Agamemnon wrote:So, I decided to double-dip to get the Motormaster with the fixed hip ratchets. I bought the set of Battle Core OP and Motormaster from BBTS. I can confirm that my new Motormaster has the fixed hips. I think some were looking for the embossed lot number on the back of the box near the bottom. This is what my Motormaster had:
52231
I hope that helps anyone looking for the big guy with the right hip ratchets.
Check this area of the box to see if the number mentioned above is embossed.

No, battle core o/p is the only one getting the fix. The case is comprised of the fixed mm and bco/p, so there's no room for the original o/p. TT's uw o/p should have the fixed thighs I assume.

It'd be cool if they did something like a harbinger of Unicron, that hunted and killed enemies of Unicron, him and other emissaries of Unicron like drancron, rartorata, elephorca, or shockaract, or The Fallen
Despite the badassery of Sky Lynx though, I still really want a Nexus Prime
That would probably be a funpub thing, and they have moved on, by next year, they will have titan returning wars' molds at their disposal...

Thats the first I hear of that, if you are referring to Hasbro releases. As far as I know, the only release of that exact mold to get a fix ratchet will be the Takara version, not the Hasbro version. And the way to identify it is that it comes in a takara box set

"Prime wars" gives us combiners, headmasters, etc..... I would not rule out a Nexus some where down the tracks, especially with this Sentinel they are putting out

I'm pretty sure he means Battle Corp Prime is the only one getting the fix.

Isn't that more or less Grand Scourge's story? He's a herald of Unicron with a time and space Matrix that lets him travel through dimensions to hunt down anyone with a Matrix (basically anyone with Prime or Convoy in their name). There's also CW Cyclonus/Galvatronus who has a somewhat similar thing going on without the dimension hoping.

Uh, yeah, that's already been well established in the last few posts. He's saying Battle Core OP is the only Prime getting the fix which is true.

He knew they were releasing MM with the fixed hips, as per the original message. He was asking if red prime was getting a re-release with hip fix, but instead we are getting BC Prime. Motormaster was never in question

Well....you could always fix your existing ones, thanks to albnok's video link! thus saving you money you would've had to spend on the Motormaster reissue, plus I'm sure the fix on that video link also works on Prime too

Explanation, I was not aware that there was such a thread. I've been extremely preoccupied lately with school (huge art project, major essay, big world studies project, and student store management) and other responsibilities (spent nearly all of this past Sunday setting up my school for homecoming.) Not to mention some personal issues that've been giving me a headache. So I'm a bit out of the loop and really tired, from now on I will discuss this series there.

Indeed, I'll try this with my MM and see if there is a difference between the two versions. I'm starting to think that in assembly the parts were swapped in that first OP/MM wave...
Because that never happens, right Hasbro?

So while this thread has seen tons of complaining that Takara is doing things right with many of these toys (which I am not contesting), it is interesting to step back and see how lucky we are. We eventually got our Slingshot and Wildrider, and all this time, they didnt get the new characters. Of course, that will probably change with takara's release of the galvatronus combiner but I did find it interesting to see that there is always a flipside.

I dont think thats the point. The deal is that until recently, most TFs were sold in alt mode but that has since changed in the west where most TFs are now sold in Robot Mode. So the question was: in a time where most Hasbro TFs are sold in robot mode, will Skykynx be sold in vehicle mode?
I think yes
This makes me think, what was the last non exclusive toy to be sold in vehicle mode by hasbro? (not alt mode, those would be last year's dinobots, I am really asking for a vehicle here). Was it the prime RID figures, like Cliffjumper and Vehicon?

That's not how the fix works - the part was initially designed wrong. They fixed the design after. With this fix, you get a tight but non-clicking rotation, whereas with the new waves, it is tight and clicks in the correct angle.

So my marching band just got a new staff member. This staff member was talking to my band director and was told about be being a big transformers fan, with the subject being brought up after a question dealing with DotM was used in a game of jeopardy that we all took part in. He actually stopped me and talked to me yesterday and told me about how he is a big fan as well! He checks transformers sites and stores before he opens his email and everything.
He also went on to say that he just acquired the reissue "blue" Bluestreak and how it was such a win for him, and then went on to talk about the current lines. I told him about how I have Defensor and Optimus Maximus in my room and he went straight into the talk about Devastator. I told him he would be mine come Christmas. His response: Get the Unite Warriors guy! That is the definition of a beautiful Devastator! Hasbro is good too, but Takara is where you should go!
And that is how I found out that there are 2 transformers fans in the band program. My one friend who was with me even looked me straight in the eye after he and I parted, and she says: "We have just found future you..." Never felt so flattered in my life

I'd say too soon to tell. The drill could be a FunPub-original weapon, plus I'd have expected a few more changes to the shell if it was indeed Nosecone. I'm gonna wait on the answer to who made that drill: Hasbro/TakaraTomy, or FunPub.
