First Look at Exclusive Blue Silverstreak in Buzzworthy Bumblebee Packaging

Nice! I was hoping that blue Bluestreak was coming along soon!

I think 20 years ago they had lost the Bluestreak name so for the G1 reissue and Alternators they used the name Silverstreak. It's nice to see it come back around.

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Nemesis Primal, we have news that the teased but never officially revealed Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Silverstreak figure has been found at US retail. Silverstreak is a repaint of the Transformers War for Cybertron Earthrise Bluestreak figure, in the original diaclone silver and blue color scheme. He has been teased and leaked, but so far he "officially" has not been revealed, but hopefully we will get a proper reveal with stock photos soon.

The Silverstreak shown below was found at a Target by Twitter user @Gei4Mei.

So with Silverstreak hitting the Targets, if you are in the US, head on out and start checking your Targets, looks like you might get lucky real soon. Let us know if you find one in the comments section below!

Glad to see he's not a red card exclusive as rumors suggested, but they really did just go "Well, we ran out of Bees, just throw whatever in", didn't they?

Wait, they call him Bluestreak with the Black and silver colorschem, and Silverstreak with the blue and silver? And he's released in the Bumblebee line?

But whatever, I love that design and color scheme to much to pass.

They call him Bluestreak with the black and silver color scheme because that was the name they chose for him in G1 (in reference to the expression "to talk a blue streak") and that was the Diaclone Fairlady color scheme the G1 cartoon used for him (whereas the toy used an adulterated all-silver version for whatever reason). Now, they may have meant to use the blue-sided scheme, since that would have added another layer to the name and it is the one featured in the catalog and his instructions, but they didn't. Despite many playground rumors to the contrary.

Calling him Silverstreak (originally a lawyer-friendly substitute name, akin to the likes of "Trailcutter") with the blue-sided color scheme is somebody's idea of a joke, and IMO it's a pretty hilarious. And it's not like it doesn't fit.

I'm familiar with where the Silverstreak name comes from, it's just wierd that that's the name they role with when they relese him with the blue paint job.

That's the whole joke of the name's use. They're using the opposite name for the opposite color scheme, on purpose, to make that joke.

While part of me agrees as I don't particularly care for Exclusives, that step does help in it not selling out as fast only to immediately be offered by the 3rd party sellers for double.

I hope it's like Origin Bee where it might be scarce in teh beginning it actually winds up being very plentiful later on.

Weeeell after some deep pondering I've decided to keep my Collector's Club Bluestreak as my Neo-G1 stand in. Yeah it sux that he is missing the door wings which was lame for that line but it's to the difference that I dig him so 'nuff said!

I checked tonight and didn't see him. My local store still has around a dozen Origin Bees and at least 6 SS86 Kup figures yet, plus the new BB Kup. Might be a bit before I see him

As far as I know, my Target has only had them the time I saw them. There were 3 of each based on 3 B-127’s. There were two of each of them, & I took one of each.
I go to Target a lot, & haven’t seen them since.
Not any B-127’s either.
Today there were 8-9 Origin Bee’s, & that was it for that line minus the Megatron multi-pack things… 6-7 of those.

I would’ve thought with the work they put into those repaints, they would be really plentiful.
But maybe not?

My area is different, but they are being bought. B-127 I see regularly, then Kup, almost never Cliffjumper. Based on the first time I saw them in on a shelf I'd say there's one Cliff to a case, 2 Kup , 3 B-127.

Is Silverstreak just his own solid case assortment like Origins Bumblebee? They must be a separate thing altogether from the Deluxe Class cases that are mostly Studio Series repaints? Also, Cliffjumper is definitely the rarest find right now. I only found one by asking a kind employee to check the stock room. I’ve never seen one on the pegs, but I’ve seen a few Kups and even more B-127s.

Speaking of Cliffy, did you already sell your ER Cliffjumper?

Congrats on finding Bulkhead! This is good news that these figures are showing up in stores...

I'm also wondering this... Like the others (CJ & Kup), I figured this guy would be relatively easy to find... Origins Bee has been basically overflowing in my area for a while now, so fingers crossed this means the same for Silverstreak.
I've decided I'll get him if I see him, especially since I'm not paying $40-$60 to get ER Sunstreaker from the aftermarket.

I'm just reporting what was there when I picked up mine. Somebody very well could have just bought Cliffjumper and left everything else, but there were 3 B-127s on that day. Could have been the leavings of a second case. Until I see them putting it out or seeing a case some way I wouldn't call it gospel.

I think you are both off a little bit, deluxes come 8 to a case, so the split is most likely 2, 3 and 3, we just don't know for sure who was shorted. My guess is on Cliff only being 2 per case, based on his lack of sightings.

Annnnd they're already up on eBay for $75+ Gotta love it.

Crazy thing, cliff and Bee went quickly, and now all that's left at my local target are 6 SS86BB Kups, alongside 4 of his retail release still.

I will check for Silverstreak again Friday

Yesterday they didn't have any of these.
Is there any chance a case is only 4 figures???
I know it's possible, but seems little unlikely that these same 4 figures all sold in under 24 hrs.
But I guess a case could be 4 Kups, 2 CJ's, and 2 B-127's.

I'll definitely be going back sooner than later to look for Silverstreak.

I might snag Silverstreak, might not.

I'll definitely snag Horri-Bull when he happens, as I'm sure he's going to in the wake of Fangry happening. He's a simple matter of giving the Skullcruncher mold a new beast head, hindlegs, and tail.

Yes, ER Sunstreaker reeeally needs a reissue. Which is why I say the Wheeljack and Cheetor repacks in Legacy are wastes of slots. Most people who want those two have them already and if they don't... those two are tolerably priced online. Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker OTOH...

Early on after the initial release I could’ve bought him on line…
But I was expecting to see him at least once in a store. Which never did happen
(Along with almost that entire wave… I saw Smokescreen once at Aldi).

I never saw it at retail, and it seemed to only last a very short time on Pulse because I was waiting on it until I could total enough to get free shipping and by the time that happened he was gone.

I totally expect a reissue at some point because this is Hasbro, but I'm a bit surprised at how long it's taking versus other quick repacks like Arcee!

It occurred to me a while back that it might be possible for HasTak to do a de-licensed reshell of JP93 as Armada Red Alert

I mean, if those are the options then I would probably say Velocitron (assuming there will be more than one wave of it, anyway), but honestly I would prefer Red Alert just a new mold in mainline Legacy. He shares a name with a G1 guy so he can bank in on the name recognition (and said G1 guy was an exclusive in his last appearance, so it's not like he was just on shelves), he was definitely one of the main characters of the trilogy seeing as how he was one of the few to actually get to be in more than one series/part, and I'm sure they could find someone he could share the mold with (obvious repaints like Cannonball, maybe retool into an RiD15 Strongarm?).

Yes I know Cannonball was a Cybertron Red Alert repaint and not an Armada one

Checked Target, no Silverstreak yet. But with the amount of Origin Bees that are around, it might be a while. There were also yet 2 more Kups compared to Tuesday, so I guess another wave came and the Bee and cliff were bought, or they were hidden somewhere

No case of 4 figures. I've seen a number of stores just put out 4 at a time for whatever reason, which might be what you saw.

FYI - Smokescreen was wave 2 with Allicon Arcee and Airwave. Wave 3 was Fasttrack, Runamuk, Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker.

Smokescreen was the only figure I saw from both waves 2 AND 3.

That may not mean anything. The store I found my Silverstreak at had a peg of 4 streaks and a separate peg of 4 origin Bees.

I've noticed over the last year or so that you usually find stuff in stores sooner than most of us do. I'm still looking for Buzzworthy Bluestreak,

My Target still doesn't have any of the new Buzzworthy stuff. Just some leftover Origin Bees, one Cyberverse Megatron with the helicopter armor, one Mega 1-Step Bumblebee from AOE, and one Bumblegrim crash combiner.

Though, I did find something I hadn't ever seen in stores: the big Cyberverse Volcanicus toy.

In my headcanon, Bluestreak becomes Silverstreak after the war is mainly over, having been damaged but repaired and gotten over his trauma from the destruction of Praxis. With a new lease on life and a new paint job, he re-dubs himself Silverstreak - a much more confident and slightly less talkative warrior and friend to Bumblebee.

Looks good, I can't wait to get him. Now that Skids is on the way, he's the only one I'm missing out of my '84-'85 Autobot lineup. Unfortunately my Target has no orders for new Buzzworthy figures for a couple of weeks.

Looks great! I don't know why I feel compelled to buy this one now after seeing it, I was perfectly content with passing on 5th repaint. I'm also curious why they keep using this mold with all the complaints people seem to have against it.
