At this point last year, we had a very good idea at the entirety of the Power of the Primes line and due to all the listings found across various Amazon sites, it might be the same with Siege, at least for the Deluxe, Voyager and Leader Figures. We had newsed them as they came in but now we will list all the toys we know that are within the Siege line. This might not mean that this is the entirety for all classes, but it is all the listings out now for this one year line. The deluxe and voyagers output at least seems complete, as far as mainline toys go. Make of it what you will. The big entry here that people may have missed is a leader sized Optimus Prime that is slated for later in 2019.
You will notice that certain expected redecos are not listed, such as Skywarp, and the other Datsuns (Bluestreak and Smokescreen). Skywarp's current absence is reinforced by him not being present on the recent promotional material for the Decepticon releases. These may of course end up as exclusives, just like Ratchet is, or released in later lines within the War for Cybertron trilogy.

Just don't be PM Optimus again, not right now, we just had two of them.
Or heck, do something new.

It's hard to picture a Leader Optimus being anything other than a Voyager with a lot of armor after Ultra Magnus and Shockwave. It'll just be an expensive Optimus Prime. I'll be surprised if Leader Optimus isn't a repaint of UM's inner bot with new/retooled armor to get another use out of the mold. Maybe the trailer bits can make him look like the IDW Optimus Prime design.

I expect Prime will be, at least at base, an Ultra Magnus repaint/ retool. Whether he's a Powermaster figure I don't know. Given that Magnus has Car Robots inspiration (I've gotta use the Japan name now because RID could be the Anime I meant, or the comic or the cartoon) I kind of hope we'll get something more like that super Optimus, or Cybertron Optimus.

Also now that it's been suggested if they don't give us either a weaponiser, Micromaster or Battle Master Roller I may actually die of disappointment. That said if they do I may die of excitement.

In the early G1 episodes, much more is made of his trailer and Roller. Seeing as they're more concerned with scale this time, it seems weird that they'd make a huge OP.
They essentially did the same with Shockwave - let's be honest, he's just a voyager figure with extras.
EDIT - I see all of this has already been suggested in the Megatron gallery bit of the thread. I'll just sit quietly now.

I could imagine a slight retool of Magnus and his trailor such that the trailor is gray and more flat.
Seeing how UltraMagnus works, THIS is totally possible. Skipping the PMOP and going strait to Apex Armor, especially since the US did not get the previous Takara Release in normal wide release.

Weaponisers out of godbomber/roller would be awesome on fact they could probably combine the two ideas to get milage out of them. Plus the roller that came with ultra Magnus's diaclone predecessor transformed

So it could be a voyager prime with trailer that acts as a weaponiser / armour (which would suck a bit for those like me already ordered the voyager prime)
A repaint of Ultra Magnus with new armour
Or something else

Thouh it occured to me that Energon Prime would lend itself well to the gimmick if his drones were weaponizers.

That's a good idea (the one about the trailer holding the accessories) but then again so is the trailer unfolding to be a Micromasters

Here's a thought that just crossed my mind. I'm not sure a micromaster base or even just a weapons rack type of trailer could even work in Siege for a regular leader class release. Unless the trailer can partsform into some armor, I just don't see it fitting in the leader sized box and I'm certain that anything in a regular release is going to have to fit.
I mean, they can still plan out a base mode, but they would also need some type of other mode that would allow it to fit within the packaging.

I wouldn't even be buying Shockwave if Amazon didn't give me a courtesy credit regarding that CounterPunch pre-order debacle. Otherwise that Shockwave "armor" is NOT Leader class worthy.
That Seige UM is not replacing my CW version and the last thing I need is another OP especially if I'm buying this upcomming Voyager class one.
....There are so many characters that are Leader class worthy (Deathsaurus, Scorponok, Thunderclash, Star Saber, etc.) yet Hasbro continues to give us OP's.
If it is a Voyager OP that's finally getting a G1 trailer with Roller then why be so secretive about it... There's no way I'm buying another Voyager OP that might come with a trailer for Leader class price if I already grabbed the Voyager plus there's no other OP that I'm interested in.

To be fair, I think it's likely that scorpy will see a release as the the titan after omega since he's the last big guy to sort out (who we get for titans after that will be interesting to see)

There's no doubt that Titan Class Scorpy is coming after Omega but unlike all these OP's that Hasbro releases every year, I would buy both a Leader Class and Titan class Scorponok and this would've been the best time to release a Leader class instead of the 3 we're getting now (again Shocky should've been a Voyager). But whatever... If they still make their bottom line then go OP crazy. But it's not like John Wadren hasn't been acting like he's been listening to collect's demands during Comic Con panels lately.ZeroWolf wrote:YoungPrime wrote:Wow the Leader Class lines have been so disappointing the last 2 years...

I think we are pretty set on wreckers aside from Ironfist, with impactor coming later next year. I think Springer was chosen because they wanted another autobot for a voyager slot (since most are decepticons) and of all the voyager class toys one would need for this redo of G1, Gen Springer was both the oldest triplechanger left to redo and least true to his G1 look (boxy helicopter). Of course that also goes for Sandstorm but that character is much less famous. Basically, I think they wanted all their heavy hitters present in Siege.
Who else would you have picked to fill the vyager slot for an Autobot?

I would say zero chance since Takara already sold it once solo, and a second time packaged with Godbomber and the Cab/Minerva headmasters in addition to Hasbro's box set release.

Honestly Springer makes sense for the very reasons you outlined. The only other Autobot I can think of that would fit that size class and hasn't had a recent update would be Grapple, hardly a heavy hitter.
Although, this kind of points out the possible error in going so true to scale for robot modes. Leaders are shrinking in height, or are being regulated to Voyagers with extras, and you have a some size classes that are going to be dominated by 1 faction or the other.
While a generations Barricade based off his movie self is pretty cool, I have to think that it was likely the result of them trying to figure out how to get another Decepticon into the deluxe scale.

I am certain thats the case, plus with using an 'existing' mold. There are a few interviews out there with hasbro throughout the years where you see how important these more practical factors are in what you find in a wave/line like colour/faction variation, and fitting figures for a particular price point.

We get a very good look at the simplistic Magnus cab for isntance which seems to have as bad an alt mode as POTP Optimus' cab mode with exposed arms, hands and feet. Of course all this visible robot kibble dissapears from view when the trailer is attached. We also ge a very good look at Hound's alt boxy mode. We thank fellow Seibertronian Itscramtastic for letting us know of these.
The Siege line is currently hitting retail but we only have actual sightings for the Battle Masters so far so if you find any of these other toys at Walmart or Target or elsewhere, please let us know! And be sure to share any sighting in the sightings forum.

Between TRU closing, Hasbro being forced to release a bunch of employees, Leader class shrinking, and a lot of Walmarts not even carrying Leaders I'm not sure if we'll see another Titan after Scorponok assuming we get him at all. Hasbro seems to be having increasing trouble getting large Transformers into US retail and they aren't worth the risks.

Do you count specialty stores like Think Geek? And do you count Costco? There were titans at both those locations. I am unaware if Predaking was found at those.
Anyways, Enerje, while i see where you are coming from all the evidence presented is circumstantial. We can theorise, but I see no solid proof that Hasbro is abandoning Titans . I remember us bign concerned last year that there would be nothing after Predaking, but he is still being sold at the largest retailers in the US and Hasbro was happy to present us with Omega Supreme. It honestly seems like business as usual. Sure the channels of purchasing are changing but that is for retail as a whole and it doesnt mean there are less sales.

I think I count Think Geek, they're just not a big enough chain for me to even consider. I don't even think there are any around where I live, I've never been to one. Metroplex is the only one who showed up at Costco, which I never saw at the Costcos around me. They were at clearance prices so I'm not even sure if it was an actual regular Costco stocked item or they just bought palettes at discounted prices and blew them out. Either way, the point was that Walmart, Target and other non-Toys R Us big box stores didn't carry Titan Class figures in the first place.

I keep forgetting that they're supposed to have "Cybertronian" alt-molds. Because really, only Starscream and Shockwave look the part. Not that I mind!
That "hover" mode for Prime is funny.

Meanwhile Shockwave's is entirely unique (it might have V in the bottom still, hard to tell), resembling an atom since he's a scientist. The Decepticons seem to have a lot more variation in their symbols than the Autobots do.
Also, a better look at Cog's tells us that it really is a combination of the Deluxe and Battle Master symbols. Still no clear shot of the Micro Master symbols, but they do appear to be the same as the Battle Masters.
So here's the symbols we know along with possible/theoretical ranks. Curious if Leader class Optimus will have the same symbol as the Voyager or if they'll change up the top portion.
Autobot Leader
Autobot Commander
Autobot Soldier
Autobot Weaponizer
Autobot Battle Master/Micro Master(?)
Decepticon Leader
Decepticon Scientist
Decepticon Duocon
Decepticon Battle Master/Micro Master(?)
There's still a lot we haven't seen yet.

If it were business as usual then Hasbro wouldn't be laying off 10% of their work force (estimated between 500 and 600 employees) as a direct result of TRU closing in the US right before their busiest time of the year. For us it was just a matter of going somewhere else to buy the same things, but for Hasbro it's been a massive blow. Don't forget, all those Trypticons that were found at Ollie's for cheap came directly from Hasbro when TRU canceled their orders, coupled with all the other Hasbro stock found there. That's a huge hit for them to absorb, it isn't like when Amazon sells them for cheap at Christmas after Hasbro already got their money. Seeing as how you can still get super cheap Trypticons online it's easy to guess that Hasbro will have to greatly pull back the production numbers on Omega Supreme if they haven't already started doing so with Predaking. It wouldn't take much for the numbers to become unprofitable and Titans no longer being a thing in 2020.
Let's face it, Hasbro relies on the gullibility of retailers to keep buying these big ticket items in larger quantities than they can ever hope to possibly sell, and they've now lost the most gullible of all.
