So good, he’s making a second appearance! Now that Halloween is behind him, Draculus is heading to shelves (as well as online) on November 28th. Parents check those at Target collector spot endcaps or check out our stories to bookmark the link for the restock coming this weekend.
This figure features details inspired by the 1931 Universal Pictures film, Dracula, including black and white deco inspired by the black and white movie release.
Here is an image of him being found at Target from @vicegripx along with a video review if you are still hesitating.

The post shows Hasbro talking about that specific date and Target.
Dont remember any other US brick and mortar store selling it, do you?

Thanks, but I don't use Instagram, so I wasn't aware of that. Did they give a reason in that post?
I thought it had been found at GameStop(?), but can't say for certain where exactly.. I was under the impression it was in the US, but not 100% sure

Hasbro's post is copy pasted entirely in the article so you can see what they wrote.
And it was not found in US Gamestops

Wow! Thanks for your completely useless responses then
Back to what I HAD originally asked: Is Target themselves street dating this? Meaning is the date completely up to Target, or does Hasbro (or others) dictate the date?

I'm thinking if I find him in stores, I'd better snag him just in case. I'm just not sure about trusting shipping right now.

Nice pictures. The Scourge claw hands really work well for him.

If you mean the pull out VHS tape portion, I don't think that was intended to pull all the way out. Instead I think you are intended to cut the tape on the other side and open it that way. There are flaps on the top and bottom of the VHS portion that catch on the outer sleeve preventing it anyone form pulling the VHS portion all the way out.

That I got, but even opening it that way is hard, and then getting the tray back in to close, my God it's a workout.

I did the same, and I don't normally regret Transformers purchases (or any purchases, but that's a long story), however I do sort of regret this one even at the deal I got on it. All that said, I love Transformers, and I love Dracula. So I bought him.
There's nothing wrong with the figure, I just can't work him into my 'head canon' which means I'd have to set him up in a different type of display.

Funny thing is, I would have been happy with him at retail price. I love this toy! They did a really nice job with the new look for the mold, and I am very happy with it. I don't know Dracula worth crap, but this has been a surprise sleeper for me

Shockwave created a spark programming machine that could pull figures from Earth media and create new cybertronians that took on some of the persona of the source figure. However, Shock discovered he couldn't control whether the new bot would become good or evil so he changed his selection over time. Ectotron, Gigawatt, X-Pants and JP-93 side with the Autobots while Rexy and Draculus side with the cons.
At least that's how I worked them in.

A headcanon suited for Draculus...a quick wiki search shows me the Ancient Decepticons from Transformers Cybertron and an ask vector Prime entry says "When asked why Transformers based on Dracula and other classic monsters exist, Vector Prime replied that they were seen as fearsome and potent alternate forms. Evidently, robot-Dracula is actually the alternate form of an unknown Cybertronian, not the real Dracula. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/06/10"
So Draculus could be an ancient Decepticon who landed on Earth and remade himself in Dracula's image in order to sow fear into humans. Maybe he even modified himself to suck Energon from living Cybertronians as a real Vampire would do.
If we're mixing our continuities we could say that a Decepticon landed on Earth and came into contact with Dark Energon, making him undead and changing the way he consumes Energon. From there he could have adopted the name Draculus for the previously stated reasons.

I think he's alright. Could they have done a better job? Yes. I think they either should have kept the Headmaster gimmick or allowed his heads to store in his torso. But I knew what he was before I opened him and I appreciate what he does. He has an excellent colour scheme in both modes. And he's very much Dracula and NOT Mindwipe. So I'm glad to have him as part of my growing crossover display.

I think the extend of the work they did on him, while not as dramatic as say Gigawatt is, was in the right spots. I don't feel Mindwipe here like you said, he truly feels different and more like his own thing, like this base mold was made for him and he only needed a few tweaks to be totally different

From the wiki: A materials error on the wings of the figure has caused many copies to crack and shatter along its wing hinges after some years, possibly due to the interaction of soft and hard plastic.

So I finally bought mine.
I've yet to transform him.
Toyhax has just crated a set of Reprolabels for him. The set looks bad-ass so I think I'll buy it. At 10$US, the stickers seems expensive, but it's standard fare.
(Left with Repros, right is the normal one.)

the decepticon symbol is done really well on the treads covering. Will deffinitely fit in as a dark energon miner or something for those not fussed about the monster mash up look.

They could provide 2 Titan Masters to make him got from human to Werewolf.
I wonder who they could use for the Mummy and the Creature?

Wouldn't a further retooled Buzzworthy Fangry make more sense as a Wolfman?
A HEAVILY retooled Siege Chromia would be a good base for the Mummy, the alt mode is basically a sarcophagus on wheels. Or maybe a Fosilizer? The last two we got were absolute disasters so I'd prefer they left those molds alone. Or wait, retool Shrapnel into a scarab! There's your answer!
The Creature, maybe retool one of the Selects Seacons? I'm thinking Skalor.

I can see Chromia as the Mummy, but the retool would need to be really heavy.
Fangry on the other hand does not strike me as a good Wolfman. The original was more Man than Wolf, and those scrawny chicken legs on Fangry simply don't work for me.
Creature I don't know, we have not had sea creatures since the Select Seasons, so yeah makes sense, but don't think Skalor works, I think Overbite works better with a retooled shark head. Though they would need to remove all the combiner bits.

I was thinking more werewolf than Universal Wolfman, but I guess that does miss the whole point.
I like Skalor just because his angler fish head already kinda looks like the Creature.

You mean Gill-Man? If you're going to shorten the Creature from the Black Lagoon, best to go with Gill-Man. Just saying "Creature" can cause a bit of confusion for people who've read the book for Frankenstein.Overcracker wrote:Oooohh interesting. does that mean we'll be getting TR Wolfwire for the Wolfman?

If we had a full-size Submarauder that would be an obvious choice for Gill-Man. As it is... I do feel like Skalor could be a good fit. If they're willing to dig out old molds, Energon Sharkticon could work.
Dunno how I feel about Impactor for Frankentron. It's not that he's bad, but perhaps one of the Weaponizers would have been more fitting?
The Mummy, now, that's a tough one. Is there a Modulator that could conceivably be reshelled as a sarcophagus?
