Who needs hook hand when you can have facegun? I've already got ROTF Lockdown, but I'll get this one if he can pull off the facegun.

Nope it most definitely did not come from Singapore.
The booklet here did not even show wave 2
Came from Taiwan or Hong Kong or china's booklet.

That was my 1st thought as well. I doubt he's mistransformed, though, as that is the official promo shot from the package of another figure (it looks like).
And yes, he would make an awesome Rodimus repaint.

That is exactly what I was going to ask He looks decent, gun attaching to his face would be sweet and help the figure out.

Ha, Animated Lockdown is one of the best transformer toys out there, I doubt any toy from this line will beat it.

He looks... okay. His torso looks a little too muscular, but other than that, I'm sure he'll turn out alright. Though, if there's one thing he must have, it's this: weapon-face or bust! [-(
I'm sure some third party company (I'm looking at you, UFO and Fans Want It!) will make a hook accessory for Lockdown. It's almost precedence that it must happen.

Yeah... no. He's certainly not one of the best. There are much better figures out there. >:oP

In terms of design at that price point? If you dont mind sharing with me who those better figures are, I am all ears.

I think ROTF Lockdown beats Animated Lockdown, personally.

I do see where the toy is getting its inspiration but the result is a much wider figure. However, I will say that Human Alliance Jazz always looked wider in his photos and actually resulted to be sleeker in the end with a result similar to the one found in the first film.

Scorn is nice. Good figure, fun transformation. I'm fearful that paint on his tail will get gooey at some point.
Slug is pretty good too. He's all the better when you finally get those dino arms to lock into place in robot mode.
Crosshairs is one half of a future Boondocks Saints Transformers edition duo. TBH, I think he's my Classics G2 Drench. Now where are my G2 Autobot stickers...
I also got Leader Gridlock. He's better than you say he is, so shut it.
That's my story morning glory.

Glad I grabbed the figures online, because none of the stores around me did much stocking. Even the region's Targets are bone dry empty. It's ridiculous.
I agree with all of the above, I might add.
Megatron Wolf wrote:that actually doesnt look half bad, no way in hell id call it lockdown but looks like a pretty good transformer figure. I will wait til theres pictures of the back though cause a giant backpack or to much kibble can kill it.
I'm not sure why anyone would call this figure anything other than what it is: Lockdown. This is what he looks like in the film, he's most likely mistransformed here, plus what other TF line could he fit in and have a name? Seriously.
It's Lockdown. That's all there is to it. Rather than all of these complaints, I'd rather you guys and gals just didn't buy him and get over it.
More for people like me. People who appreciate these figures for being the awesomesauce that they are. And oh, are they ever.

well.. duh lol.
but right now targets are having a difficult time practically giving away their beast hunters left overs, which is leaving no room for anything new.. now.. TRU seems to be on the ball. .. once target and walmart get around to stocking their shelves, most people will have already picked up the figures that they want, which in turn will leave target with the same problem.. not being able to sell stuff.
it's a shame, i really like target. but they're dragging their heels.

My thoughts exactly. As cool as Lockdown looks in the movie, there's nothing that shows what he transforms into. No visible car parts whatsoever. To be honest, the only one I see in AOE that shows vehicle parts in there robot mode is Bumble Been in his 67' camaro mode.
Back on the topic of Deluxe Lockdown, its a shame that his toy figure doesn't match his movie version. On the plus side the vehicle mode looks great. Hopefully we'll get a leader class later this year that will give off a bit more detail.

Scorn is brilliant in all aspects. Love both modes and the transformation. Only nit to pick is the head - in bot mode he has "looking down syndrome".
Slag has limited posability, but is still cool. His biggest issue is his rubbery swords and the fact that there's nowhere to store them in alt mode except sticking straight out of his sides.
Crosshairs is good; better than the 2007 Movie cars, for sure. Like the basic, simple, old-school transformation.
Evasion Mode Prime is awesome. The cab transformation is a little tricky, but the bot mode is excellent. Great leg articulation makes up for the limited arm articulation. (What's with the weird fake elbows?)
Overall, I think these figures are better than what we were accustomed to in the original movie lines.

There are only a few toys for AoE I think I'm getting. I'll get the one-step Optimus because Optimus but the rest look awful. That's unfortunate.
This is my concern as well being in the engineering field. I love complicated but well done transformations and from what I've seen that seems to be lacking in every figure from this line. Actually, now that I think about it, DOTM had the same problem and I bought nothing from that line either.
