Strike that, it won't let me reserve it until it's actually in stock.
Doh.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You can't reserve something until it's in stock? I think that's called "ordering."
I feel your pain, good sir.

I just placed an order for home delivery. I don't mind the extra charge, and I don't want to wait for it to appear in stock locally.

I don't actually have it in my hands yet, I've reserved it online so I'll make the trip out 2moro to pick it up.
I'll report back then on if the price is confirmed and whether or not it's in a Euro-box.

Dont know if I really want it or not given I have the Takara version but I have both Starscreams so might as well.

He does have those annoying catalogue code stickers on the side of the box, but as they are on part of the plastic, they shouldn't be too hard to remove.
Utter bargain, I just wonder why it didn't show up at Asda

I know what you mean, the Euro-boxes always look a little "cluttered". What I don't get is that if stuff has ben printed up in a Euro-box (such as the recent K-mart exclusive Mini-con 10pk for example) and Hasbro know they've printed it up in a Euro-box, presumably for Europe, is why they can't communicate as to what they intend to release here
A little off topic I know, but a valid point.

I think (and don't quote me on this) that the English only packaging tends to be US overstock, sourced away from Hasbro UK, as they are nearly always store-exclusives, I've never seen a "mass retail" figure in anything but a Euro-box.
I'm wondering if Hasbro UK ever intended for MP-Skywarp to come out over here or if retailers knowing that TF's are big business at the moment a looking for other channels of distribution:-?

But whatever, it's the bottom of the box so no one will ever see it but me. And after finally getting all "four" of the enormous stickers off the side of the box and cleaning up the sticky crap they leave behind, it's now sitting nicely in my display case.
I really need to get a new case because it's on the verge of overflowing.

Ravage XK wrote:I just reserved the last one at my local store. Have to go pick it up before the end of tomorrow (thursday). £44.99 is a fair price I think, shame it isnt included in the 25% off promo.
As it was £60 the other day it kindof IS! I only paid £45 or SS. As SW has come down I'm gonna have to buy this. This is strange as I normally hate the idea of buying duplicate molds.

I didnt see it at £60 and it doesnt have the little red save £ sign against it.
