The artists keep raising the bar on these collections. Not sure if it can get any better than this round though.
Oh, actually there's some jam pieces coming this Summer. Those are going to be great.

But Guido's sketches are so good... And I'll never get a sketch from Nick without spending oodles on a plain ticket... Sigh... Thoughts?

Tough call. For me, Roche's were so different from the other guys who've been on this project that I might go with those. But Guido's pieces are truly beautiful and hard to turn down
.
I just posted all ten Roche sketches on our facebook page if that helps? http://www.facebook.com/idwlimited
Oh, and if you're the guy who tweeted about this Nick Roche answered you!

Without a second thought.
He drew me an amazing Kup last year, which I got JP Bove to colour:

I see! That's making this terribly complicated, hah.
I did tweet about it to him and I saw his reply. Right now, I'm staring at my computer wondering if I should hit checkout since he was my first inclination to go with, but Guido's stuff is just magnificent.
It's one of those things that I won't get another shot with and there will be regret either way, but I've never been able to catch Nick at a US convention like San Diego, which is making the decision all that much more gut wrenching. I haven't with Guido either, but I've been able to get some art from him.

Wow! See, I might ask someone to see if they would get a sketch for me, but if I had gotten that, I would have kept it!
Fantastic coloring and sketch. Kup is my favorite Roche character and also my favorite black label sketch is the Kup being "attacked"... Sigh... Choices.

I'm going to try to get a different artist each time. For Volume 1, I got Casey Coller. This time, I get EJ Su. Really hoping Guido and Roche do another set later.

I definitely hope that they do. Although if they do a HC of the Ongoing, I'd imagine Guido would definitely make a return. Maybe one for LSotW too? Who knows.

Gotcha.
Wasn't sure whether you hadn't seen last year's HC version.

Oh, definitely. I have the HC and soft cover editions as well as a few pages of art.
Just some blueline inks from Waki and some art from Guido.
Did I mention I really like the series?

I only have the book, and that Kup I posted earlier.

Those are really cool things! I just happened to get lucky with mine, but I'd like to meet Nick and get my hard cover edition signed at some point. IDW, send Nick to San Diego (or Boston) Comic Con this year! Maybe all the TF guys too, it'll just make life easier for me, heh.

Thanks natecm! I'll be looking forward to those future books.
Also, I decided just to go with Nick for now because I'm just crossing my fingers for a piece o' Kup. Thanks for the posts.
