Does this mean there's going to be at least one headmaster figure? I really, really, really, really, really wanna see a new headmaster figure.

Yeah, at first when I heard it would be done by the guys that did Beast wars I had hope, should have known anything CN (AKA lame live-action network) lays a finger on gets screwed up.

I doubt ill like the new look. I hope the stories dont try to hard to be Beast Wars like Iv heard. Its a good idea to want to be as good as the best, but not to rip it off. Beast Wars Megatron was the only real plotter/mastermind to try and conquer. The rest relied on mindless destruction, and ultimate weapons. And Prime doubting his comand and not being like the other Optimuses makes him sound to be a copy Primal in red truck gear. Only time will tell

Well even though I don't care for the new design for the Transformers, it sounds like the show may be pretty good, at least for us G1 fans.

There are a few that interest me but unless they are done right and theres as little human interaction as possible(i highly doubt it) im going to hate this series more than armada.

Sounds like an awesome season awaits us. Can't wait for the Dinobots, especially Grimlock, to tear up the small screen again. It's been far too long.

The only thing missing for me is an appearance by Smokescreen, but beggers can't be choosers I guess. Besides, there's always season 2!

Sounds all good to me. Personally, I can't wait to see this new line of Transformers in action. This series has my interest more than Cybertron, Energon, Armada, RID, or Beast Machines ever did.

OH YEAH!!! This is so gonna be COOL!!! I can hardly wait for it to air. But these caught my attention:

Episode 8: Nanosec
Bumblebee's self-proclaimed title as "fastest thing on wheels" is threatened by Nanosec, a super speedster crook on a deadly mission that could destroy all of Detroit.

Oh no. Please don't tell me BB is gonna be the next Cheetor/Side Burn/Hot Shot character. That's Hot Rod's job, not Bumblebee's.

Episode 26: Black Friday
Blackarachnia enlists Prometheus Black - aka Meltdown - to aid her with a dangerous experiment, while Prime & Dinobot Grimlock are force to team up to stop them.

So, Prometheus Black and Meltdown are the same person? Better fix that on transformers.wikia.com

I'm 27. I grew up with Transformers, I have every episode damn near memorized, and to me, this looks like the best of all worlds. I have a feeling I'm going to love it. Because it's something I could sit down with a kid and watch, just like my dad sat down with me every Saturday morning. Transformers isn't for my generation anymore, and I can live with that. I've still got a six year old part of me that's cheering his heart out about this. ^_^

These plots sound so G1. You know, the corny situations where everything goes wrong for one team but ends up w/everyone laughing at the end. And of course, Megatron tries his grand master plan at the end of the season. If it's a good cliffhanger like BWS2, then I'll like it.
Re: Episode List Transformers Animated Released! (582347)
Posted by i_amtrunks on December 10th, 2007 @ 10:13pm CST
Headmaster is a human Villain, so you guys really do not want a figure of him...

Read all of these earlier, but I ams till impressed with the single self contained episodes, it will be a nice change in Transformers shows.

Episode 21: Velocity

Everything sounds Ok, but seeing it is going be interesting. I don't like the sound this one thoug:

Episode 15: Megatron Rising, Part One
Prime begins to doubt his leadership abilities as the Decepticons mobilize for a big invasion of Earth.

Another Hot Rod, Rodimus moment?

Anyway I can't wait to see this new Starscream, and the last episode sounds pretty cool. :)
Re: Episode List Transformers Animated Released! (582367)
Posted by Jaz-Zen on December 10th, 2007 @ 11:42pm CST
I agree with Dark Ops, I think this will be the best of all worlds. I've said from the very beginning that I think this show will be cool. It may not be as good as Beast Wars, but it damn well will be the best thing SINCE Beast Wars, that's for sure.

I can't wait to see Sentinel Prime and the Cybertronian Elite Guard, and I really hope we get toys for Sentinel & the Guard. :)

I think they all sound great. It sounds character driven, and more importantly, TRANSFORMERS driven. Every single episode has bots, is about bots- and no lame pee/masturbation jokes or insulting army subplots in sight. I can't wait for BA (:

My interest is further picqued! I would so like to see more Cons in there, since they appear to look the coolest (and they act pretty Con-ish too!)

Starscream is pretty G1 dead-on, I think! Yay!

Can't ever give Megs enough air-time!

Quite a few human foes, aren't there?

I had hopes that MAYBE, just MAYBE they could turn my hope for this series around... But then I was like "wait, Teen Titans guys AND Super Robot Monkey whatever are in cahoots?" and then had this post make my realization that this really is just aimed at li'l tykes more than anything and will probably suck for the rest of us (well, those of us who aren't blinded with fandom...)

Hey, while we're at it, lets make Unicron be a CITY eating moon and have Bulkhead make a lame line about going on diets *laugh track*

well maybe devastator will be a season 2 thing, or even maybe figure in megatron`s plan in the season finale as a surprise against the autobots.

Except there's like five minutes or so of footage to compare it to a series that ran 52 episodes, and all we have to go on for the bots is some figures and tech specs(which may actually be closer than they were in the past). Lockdown sounds awsome anyway.

I am intrigued by some of the episodes. Seems to be a fair share of "product placement/introduction" episodes(which could be good), but also a mix of single-shot or more story based episodes as well.

But a description can only tell you so much, I'm sure if you did a brief three-line description of say, Code of Hero, it wouldn't sound that great either.

As long as there is a nice mix of action and story, I think it'll be cool. After all, twenty-two minutes with at least half of that spent fighting, unless it's a "final or epic" battle doesn't really make for that great of an episode in my opinion, specially if the fighting is long and drawn out. Guess it's wait and see.

Posted by AngelMagnus on December 11th, 2007 @ 7:40am CST
Wow, this is incredibly... what's the word... boring.

Not the series, I mean the fan reaction.

If it wasn't for the maddening Christmas carols in the shops, I'd swear it was, like, 8 months ago and this was all about the lead-up to the Movie, because I'm having the biggest deja vu right here.

I'm seeing exactly the same stuff being posted here about Animated as there was back then. All you have to do is a a simple Find/Replace of "Michael Bay" for "CN", and you'll find most of the comments about how Transformers as a franchise is being ruined, about the new look, about the character choices, and about the good old days of [insert series here] will translate over pretty easily. And there's little doubt in my mind that the same thing would have happened with GF/Cybertron before that, and SL/Energon before THAT, and so on back throughout time. Dull.

From the looks of it, we're now up to Stage 4.

Call me when we're up to Stage 7.
