didn't sound much like his TLK voice (which I presume is Mark Ryan? I didn't see enough of the credits).

He found it at Walmart, of course, the exclusive retailer. It also comes with a collectable 100% metal coin. There are two other smaller scales of Hot Rod offered in this line and they are all exclusive to Walmart. For those unaware, these are licenced non transforming cars. Will any of you be getting this?
Now I want a 100% movie accurate non-transforming robot figure to go with it.

That will probabl happen, but it might cost you one of your kidneys looking at how much the others go for.

To be fair, while the Human Alliance bots were supposedly 1:24 scale, the humans were not.
