The Official Transformers Collector's Club has been updated with our first look at the 2008 club exclusive figure Topspin, a repaint of the Energon Blackout/Stormcloud mold.
Here is TOPSPIN - the 2008 Transformers Collectors' Club FREE Membership Figure!
This is the FOURTH figure in the five figure Club Combiner series. Any Transformers Club member who's membership
is active by March 16, 2008 will receive this figure FREE in the late spring/early summer. If you join after that deadline,
you will be eligible for the 2009 figure and you may also purchase the previous four figures from the Transformers Club store.

The Energon choppers where pretty fun.
Glad I got them all the Combaticons(?) the first time around, it's the only Energon combiner set that I completed.

Looks okay but I’m generally not too big on this guys colors, does anyone else think he looks a lot like Energon Quickstrike in those colors?

Well that's a strange name. He bears absolutely no resemblance to G1 Topspin the Jumpstarter.
Still having both of the Energon repaints of this mold, I have to say, its one of the better combiner limb molds.
I specially like the Purple and Gray Color scheme of Energon Blackout.
I'm still curious as to who the final gestalt is going to be, and who they are going to use as the center piece for it with the new Head they have announced.
I think Barricade would look cool in translucent red.
So we have 2 Planes: Breakaway and Skyfall, a Tank: Landquake, and now a Helicopter: Topspin as the final limb.

I said it 2 months after I joined here and I'll say it once more. This collectors club and it's "perks" are still the biggest waste of money ever to be introduced to Transformers fans. In my opinion of course.

It's already been pretty much confirmed from images in the club comic that it is going to be Barricades body. What the resculpted head will look like is still anyones guess though.

I know some of you out there, enjoy it and use it. (though I can't figure out why. There aren't enough positives to outweigh the CRAP to make it worth it.) However, people enjoy what they enjoy, so far be it from me to deny you your piece of the action.

It was a Prime broken up for some yet undisclosed reason.
I've said it before, I'll say it again.
The Club is absolutely worth the minimal $40 a year.
I suppose you can't convince everyone and that's fine. The comics, the toy, the shipping for all that included in the price, and then the BotCon discount...you almost break even for what you get. Go to BotCon and you come out ahead in terms of Club costs.
Next year I'm going to have a very cool complete Club combiner.
Hard to believe it will have been five years at that point. I'm going to be dead sooner than I thought...

Yeah, if you think about how much some of us do spend, the club is worth it in my opinion. I save $$ on Botcon, all club exclusives, free combiner piece each year, and I do like the newsletter that we get. For those of us that do get a lot of the club toys, and go to the con, it's actually worth it and we save waaay more $$ then we would if we weren't in the club. I'm not a fan of the movie line, and the club toys are more to my liking. So for me, it's worth it every year. Not only that, but it's only $40. Depends on everyone's income, but that's really throwaway cash for me.
I can't believe that the combiner will be done in about a little more then a year too!!

I am surprised to see the "Movie line #1!!!!!" sentiments are still as strong as they were over the summer. Perhaps we will never be rid of others telling us our opinions are wrong because we don't share theirs.....
Anyway, Club member, never regretted it once, and Flux, fear not. Once the Club Seacons are released, all these people decrying the Club as a waste of money will be crying about why they either have to pay more for the Seacons or how unfair it is that they are not able to buy a set because they aren't Club members. Some assclowns never die.....they just still complain.

Didn't we get a pic of this in it's alt mode on the cover of Master Collector a month or two ago? I can't wait to see the actual photo. Anyway, I still need to get the other parts to this. I'm waiting to file my taxes.
Hopefully they will have the other toy exclusives available
so I can pick them all up and not pay more for shipping than
I have too.
The club's forums are a nice bonus thrown into the other benefits.
It is really laid back and there isn't so much complaining about
toys. It's just another reason to join the club.

Tru that!! It's waaaay more laid back and easier to talk sometimes without the arguements. Not as busy as other sites, but I think since we all pay to be there, there's a certain amount of respect for each other's opinion. Wish it as like that here sometimes, but you gotta let people be people. Who are you there? Beside Seibertron, I only post there. Occasionally, I'll make a post at tfw. I'm still Prime Evil at the club.

I don't have a lot of posts,
but there does seem to be way more respect for
members, probably because people have paid so
much to be a member. Most members I've ever seen on there
at a time is like 7.Which is odd. It is nice knowing what is going
on before other sites get to showcase certain TF features though .

I want to ask you guys... how rare are Botcon Tigatron and Waspinator "pre beast wars" form? I just found them at ebay... but I heard the 05' set were only 750 made... and these guys?

It has good things... no complains the Club, is OK... the main benefit is discounted toys for me... I saved lot of money this last year

So the torso is supposed to be Energon Barricade, right? I'm very interested to find out what the backstory is on this disassembled gestalt Prime. I think it's a fantastic idea if nothing else.
