It's so weird that this line decided to randomly plonk in a couple Headmasters -- and weirder beyond that that they're the only ones from the line I'm particularly interested in. Weirdness galore!

Very cool. Despite some issues the TLK toyline has been easily my fave TF toyline since..well..AoE really. Now if the toy stores round here could realise there's more beyond Wave 1 that would be great.

for UK, Kapow has Cogman (or Gogman as they have him titled for some reason) for £27.99. Is he supposed to be a more expensive limited Deluxe like Hot Rod then?

Well Cogman is a headmaster even if he is not shown being so in the film (He is called one though) it just was cut for time just like a billion other things from the film, as for him using the same system as TR it's probably just so Hasbro can just use an existing system instead of making one of for just Cogman.

Only reason Nitro is one is probably so there is another figure in the line for Cogman to use and even then Nitro is not a headmaster he just uses the connection port.

And Nitro do have a TR compatible cockpit. So he should have been a headmaster as well, film canon be damned.

Cool as having a cockpit for the headmaster is - and that is in fact my favourite part of the titan master gimmick - I'm glad they took advantage of the Titan Masters not being a line-wide gimmick here to give us something a bit more unique from your typical headmaster in Nitro.

Really hoping some wave 1 stuff starts moving. The only things left from the line for me to get are wave 3, Cogman, and Hot Rod, and even then with wave 1 stuff still not moving from any nearby store, I am scared. I saw TFsource had Cogman up for preorder for $39.99, which is way too much, but I really want him and I am doubtful of him appearing near here.

For the record: Bumblebee, Cogman, Hot Rod, Dragonstorm, and the legion Hound and Dragonstorm are the only figures left I'd like

Went to a few stores in my area and it was mostly wave 1. The TRU near me got a nice restock but still flooded with Grimlocks. Wouldn't mind a w3 bee and hot rod myself.

Courtesy of Facebook page Autobase Aichi, we have two mirrored clips of adverts for Transformers: The Last Knight's 'simplified' toylines: the smaller, packed full of electronics Allspark Tech and Turbochangers - specifically, we're looking at the massive Mega One Step changer Dragonstorm. Check out both video ads below, and rejoice in the mouthful of a toy that the latter figure brings to the voiceover!

If you are a fan of Tiny Turbo Changers you will be happy to know that Target.com is selling Reveal the Shield Tiny Turbo Changers. This 3 pack features Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Steelbane. Each figure stands about 1.5 inches tall and has red reveal camo. The 8 revealer weapons included in the set uncover hidden images in their armor.

Hey All,

Newcomer here. I've recently won one of the Limited Edition Gold Chromed TLK Voyager Optimus Prime from a contest campaign here in Malaysia which was also posted here on Seibertron.com before;

If I may ask, what are your estimates on the market value for this one compared to the previous lucky draw figures you've seen before?

While I can't give you a certain value estimate, I can say welcome and congratulations! Quite the splash to be making for your first post, eh?

Checking eBay though and with my limited (heh) knowledge of limited editions and the like, it seems like it'd be worth a good many times the toy's regular value if kept in perfect condition. And then of course, the older a figure is the more it tends to become worth, so over time I wouldn't be surprised if the value only increased from here. But of course, the only value that really matters is how much it's worth to you, and if I were in your position I'd be very proud. That is one pretty Prime ;)

Many seem to be having difficulty finding the wave 2 deluxes from the movie in the US. Well, fellow Seibertronian MegaX Master has been finding them at Walmart in the US so those who have yet to see them should be seeing them soon. If you do find them in your area (or have seen them) please let other fans know in our sightings forum and sightings section.

I'm not too actively seeking these figs, but it's down right shameful how much wave 1 stuff is just, hangin' around. Both at Walmart and Target.

On the bright side, if they're shelfwarming, they should go down to decent prices eventually!

... instead of the Wave 3 stuff we'd love and want on sale.

This reminds me of when the AOE toyline came out. The shelfwarming around my area was so bad that it extended into CW, which didn't even get to saturate until around June thanks to all of the AOE stuff.

STILL nothing but Wave 1 TLK and Wave 3 Titans Return at my nearest Toys R Us/The Entertainer in Cambridge, England. Argos still the only place that had Wave 2 figures (and even then they have Drift misnamed as Sideswipe in the catalogue). Good thing I already got Deluxe Sqweeks and voyager Megatron from other sources many, many months ago now or I'd really be pissed off.
And still only wave 1 Tiny Turbo Changers. I want tiny Sqweeks from Wave 2 dammit.

I never saw Leader class CW at Target because the shelf was stuffed with AOE leader grimlock. Who knows if I will ever see Voyager nitro because it is stuffed with TLK Voyager grimlock.

Oh man that Scorponok wave. I dont know why that one is so resilient but I still see it at my TRUs, even though they have moved past onto later waves.

Well good luck to you all on your TLK hunts!

For some reason I can't explain, I'm really fond of my AOE Leader Prime. That TLK one looks like unpainted crap, though. Why can't Hasbro be the hero for once and import Callibur Prime, if not for my sake, then for my wallet's?

Probably because of all the people hatin' on the movie over here. Why sell the good stuff here when all the movie money is being made overseas?

If you really want a Calibur Optimus, order one from Hobby Link Japan. It cost me $72.88, about $20 more than buying Leader Optimus locally after tax, and he came with an extra gold-plated shield in the box that's running $40.00 separate elsewhere.

Wave one deluxes are still shelfwarming all the stores in my area too. And that's with all the Walmarts selling them for $15 and change since they put them on the pegs. They were NEVER the full $20 there as far as I've seen and they just aren't selling quickly. I could understand Toys R Us and Target having problems selling them since they all have them at the $20 but at $15, you'd think they'd be selling faster.

Checked yesterday, and we are still at wave 1 with the toyline. That wave, they so screwed up. Barricade is the only figure I have seen consistently move, and slash and grimlock the 2 who consistently won't.

On the plus side, I received a nice package from Canada from a certain James of William, and it had a Sqweeks and deluxe Megatron in it.

Megs is alright. I never had the mold, so this is my first go, and I am amazed at how tiny it is compared to the other deluxes. Reminds me of the poor 2013 days.

Sqweeks however is an absolute joy. this little guy may not move much, but he has so much playability. I love him! he's cute and fun and has lots of cool things to mess around with

yeah, even though Sqweeks is technically smaller I felt he was the best bang for my buck amongst all movie deluxes so far. And yes, Deluxe Megatron is small and the mold is from 2013  I really dont like that era of Transformers due to how cheap the figures felt. Hence why I was baffled when people preffered the Club Krok over the TR Krok. Why spend something like 40$ for this mold when you could get the TR one, which is bigger and feels more solid (and cheaper of course).

I will give that mold and other molds from that era some credit though, it has a nice complexity. More complex than every movie deluxe released I feel (and more complex than the TR deluxes). Its odd but transfomrers have this 3 pillar system of Feeling Solid, Being Complex, and Being Low Price that are hard to always obtain. I can only think of a handful like that (HFTD Leader Starscream, ROTF Bludgeon and a few Animated toys come to mind).

So yeah, the mold definitely has its weaknesses but it is still better than other deluxes of that time, like FOC Shockwave which has the same small stature and felt even cheaper and had a super simple transformation. I am glad we are far away from that era.

And plus I really really love that headsculpt on deluxe megs, a fun mix of styles which I feel works with this toy. I am happy to own it.

I'll use Will Holy Trinity, Meaning Quality, size, and price.

The WORST deluxe I ever had (and still have) is definitely FOC Jazz. Tiny, gapy, feel cheap as fak, with almost clear white plastics, and come with a ridiculously tiny gun. Plus almost no paint. That toy was almost like rubbery at gun point.

Best deluxe is without contest HFTD Battle Blades Bumblebee. Huge, solid, masterfully painted, and loaded with non-intrusive gimmicks. No wonder Takara reissued it as a "voyager".

Ok so through coupons and deals I got these 4 toys because it worked out that getting more was more worth it. These 4 are not my favourites though and will be exchanging 2 for wave 3 deluxes when they arrive. But I ont know which 2 to keep and which 2 to eventually exchange for toys I know I want more (new Bee and Crosshairs). So from your experiences with these, guys, let me know which 2 are the better of the 4:

I can't speak from experience on any of these exact toys, but I'd advocate for keeping Barricade and Steelbane (especially if you've already got a version of the other two from AoE). Consensus on Barricade seems to be that he's good if small; Steelbane seems to be decent with a few design flaws, but his main problem is loose joints which are of course fixable. Meanwhile I haven't heard anything about the Bumblebee aside from the fact that there are variants with more/less paint, and from my own experience with the AoE Deluxe Drift he's probably one of my most regretted TF purchases overall. Just my two cents obviously - you'd most certainly be better off with advice from people with these exact figures - but at the very least I'd strongly advocate for not keeping Drift, if my feelings on his base-tooling from the previous movie are anything to go by.

The Target Exclusive 3-pack of Tiny Turbo Changers, consisting of Optimus Prime, Steelbane, and Bumblebee has been sighted at a Target near downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, by yours truly. Hopefully, (especially for fans of the Tiny Turbo Changers line) these will be showing up at a Target near you soon! Happy Hunting!

Didn't you already have that Drift and Barricade? If yes, exchange them, if not, they're keepers. One thing for sure is that Bee gotta go. One thing for sure is you have to keep Barricade if you don't have it. He's a classic figure lost in a Movie line and I like it. I hope you'll too.

As for Steelbane, if you have the patience to use Pledge floor Finish, you have something that still look awesome and is interesting. I'd keep it.

Thanks for the feedback, thats what I will do. And yes I did have those 2 but I returned them to walmart since I thought they sucked and I was waiting to see if they would issue box sets with beter paint apps like last time. But since its not the case, I got them again because of the deal with the coupons.

Do any of the fans here live in San Jose, CA? Because this is where the latest deluxes from Transformers: The Last Knight. At the Walmart on Story Rd, to be more precise. These are the wave 3 deluxes which include a new Bumblebee and practically new Crosshairs, a redeco of Strafe and a rerelease of the Drift toy that came in wave 2. Cogman is not part of this wave. For those who are not in the area, this wave is now available for preorder at BBTS, confirming the case content just described.
These were found by a cousin of TFW2005 user Gallade.

Good luck with the hunt!

Will, Barricade is the best of that group by far. Great figure, you've heard all my praise for him. Keep him for sure.

As for the others, return the Bee. the other 2, I have no interest in getting, so I don't have them in any capacity, so I cannot really speak for them.

However, I will say this about a different set of movie figures: the wave 3 voyagers are the best of the best. Scorn is my favorite dinobot mold of any dinobot ever. He is a great figure, large, heavy, transformation is fun, posable, and extremely well painted. He feels like such a great mold, and he is so pleasing to both look at and play with.

Nitro Zeus is my favorite figure of the year, period. I have had him for a few weeks, and he is still an absolute joy. He is so much fun and so playable! The transformation is cool, pretty complex, but yet easy once you do it once or twice. The jet mode is delicious, and the robot mode is awesome. Couple that with the titan master compatibility, and you have an all around awesome figure. He will be figure of the year for me, and he is my favorite movie decepticon ever and right up there in contention for best movie figure period.

I'm just glad I got them from tfsource. You will need to talk about both once you get them. they are amongst the best voyagers to come out in the movie lines and over the past several years in general. you gotta find yourself a legion Crosshair too, so you can have him riding his big buddy
