The news so far, as announced on Twitter, will see the full US Marvel Transformers comics series, starting from February 23rd, 2018 for 2,560 yen (USD $23) and will include original Japanese commentaries plus a Marvel UK cover gallery, and some fan content, with the plan to release the full run depending on sales and interest. Like for the IDW material, these releases will also feature new cover art from Japanese creators, revealed through their Twitter account, so stay tuned for more!

I also preferred the old Marvel Comics compaired to the DW or IDW stuff. I still love the G1 Cartoon.
I was excited when IDW went to release a continuation of the old Marvel series, until I saw it. IT didn't really start with where the old series left off, and it seemed they mostly wanted to toss their own creations into that Universe. It was so disappointing.

Hero-X has now release the cover image on Twitter, with pre-orders starting on February 23rd, and the artist has taken to his own account to show some of the process for the cover artwork, featuring Optimus Prime, Megatron, and more characters from the Autobot and Decepticon factions. Check it all out below!
Good evening, Hero X. Thank you very much for waiting for a long time. February 23 (pre) released [Transformers Classics Vol. 1] cover illustration will be released! Mr. Oshima was in charge of the cover illustration
Mr. Oshima's ' Transformers Classics Vol. 1 ' cover illustration is so cool, I think I will make a post card of the purchase benefits. Details such as the name of the bookstore that will cooperate soon will be announced on the official website (soon to be published). Please check this Twitter for the meantime.

'Tis what happened in the fourth issue.Jack Hallows wrote:Wow is Prime getting his hand blown off? That’s pretty violent for a cover. I like it.

The cover art looks more like a traditional illustration for a "Ladybird" book, rather than a comic. However, it doesn't look like a Transformer illustration used in a Ladybird book, if anyone gets what I mean. Lots of browns make it look muted and old to me. Perhaps that was the intention?

It reminds me of that awesome poster that everyone had (except for me) in the 80's, you know that one with the big Decepticon symbol in the background.

Thanks for the info, I did not know about that sticker book, and the TFwiki says it was also released in the USA, guess I just missed it.
I do remember the sticker book made for Transformers The Movie though.

It was very expensive.
Basicall, sticker albums were the IAPs of their dy. Many albums were even given away free, like freemium games these days...

What we see in the images mirrored below is a re-offering of the cover art by Oshima Yuki for volume 1, as first seen here, along with the de-lettering and re-lettering and balloon placing process to adapt a Western script to Japanese conventions and words, and a sequence of original covers with commentary (though all in Japanese, so we currently have little idea of what is said - if you can read and translate, please let us know!). Check it all out below!

As you might remember, Hero-X is releasing the Japanese translation of the original Marvel Transformers comics, complete with Japanese commentary and covers done by Japanese artists. Volume 1 was released in February of this year, and if enough interest is shown, they will print the entire US run in Japanese.
This cover for Volume 2 was done by artist Ichikara Hirofumi, and is an homage to the famous scene where Megatron and Shockwave have their final battle for leadership. This new volume is expected to drop by the end of November.
Check out the cover below, and let us know what you think of it below!
