War for Cybertron: SIEGE
Decepticons as revolutionaries, and Autobots as counter faction, taking over Cybertron - gritty, intense, taking the G1 characters like Hound, Chromia, Prowl, and add lots of firepower.

Micromasters confirmed as two packs, weaponized accesories as combination, plus articulation: Battle Patrol, Race Patrol, Rescue Patrol.

Yep, made to look more like an 80s boombox in alt mode!

That looks like Red Alert carrying a wounded Hound. I’m guessing a Sideswipe Redeco for him in a later wave.
That ship is definitely an Ark, but there’s precedent for using that as an Omega Supreme from Transformers Animated.
That looks like Ratchet in the background. That’d be an Ironhide redeco.

autobot00 wrote:Ironhide is TR Kup retool. Look at the windshield and how the legs form and where the arms are. totally a Kup retool but with a typical transformation.
Yep, this was confirmed as such in the panel.

Looks more to me like it's just Sideswipe carrying Hound.Bonfireben wrote:

This current Hasbro brand team in unabashedly in love with G1 that if they were to do Omega Supreme, they'd most likely just give him his G1 altmode. The Ark is pictured to show how this Siege line takes place before the Ark blasts off from Cybertron into space.Bonfireben wrote:That ship is definitely an Ark, but there’s precedent for using that as an Omega Supreme from Transformers Animated.

Yep, this was confirmed as such in the panel.
Looks like another case of "same transformation, different parts" like CW Silverbolt and PotP Hun-Gurrr.

We definitely get new tidbits like the combined mode of the micromasters who become targetmasters and we do hear confirmation that scale is a big factor in the Seige line. So this line is a fresh take and bos scale with one another in bot mode, like in the Studio Series line.
Enjoy the presentation and let us know other tidbits you gather!

Is that the film where Nicole Kidman plays Jyn Erso?

That was explicit in the design process, yes!

I noticed that too. No Cons at all. Siege should be over quickly with those numbers...

Has anyone explained the meaning of the title "Cyberverse" yet?
Posted by Sabrblade on July 21st, 2018 @ 5:01pm CDT
There probably isn't supposed to be any actual meaning behind it besides "it sounds cool" and "it's a name Hasbro already owns and can reuse again".Brokebot wrote:Has anyone explained the meaning of the title "Cyberverse" yet?
As best can be assumed, it probably just means "a universe with Cybertronians in it".

You sure act like it, Warden, you sure act like it. I'll believe him if the next trilogy after WfC, which starts on the Beast Wars 25th anniversary in 2022, is BW heavy.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing when he said that. As a big Beast Wars fan (though it started when I was an adult, I hope we do get a true anniversary.

Hasbro: "Alright guys, it's time for the fan vote for the next Titan class fig-"
Fans: "DINOBOT!"
....seriously though, why is the line called Generations again? The Prime Wars have been great, don't get me wrong, but I feel I'm starting to forget why they named it that in the first place...

I was born in 1998. My first figures were RID Prowl, Armada Delxue Prime, the RID Build Team, and Armada Powerlinx Cyclonus. The first TF show I saw was assorted episodes of the Unicron Trilogy shows, and my favorite TF show is a close struggle between Beast Wars and Animated. Technically, I'm part of the the next generation of fans, or at least the generation that would need to be introduced to G1. And yet, despite sitting here with Bruticus, Overlord, and Perceptor next to me, I'm already getting tired of Generations being almost exclusively G1, even when a good majority of the figures were characters I'd never owned a version of before, because it feels like it's all the design team wants to make right now.

This. Wholeheartedly. I want to see some new characters or completely new takes and drastic redesigns. Bring on Transtech!
