I think that this figure is nice, however, I really wish it was larger.. I wish it was the same height as HA BB, and that the Back pack was detachable..or atleast able to fold up into a more jetpack looking back side design..honestly if they did these molds as a rerelease as Movie Masterpieces, then all they need to do is a few mods here and there..
the swords are the correct movie size..I'm not wishing they were bigger..
I'll buy him, but I am not convinced Hasbro did as good a job as they did with HA bumblebee..
on the video Kid..
he's got to be under 11 or 12..voice had not changed.. and for his age, not bad of a review..
Though I kept screaming at my monitor..
"Stop Shaking the Camera!!!"

He looks good to me. I can see why some would find his back kibble annoying, but I don't even plan on keeping him displayed on bot mode. He'll look awesome in alt mode along with my Alternators and HA BB. Hasbro is really doing a great job with these HA figures. I know people may be disappointed with the kibble and stockiness of the toy, but these are toys with very detailed alt modes, so of course the bot modes will be a little compromised. Remember how horrendous most of the Alternator bot modes were?
I'm hoping Barricade looks awesome and I'm also secretly wishing they'll do a Human Alliance Jolt...

I don't like the way this kid's fingers keep squirming all over Sideswipe. All that stuttering! All the uneccessary swearing makes the video feel very childish. The shaky camera too. Step aside, kiddo, let the professionals (i.e. Peaugh) do their job. That, or you could rehearse your lines, trim the vulgarities and the praise, keep the camera fixed completely still, don't repeat flinging your figures all over the camera view and keep the figure still more often and you'd do a bangup job.
That aside, alot of parts I agree with the kid, dangit that alt-mode is SO sexy! Wait, his rocket launcher can sit flush with his shoulder? Nice! Swords...rubbery plastic. <slams head on table> Granted, they're thin, but still... And they don't look movie-accurate in terms of size - the deluxe version's bigger-scaled ones are probably more accurate in the size department. Still not liking the back-kibble but he's fairly alright. Like how many describe the movie sequel, the Human Alliance version of Sideswipe is in ways both better and worse than his deluxe version. Hmmm... Hydraulics...
Oh, and Epps is still looking very lanky.
Edit: Waiiit - Sideswipe's back basket is a major improvement from Bumblebee's back roof kibble?

Wait didn't we see pictures of sideswipes hidden face after you lift the visor? or was that left out in the final production?

Looks great...
What I want to know is are these things showing up at retail already or did this kid get a stolen one from China?

Goddamn that kids voice is frakin annoying. Had to turn the sound off just to try and watch the transformation sequence. After seeing the transformation im not impressed. The figure looks alright but its not worth the money. If it goes down to $15-$20 on clearance or on sale then yeah ill get it but until then its a pass. He is a little to fat too. But im use to seeing the deluxe version so that could make me bias.

i felt the same way with the kid, but he's trying at least. I feel that this figure a lost cause it could have been so awesome, HA Bumblebee is a great figure and i hope Barricade is just a nice when that comes out. it will be an awesome pair and im with yea on the price Megatron Wolf if it does go down to that price ill buy it

He sounds like my cousin, when he was younger.
Very bad camera work.
The deluxe is better, but I'll still pick it up.

Can't believe how much flack this kid is getting for his review...the price of being first I guess. Maybe just wait a couple weeks for Peaugh's review instead...

That review doesn't explain why he says HASS makes HABB seem like shit. It's too chubby, too short and has too much back kibble.
