for UK, Kapow has Cogman (or Gogman as they have him titled for some reason) for £27.99. Is he supposed to be a more expensive limited Deluxe like Hot Rod then?

Pretty sure it's just price gouging for the impatient customer.

Well Cogman is a headmaster even if he is not shown being so in the film (He is called one though) it just was cut for time just like a billion other things from the film, as for him using the same system as TR it's probably just so Hasbro can just use an existing system instead of making one of for just Cogman.
Only reason Nitro is one is probably so there is another figure in the line for Cogman to use and even then Nitro is not a headmaster he just uses the connection port.

Newcomer here. I've recently won one of the Limited Edition Gold Chromed TLK Voyager Optimus Prime from a contest campaign here in Malaysia which was also posted here on Seibertron.com before;

If I may ask, what are your estimates on the market value for this one compared to the previous lucky draw figures you've seen before?

While I can't give you a certain value estimate, I can say welcome and congratulations! Quite the splash to be making for your first post, eh?
Checking eBay though and with my limited (heh) knowledge of limited editions and the like, it seems like it'd be worth a good many times the toy's regular value if kept in perfect condition. And then of course, the older a figure is the more it tends to become worth, so over time I wouldn't be surprised if the value only increased from here. But of course, the only value that really matters is how much it's worth to you, and if I were in your position I'd be very proud. That is one pretty Prime

Nothing but wave 1 figures shelfwarming ALL of the Walmarts, Targets, and TRU's in my area. Haven't seen any other waves at all.

This reminds me of when the AOE toyline came out. The shelfwarming around my area was so bad that it extended into CW, which didn't even get to saturate until around June thanks to all of the AOE stuff.Cobotron wrote:I'm not too actively seeking these figs, but it's down right shameful how much wave 1 stuff is just, hangin' around. And still only wave 1 Tiny Turbo Changers. I want tiny Sqweeks from Wave 2 dammit.

I never saw Leader class CW at Target because the shelf was stuffed with AOE leader grimlock. Who knows if I will ever see Voyager nitro because it is stuffed with TLK Voyager grimlock.

Oh man that Scorponok wave. I dont know why that one is so resilient but I still see it at my TRUs, even though they have moved past onto later waves.
Well good luck to you all on your TLK hunts!

For some reason I can't explain, I'm really fond of my AOE Leader Prime. That TLK one looks like unpainted crap, though. Why can't Hasbro be the hero for once and import Callibur Prime, if not for my sake, then for my wallet's?
Posted by EunuchRon on August 29th, 2017 @ 3:00pm CDT
If you really want a Calibur Optimus, order one from Hobby Link Japan. It cost me $72.88, about $20 more than buying Leader Optimus locally after tax, and he came with an extra gold-plated shield in the box that's running $40.00 separate elsewhere.

I'm with Shajaki on this one, my target takes forever to get anything new so seeing wave 2 is news for me.

On the plus side, I received a nice package from Canada from a certain James of William, and it had a Sqweeks and deluxe Megatron in it.
Megs is alright. I never had the mold, so this is my first go, and I am amazed at how tiny it is compared to the other deluxes. Reminds me of the poor 2013 days.
Sqweeks however is an absolute joy. this little guy may not move much, but he has so much playability. I love him! he's cute and fun and has lots of cool things to mess around with

yeah, even though Sqweeks is technically smaller I felt he was the best bang for my buck amongst all movie deluxes so far. And yes, Deluxe Megatron is small and the mold is from 2013 I really dont like that era of Transformers due to how cheap the figures felt. Hence why I was baffled when people preffered the Club Krok over the TR Krok. Why spend something like 40$ for this mold when you could get the TR one, which is bigger and feels more solid (and cheaper of course).
I will give that mold and other molds from that era some credit though, it has a nice complexity. More complex than every movie deluxe released I feel (and more complex than the TR deluxes). Its odd but transfomrers have this 3 pillar system of Feeling Solid, Being Complex, and Being Low Price that are hard to always obtain. I can only think of a handful like that (HFTD Leader Starscream, ROTF Bludgeon and a few Animated toys come to mind).
So yeah, the mold definitely has its weaknesses but it is still better than other deluxes of that time, like FOC Shockwave which has the same small stature and felt even cheaper and had a super simple transformation. I am glad we are far away from that era.
And plus I really really love that headsculpt on deluxe megs, a fun mix of styles which I feel works with this toy. I am happy to own it.

The WORST deluxe I ever had (and still have) is definitely FOC Jazz. Tiny, gapy, feel cheap as fak, with almost clear white plastics, and come with a ridiculously tiny gun. Plus almost no paint. That toy was almost like rubbery at gun point.
Best deluxe is without contest HFTD Battle Blades Bumblebee. Huge, solid, masterfully painted, and loaded with non-intrusive gimmicks. No wonder Takara reissued it as a "voyager".

william-james88 wrote:Ok so through coupons and deals I got these 4 toys because it worked out that getting more was more worth it. These 4 are not my favourites though and will be exchanging 2 for wave 3 deluxes when they arrive. But I ont know which 2 to keep and which 2 to eventually exchange for toys I know I want more (new Bee and Crosshairs). So from your experiences with these, guys, let me know which 2 are the better of the 4:
I can't speak from experience on any of these exact toys, but I'd advocate for keeping Barricade and Steelbane (especially if you've already got a version of the other two from AoE). Consensus on Barricade seems to be that he's good if small; Steelbane seems to be decent with a few design flaws, but his main problem is loose joints which are of course fixable. Meanwhile I haven't heard anything about the Bumblebee aside from the fact that there are variants with more/less paint, and from my own experience with the AoE Deluxe Drift he's probably one of my most regretted TF purchases overall. Just my two cents obviously - you'd most certainly be better off with advice from people with these exact figures - but at the very least I'd strongly advocate for not keeping Drift, if my feelings on his base-tooling from the previous movie are anything to go by.

Didn't you already have that Drift and Barricade? If yes, exchange them, if not, they're keepers. One thing for sure is that Bee gotta go. One thing for sure is you have to keep Barricade if you don't have it. He's a classic figure lost in a Movie line and I like it. I hope you'll too.
As for Steelbane, if you have the patience to use Pledge floor Finish, you have something that still look awesome and is interesting. I'd keep it.

Thanks for the feedback, thats what I will do. And yes I did have those 2 but I returned them to walmart since I thought they sucked and I was waiting to see if they would issue box sets with beter paint apps like last time. But since its not the case, I got them again because of the deal with the coupons.

As for the others, return the Bee. the other 2, I have no interest in getting, so I don't have them in any capacity, so I cannot really speak for them.
However, I will say this about a different set of movie figures: the wave 3 voyagers are the best of the best. Scorn is my favorite dinobot mold of any dinobot ever. He is a great figure, large, heavy, transformation is fun, posable, and extremely well painted. He feels like such a great mold, and he is so pleasing to both look at and play with.
Nitro Zeus is my favorite figure of the year, period. I have had him for a few weeks, and he is still an absolute joy. He is so much fun and so playable! The transformation is cool, pretty complex, but yet easy once you do it once or twice. The jet mode is delicious, and the robot mode is awesome. Couple that with the titan master compatibility, and you have an all around awesome figure. He will be figure of the year for me, and he is my favorite movie decepticon ever and right up there in contention for best movie figure period.

I'm just glad I got them from tfsource. You will need to talk about both once you get them. they are amongst the best voyagers to come out in the movie lines and over the past several years in general. you gotta find yourself a legion Crosshair too, so you can have him riding his big buddy
