TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS DEVASTATOR (2)

Yeah, that would be funny for a little bit.... Then I would go on a hulk like rampage and destroy the hasbro offices....

Would you say that you would turn into a... Green Giant?

then again, a 2 foot tall Devy to fight my 2 foot tall Voltron would be kinda cool

Well, he is 6 guys into one as opposed to 5 guys, though I suppose you could accomplish something like that with 6 Deluxes.

It won't be that tall. "Size" classes are really price-points. Don't be fooled. Don't believe me? Stand one voyager atop another. It's nowhere near two feet tall.

No, the category is "S-Words", starring Eric Burden and War. Or maybe you're right, and it's a crossover weapon allowing the Rebels to sink my Scrabbleship.william-james88 wrote:Hasbro is making a STAR WARS WORD BLASTER?!?!?!?!?!
And since the 3rd Party pun-machine's on, speculation over this DEVY sure has driven us CRAZY over the past 24 hours.
(Ducks down, not having checked if someone already said that before this update)

I wonder if they consulted the fans on this project?

So just a bit taller than Energon Omega Supreme you think? Or probably the same size?

Yeah, I'm thinking right around there, which will be perfect. In the G1 cartoon, I always figured Omega Supreme to be the Autobots' answer to Devastator, not just because of that one episode, but because it made sense, since there was no counterpart combiner team to the Constructicons on the Autobots' side. The only bot big enough to go toe-to-toe with Devastator was Omega Supreme, before the Scramble City combiners were introduced.

I noticed that too, I think it might be a repaint/retool of some Star Wars role play blaster, like that Prime truck that turns into a fist holding a blaster.

After all TFC hercules also has Six Voyagers and is around 16 inches tall. So why wouldn't Titan Devastator with Six Similar voyagers also be a similar 16 to 18 inches tall.
Just because HasTak puts TF toys in huge boxes does not mean the toy inside is that size. Points to SDCC TF exclusives, Platinum TF toys, Botcon Exclusives gift sets, Hasbro MP TF TRU toys and so on.
Having TF toys with the same assortments names. Does not guarantee they will be the same size and price points.
Think the only real reason Titan Metroplex is 2 feet tall is because it has extremely long legs. Had the legs been regular sized, Think the robot mode would have been 18 inches tall.
Just don't think Hasbro is capable of creating a 2 foot tall Titan Devastator. With so many parts and pieces then turn around and only sell it for under $150. Think a height most are guessing Titan Devastator will be is 16 to 18 inches tall.
Titan Devastator is a CHUG toy not a MP TF toy. Ofcause it's going to be a kids toy. As CHUG is catered towards kids, teens and adults. Don't think many fans are expecting to get a MP Titan Devastator toy catered to adults under the CHUG banner.
While 3rd party TF gestalts like TFC Hercules and MT Green Giant might be impressive toys aimed at adults, many fans can't afford these.
more fans can afford the HasTak priced TF toys. Think Titan Devastator for it's low Hasbro USA Price will be a steal of a deal, worth every penny, won't break fans budgets and will be top notch high quality for what it cost and is composed of.

More on topic, Minicons? Excellent. I just hope they're not as big as the Centuritron guys and that there are several different teams. Then, I await the really arbitrary clear campaign releases of them from Takara

I had also found the centurion guys big but it turns out they go really well with the bigger toys from the unicron trilogy like Omega Supreme and Unicron.

But the listing clearly states "Generations" just like the emtroplex release did. And that was a new figure, not a rereleases of G1 metroplex.

We are way past that. Now we are worried that a generations devastator no longer assumes a new mold.

I love how paranoid this fandom can get so quickly. Anyone else think HasTak sits in their office with popcorn reading the forums just to watch us go insane?
Minicon Deployers: this is the RID15 line, so this is probably Drift and Fractyl's little dudes. If they're making a full subline out of it, I wonder who else will get minions? Maybe a to scaleish Fixit?

Rated X wrote:If Hasbro wants to target G1 fans who are mostly adults
Who ever said they did? Hasbro is primarily a children's toy company that makes toys targeted specially at children and young adults. They rarely create toys just for adult collectors. Masterpiece and the now defunct Reissues are the only toys they have ever released just for adults.
Devastator will be no exception, just like Metroplex. For as many 30 year old fanboys that buy one, five children will pick it up.
If you want companies that seek out that market you need to do business with 3rd party companies.

If not, then great. If so, then don't buy it. Buy a third party one to fit in with your geewun classics crap. Why does it matter? Hasbro is not releasing figures to appease middle aged toy collectors. They are selling toys to children. Awesome if what they make appeals to us. If not, then get over it. Our time is up. The eighties are long over. This isn't geewun. Its that simple.
There are WAYYYY more issues to worry about in this life other than fretting over what mold is used in a TOY.
(This is rhetorical. Not directed at William.)

Otherwise, I just hope it's a real set of contstructicons, not some crap like they pulled with movie Devy, where they were just combining vehicles with no robot modes. I would hope they wouldn't try that bull again, but...

Dont worry, I didnt take it the wrong way and I get your point of view. However, I would like to point out that since this is a transformers toy forum, fretting over what mold is used in a toy is kinda the point of a forum existing. I hang out here to give my two cents on my hopes and fears for this brand and it's figures I care for, knowing that once I click the exit button I go back to a world filled with poverty, terrorism and discrimination. Seibertron is a nice sanctuary for us fans and I dont find it fair to say we shouldnt be here doing what a forum is all about.
And as for this not being G1, I completely agree. Did you see how articulated this new Superion is?
