I wonder if they are going to work that Mechtech stuff into the plot of the movie, or just new weapons in general... As for Megatron and Prime, they look like good figures, but they are seriously lacking in paint detail.
If this is any indication it may actually be in the movie.

Wow! That looks pretty weird! While it really reminds me of Vigilante 8, which was a great game, I'm not sure how it would work in "real life." I'm interested to see how the movie justifies the new weapons.

Did you just pick a random thread in which you have nothing to say about the topic to post this in as opposed to the Reveal the Shield "generation/classics" haul thread? Just seems like an odd thread choice but congrats on the find.

we can only hope & wait that movie doesnt have this that its hasbro idea of making new figures for the third film for mechtech weapons that they couldnt come with any new ideas for toys them selves.
toy itself like the legs, & head everything else sucks deluxe ironhide i like more than previous ironhide voyager class big freaking guns this toy line will ruin it what do i care save me alot of money on gernations & reveal the shield line

As far as the side conversation about the mech tech in the movie: I will not judge the movie based on the figures. If the mech tech is in the movies, I'm not too worried about it. A huge budget movie will be able to pull off the concept better than a deluxe or voyager class toy would. If they aren't in the movie, then so be it. Regarding the people wondering how the script of the movie justifies the new weapons, it is a movie about giant alien robots who change their forms at will. We don't need to justify why robots have saliva, need gold teeth,"get old" and need a cane to walk around or about a thousand other things combined between the first two movies but the new guns that they carry we need to justify??

Again (I will be saying this after every toy review) I hate those mechtech peg holes. If they feel the need to throw a giant piece of plastic in there shaped like a gun... *fine.. it will end up in the closet with my humans (&Frenzy) form the Human Alliance line, but leaving the vehicle mode with giant peg holes...

Reason #1 - I have not seen any pictures of his vehicle mode in Chicage (the site in which the major climatic final battle is suppose to take place).
Reason #2 - Michael Bay wants a darker more serious tone in this movie.
Reason #3 - The GMC Topkick is no longer being produced. So you know Chevy certainly wont care.
But thats ok, because they are gonna bring Bulkhead in for movie #4!!
