While nothing new is revealed, this is actually our first chance to see the finished look of all the figures since so far we were only shown digital renders and painted models. Galvatron, for instance, is no longer dark purple but instead more of a fushia grape flavour colour while the headmaster is not painted silver anymore. This video gives us a very good look at the new play value which is the selling point of this series. It also further confirms that any shot of Fort Max' base mode seen so far is accurate and not a mistransformation.
You can see the video by clicking on the picture below, enjoy!

I am really surprised the galvatron head is unpainted. But yes, I do still look forward to them.
Yeah, that image sort of confused me. IDK, I was just not expecting that. Even so, Headmasters! And I am excited for the baseformers too. Blaster and Fort Max for sure, Prime maybe. I'm still not completely sure, and considering there is that rumor of another voyager prime, I'm just not sure

Well that was a surprising well made video. Did a good job of getting me hyped for TR. Hasbro has been stepping up their media presence lately. With and instagram and snapchat account, before you know it their promotional and instruction images will be correctly transformedwilliam-james88 wrote:The official Transformers Facebook page has uploaded a new video advertising the new Titans Return line which they still claim will come out in fall 2016 (note: this is the date for predicted saturation, not when they will first be released).

Did you notice any mistransformations in the video? They really do look like they are stepping up their game.

Not a one that jumped out at me. It was all very quick, but I full screened it and pressed pause a lot. I'm considering trying to catch some screen shots, but not sure it's worth my trouble.william-james88 wrote:carytheone wrote:Well that was a surprising well made video. I'm 98% certain of no mistransformations. All seems good!

Is this rekindling some excitement for this line?

Is that better or worse than puce?
I think this was cool, especially how they emphasized Fort Max at the end. I may have to go back and watch it almost frame by frame to see if there are answers to some of my earlier questions...

But none of those were of the finished figure in plastic form. They were either painted or digital. We have yet to actually have an official image of galvatron that isn't a computer generated one. If you have one, please post it.
Also, here's another fun screenshot.

Well, he does the splits and then touches his knees, but he doesn't physically split in half; but, I'm down with that name

The helmet covers most the head. Only the eyes are really visible on him

Wolfman Jake wrote:That's disappointing with Galvatron. That purple color is...not good. The unpainted Titan Master partner is a bummer too. Looks like I will be getting the Takara version after all. It's not quite the right purple either, but it's closer, and it has some history, at the very least.
I'm not too worried about the head. The gray alone covers the Megatron look in both modes. As Galvatron, the color contrast will be added by the the face & crest piece.
Still a curious choice for the shade of purple. I wonder what the basis for it was.

Otherwise well done to hasbro for the video. Hopefully they up the ante on the marketing. I feel they don't get enough promotion or quality shop placements etc outside of the movies. Getting a feeling they're realising that ones like combiner wars and headmasters can appeal to kids more than say generations toys have in the past

This is true. It was newsed maybe 2 weeks ago and the responses were subpar. the greater amount of enthusiasm was for the hasbro guys this time so far. Takara chose a weird purple for Galvatron as well

It's called lilac, and it definitely doesn't fit any of his established personalities. TT uses it on their Galvatrons, and everyone collectively scratches their heads that TT is still going that route

I think this is the appropriate stance to take. Though, I must say that Galvy was the only one whose colors looked way off, everyone else looked pretty properly colored, this may be worrying

That's not entirely true, Galvatron's head and Squeezeplay's head were also off in paint and color respectively. I'm going to chalk it up to lighting for the time being.

Would you of been happy though if they had this as rodimus to be fair the colours are similar but they are supposed to be based off idw sentinel

He does often appear super light coloured in the cartoon:
And the colours chosen for the pic below are interesting. Takara is going for the colours on the left while Hasbro is going for the colours on the right which are not only of a more purple colour (away from blue) but also much brighter.
And here is a question, if the lighting is off in the video then why is there some dark purple plastic still showing on the toy?

Maybe one's painted plastic and the other is purple plastic? My question is, if they just made a galvatron, could they not simply secure the same plastic again for this figure?
And the show is more blue, whereas TT's is definitely soft lilac, liek pastel lilac, no where near similar to the show, I think we can all agree it's based off of the toy and it just doesn't work for Galvatron. My favorite deco's for him are still armada and energon, thye rocked
