I cant believe they have the balls to call him a triple changer. Jet-walk mode (or whatever they call it) shouldnt count. Is Tracks a triple changer too because his car mode sprouts wings ? Get real.

surprised voyagers havent gone up to $25 yet, seriously what kid or parent is going to spend $15 on a deluxe when they can add $5 to it and get a voyager? Believe me im happy voyagers are staying at their normal price but hasbro is shooting themselves in the foot by not keeping deluxes cheap. But on topic im still torn on getting whirl or not, not really a fan of this figure but its cheaper than trying to get the G1 version. Might be one i just keep in the box to re-sell down the road.

Bummer... Whirl is in stock but Rhinox still is not. What gives Hasbro? I'm not paying premium shipping for one figure. The latest Generations wave does nothing for me even with the "tflegends15" 15% discount.

Also of note, all of the latest wave of Deluxes (Scoop, Skywarp, Minicons and Armada Starscream) are also in stock. When I checked a few days ago, it said they were 'Coming Soon' and would be shipping in mid-March.

Darn. I really don't want to visit their site until there's confirmation that HTS is clean. I don't recall there being a news post here about it, but Hasbro's main site was distributing malware attacks last month and I haven't seen any confirmation that the issue is sorted or if it affected HTS.

Although really, I doubt it got to HTS. Safety is just my primary concern.

Great, just got home from work and its already sold out. You would think with Hasbro's lack luster distribution lately they would at least be able to supply their own site with a decent supply. Here is hoping Amazon or someone gets it in stock for a decent price soon.

I found all four of the deluxes at Target this evening, and I still have to wait a month for them to ship from HTS.

I feel your pain, as I had the same experience the other night. I was tempted to pick them up anyway and cancel my HTS order, but the ones at Target were marked back up to $14.99. HTS gave me a 15% discount with the TFLEGENDS15 coupon code. Take heart, though. These deluxes might ship earlier if HTS gets their stock earlier than expected. It's happened with more than one of my orders with them.

That discount is exactly why I left them there, though my wife was in favor of buying them and cancelling the order, just so we wouldn't have to worry about the delivery date conflicting with our travel plans.

The good news is that Whirl shipped today!

You're gonna hate me, but...I gave in to temptation. Checked Target on my way home from work today, hoping to find Rhinox, but I found all four deluxes instead. I'm going to cancel the rest of my order once Whirl and Doubledealer arrive.

I must say, I love Armada Starscream. He's simple, yet elegant. The plastic feels nice and solid too.
Scoop is okay. His alt-mode fits together better than some people would have you believe. The Targetmaster partners are just kinda there, and they are neigh impossible to peg onto Scoop in vehicle mode. Either the pegs for the guns are too wide, or the holes in the vehicle are too narrow.
Skywarp is solid, as were the previous uses of the WfC/FoC Seeker mold.
The Mini-Con Assault Team is a disappointment. There are subtle nuances in the combination of the figures that the instructions, of course, fail to illustrate. Worse, it's rife with parts popping off if you look at them the wrong way, thanks to loose ball joints and shallow friction joints.

P.S.

Is Armada Starscream's head supposed to be sculpted with his chin slightly off center? It seems point a little to (his) right. I'm not sure if it was meant to look that way, like his face is naturally slightly contorted from the grim smirk he's wearing, or if my sample is just defective.
