Thanks to TFClub's
Taobao auction page, we've got our first look at an upcoming two pack for the Revenge of the Fallen toy line. This box set includes
Optimus Prime and
Bumblebee. Optimus Prime is unchanged from the first Revenge of the Fallen
Voyager release. The Bumblebee included is unchanged, as it is the 2007 Movie
Premium Bumblebee. Check out the two-pack and it's biography below.
BUMBLEBEE came to serve under OPTIMUS PRIME at a very young age, and he idolized the AUTOBOT commander. Years of working together have not diminished that regard at all. For his part, OPTIMUS PRIME didn't think much of the wisecracking young robot at first, but has come to respect BUMBLEBEE deeply. He knows that no soldier under his command is more brave, or more willing to make whatever sacrifices are necessary for victory.
It is unclear whether or not the box set is to be a store exclusive or a mass retail release, however all movie Voyager-Deluxe two packs have been exclusive to
Toys'R'Us.

Looks like Hasbro is cleaning out the cupboard.

Bleh...
At least change the colors, if even a little bit.
But, no.

Will you stop releasing the same damn things. Everyone who wanted those molds must surely have them by now. Why not re-release items that are harder to find like Universe Bruticus (in my part of the world) or something new like Seaspray. If I see one more movie Bumblebee before Transformers 3, my head will explode.

I think these will get a few more runs when the 3rd movie comes out.

Its the same gosh DAMN thing! what the hell are they smoking? This is the same over used crap from the first movie line! What in the name of ass is possesing them to keep blasting these things out of their @$$es every 2 months? Really? I mean atleast give us the new voyager Opimus and the BB that has the axe!

Let the line go already. Have mercy. This is going to continue all the way into the 3rd movie. Glad that I decided to not be a completist anymore and to select what I collect. I would be bankrupt by now.

If there going to keep reusing the same molds at least repaint them into new characters. I would've enjoyed seeing a ROTF Ultra Magnus or Motormaster

They are going to eventually let go of the Voyager Prime mold. I take it none of you are aware of the new Voyager mold of Optimus Prime due this year

Every time I see a new variant of that old TFTM Voyager Optimus mold, I am thankful that the only version I bought was the Robovision version.

Yeah, I've seen it. It looks really good for a Voyager, but I'm not going to get it, I have a large collection of Primes already, and in terms of movie based toys, my custom RoTF Leader Prime (with rifle
) is all I need.

No way Hasbro is dumb enough to try and pass this off as a new product... this will probably be a Costco/sam's club sorta thing.

Unless you're a completionist, why would this bother anyone? (Are there even any completionists left for the movie lines? I gotta imagine they've all bailed a LONG time ago!) I see no reason to get upset over something like this otherwise. No one is forcing you to buy it and there's not the slightest bit of temptation there might otherwise be if they did change something about it. It's the easiest pass there is.

I wouldn't mind this, there's a fair amount of people who missed out on both of these deco's, myself included.

Not on the shoulder, behind;

This actually involves a mistransformation (a common one at that). During normal transformation the front has the smokestacks pointing forward (the so-called "Attack Mode"), so when you move the front they end up pointing up. By not transforming the front at all, the smokestacks can be turned over the shoulder in robot mode.

Thanks for the input, but I don't see how they can be swung on this shoulders like the picture. It doesn't rotate that far

Again, leave the front
untransformed and rotate the smokestacks in the opposite direction, meaning under and over.
