headsortails wrote:Well Merry Christmas to me. Can't wait to see the aggravation in my wife when I show her this. Well, she may not be too bad on this one. She said she used her brother's Devastator for a husband to Barbie once (she also liked the color scheme). I may have to get her a Barbie so she can rein-act her play time she had. It will be worth it, though....
There's your next Human Alliance figure, Devastator with Ken!

However it's a bit steep and am glad I found. Very cheap knock off a while back that cost less than ten dollars and looks ok on display. Obviously quality and safety are nothin like thee original but I will live with it as my original figures ended up with the hip connectors broke etc
Like most I think we r gluttons for new nostalgic releases and will happily enjoy both the g1 reissues and the modern interpretations
Keep bringing them on

Thank goodness he's priced like Bruticus and not like Predaking! does this mean Menasor is the only Decepticon combiner yet to be reissued?

Also BBTS allows you to cancel your pre-order should you change your mind. I like to shop at places that give buyers some flexibility.

This right here, is why I like you all. Even though I have Monstructor and am very pleased to, I simply forget him because of the size. G1 gestalts have a certain size frame they all generally fit except for him. We're all forgetting Road Caesar too.

And don't forget Landcross! Also Sixwing, Sixbuilder, Sixturbo, Raiden... oh, and if we're counting Battle Gaia, we have to add Guard City
Back on topic, I'm really glad I waited on getting a G1 set. This will look fantastic next to my yellow and orange versions

Don't forget they've been "enhancing" their reissues, who knows what we'll get.

Of course, I'm not getting one, but its great news all the same.
I predict a sudden launch of Crazy Devi complete set.

So where has the Encore mold come from? Now that we have Devastator, does that mean we'll be getting the others reissued to?

This is exactly what I was thinking and am curious about. Although I doubt it'll be much more than minor cosmetic changes in paint and possibly a new face. I have my fingers crossed for e-hobby Diaclone colors, TFCC Shattered Glass Constructicons and more as well.

Same. I only started collecting tfs after the 07 movie... the closest i got to a G1 memory was in the start of 2007 when my local kids TV channel re-aired G1 and i watched the jetfire episode for 5 seconds and saw jetfire flying with spike shouting "Go jetfire". I went "Fk this i hate robots an humans" and turned off the TV

More like OS, which stands for Omega Supreme. Both Omega Supreme and Sky Lynx were owned by a company other than Takara and Hasbro. Fortunately, it was revealed that Tomy has commissioned these two toys to be made, and with the merger, they became accessible for Takara.

Yeah lol... os was one of the best encores... well i only own OS and SL
Posted by fenrir72 on June 20th, 2011 @ 12:02pm CDT
TomyTakara should take their time this time, not rush the production of Devastar and make sure QC is at least 90% perfect.
I for one would be willing to wait until Christmas if only that QC would be a thing of the past like that of Encore Bruticus
You'd expect at least, being a well used mold, Bruticus would have been well maintained. (Maybe it was subcontracted to save on costs? Because OS and SL were high QC re-issues. I bend my knees and pray that this isn't G2 Devastator redux (that too had really shitty quality))
Posted by REMINATOR on June 20th, 2011 @ 1:05pm CDT
Encore Omega and Skylynx on the other hand, were great. So if Encore Devastator QC is the same as OS/SL, I'm very happy. Hopefully, there's no modification. I just want it to be like the original.

I must've been lucky as my Encore Bruticus was fine; better than the desert redeco that was released in the Universe line.
