Another day another rumour. This time we have received an e-mail from "Sixshot" telling us the following:

(enclosed is a leaked press release found on Dark Horse's website)

Dark Horse signs Transformers license.
April 4, 2005

The Washington-based comics publisher has aquired the comic book rights to the world-famous TransformersTM franchise.

Dark Horse will publish two different TransformersTM comics, based on various aspects of the twenty-plus-year old brand.

TransformersTM: Generation One will launch this Fall as an ongoing
monthly series. TransformersTM CybertronR will debut this Summer as a series of quarterly manga digests.

Needless to say, with nothing to back it up , we should take this with a whole bucket of salt.
