To get Dragstrip to sit at the same height in leg mode as the Aerialbots, the rear wing of the alt mode actually swings up to reveal another hole to plug the foot piece into! Here's a pic I took of the difference. I'm sure this wasnt in the instruction book lol!!

SO they would just give you nothig more than your toy. And thus, at least with the cards, I felt I was getting a little extra and no one was cheated of anything.stupid cards

This is just some AoE Crosshairs stuff right here.
Awesome, thanks man!

I am actually excited about Menasor now, although i still think he is a bit too wide.
I hope Hasbro will give us the original members soon though, i don't dig Off-Road or Alpha Bravo.

I dont know if they are better, but they do seem to offer more variance between the characters. The aerialbots all suffer from being very similar transformers, but that was always the case.

I wouldn't loose all hope. Since the Fan Built Combiner is coming out in 2016 it isn't unreasonable to assume we'll continue to get combiners past Hasbro's use of the Combiner Wars label. Now that Hasbro has established a new combining system and they've proven their popularity I wouldn't be surprised if we got at least one new set every year for a while.

How do we know that this new combiner system is popular? Are there any sales figures in yet and does Hasbro share that info? I would say we'd have to wait for the first quarter 2015 stock report for any info.
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:that1guysittingthere wrote:Just wondering, has wave 2 trickled onto the shelves yet? Is it true that there have been sightings of Air Raid?
That would be really early, considering online stores only have pre-orders up.
Robot Kingdom had their pre-orders pushed back to February and BBTS has theirs listed for March.

The fact that the "in stocks" sold out over night on Amazon is a good indication.

Well, since Generations Thrilling 30 lasted from 2013 to 2014, maybe Generations Combiner Wars could last from this year into next year as well. The fan combiner could possibly come in its final or second-to-final wave.ZeroWolf wrote:I completely forgot about the fan made combiner. Hi, I am not sure if you know, but there is a specific review forum where people post their review videos. It's here and I recommend you put them there because that is the section fans will go to if they are looking for a specific review posted on this site. This is more of a thread to write about our opinions on news concerning the figures and what we make of it.

Plus, we'll have to live with the two for the time being. The names "Slingshot" and "Wildrider" can no longer be trademarked for the toys in the US. The substitute names "Quickslinger" and "Brake-Neck" have been used in other lines, but the latter is... lacking. TakaraTomy still has Slingshot's Japanese name, "Sling" as well as "Stunt Wildrider" so TakaraTomy could pull it off properly.

Positives, wave One and Two will have mostly new figures. So it will be easier on wave Two buyers to get wave Two toys. As there won't be any wave One in the cases.
Negatives I see, If stores skip out on wave One or a wave like they sometimes do. Or if buyers are not able to find a earlier wave. It will be harder for them to find previous wave toys in newer wave toys.
Think Wave One of Combiners Wars has the potential not be ordered that much by retailers. As studies show Retailers order less from January to March, Than they do from April to December.
Yeah I noticed CW Wave Two of Legends comes with Wave One Powerglides. Wish it came with Wave one Bombshell instead, As I want that toy more.
Guessing that CW wave One and Wave Two cases don't have duplicates. Because Hasbro might plan to do all those Masquerade and whatever recolors characters much later on.
CrankyOldTruck wrote:I feel sorry for the folks that have to depend on the Hasbro Toy Shop for their figures. I can pick up all but the Voyager class figures by hitting just a few stores within a 20 mile radius of my home. I've looked at all of the Legend and Deluxe figures in hand and I've been very impressed by what I've seen although Windcharger was underwhelming compared to his Reveal the Shield counterpart. I am, however, enjoying the hell out of my Bombshell figure and looking forward to picking up Thundercracker next. He's going to make a cool chest piece on any of the Combiner leaders in their combined form. This whole line is showing a lot of promise compared to previous lines but I'm still very disappointed that it's also going to be a worse haven for repaints than previous lines have been. That part truly sucks and it's for that aspect alone that I won't be buying a lot of these figures.
Newer Transformers toys are harder to find in my area stores. Do a lot of online Transformers toy shopping. Love HTS, fast shipping, nothing damaged, free shipping over $50.
Saw the pics of CW Thundercracker attached as a chest piece on CW Optimus. Does Thundercracker attach easily or is tape, glue or rubber bands needed.
Can CW Thundercracker also attach to silverbolts robot chest when in superion mode?
Am I right in guessing that G-1 Legends starscream's toy that was released years ago. Can also attach to CW optimus chest. As CW Thundercracker had no retooling done and is just a repaint of starscream?

That's tough to say since we don't know how much stock Amazon had in the first place? If they had only 10 figures each (gross exaggeration I know) those would definitely sell out.

A single, and relatively small toy line like Generations is probably not going to make much of an impact on a stock report. The local Walmarts finished their resets and the AOE section is still bigger than the Generations section (with no RID in sight).
I'm simply calling it popular based on the fan reaction. It's been incredibly positive for a line that has a way of dividing fans and the "gotta catch 'em all!" mentality of CW is a sure way to sell figures. From what I've heard people are experiencing some really fast sellouts when finding these in stores. Plus it sounds like Hasbro is giving this line an unprecedented international release, even ahead of North America so they're certainly aware of the line's potential to be big.
I just wish I could find them in stores already. Walmart probably wont get wave one and won't get anything new until April like last year. Target doesn't stock enough to keep the anything on the shelf this time of year. Kmart is Kmart.

Extremley. Other than the two things you mentioned, feet and wrists, they are as articulated as any Gen figure. More if we're talking about Skids. The hands and feet make sense and are excusable due to the combination aspect.Overall are those of you that have found them happy with them in hand regardless of these issues?

Possible Set #1
CW Optimus => Ultra Magnus
CW Blackjack => Rodimus
CW Brawl(?) => Perceptor
CW Alpha Bravo => Springer
CW Off Road => Kup
CW ??? => Arcee??? (Would make Rodimus look pretty wimpy...)
Possible Set #2
CW Optimus => Ultra Magnus
CW Blackjack => Rodimus
CW Brawl(?) => Perceptor
CW Alpha Bravo => Whirl
CW Deadend => Chromedome
CW Skydive => Cyclonus
I actually think a Lost Light combiner is fairly likely, since Ratchet, First Aid, and Tailgate are viable alternate components which we know will or do exist, and since we're still waiting to find out what Rung's alternate mode does!
