Cyberverse Energon Driller with Bumblebee Sighted at ROSS

On a tip from Seibertron member Primeultimus, our own Seibertron visited his local ROSS store in Mount Prospect, IL to confirm that they are indeed selling the Beast Hunters Cyberverse Energon Driller with Bumblebee. As you can see in the picture below, he did find the Energon Driller at ROSS, despite our having never seen any of the Beast Hunters Cyberverse toys show up in the US before. Now that we've seen the Energon Driller here, could there be hope that we will see other Cyberverse toys show up in the US, like the Commander Class Bludgeon, Unicron Megatron, and Ultra Magnus figures? Or maybe we will see Legion Class Rot Gut, Bluestreak, Divebomb and Ace Vehicon, or the Beast Hunters Construct-Bots sets that have previously not seen US release. The possibility of this wave of toys being available in the US is a little brighter with this development. Check out the packaging for the Energon Driller:

ROSS stores can be hit or miss in what they stock, so these toys may or may not be available in stores in your area. But just knowing that we've got the Energon Driller with Bumblebee appearing at ROSS stores here and there is a pretty exciting development, not only for that figure itself but what it could mean to seeing the rest of that wave show up in the States as well!

Primeultimus also confirms that Transformers Beast Hunters toys and Transformers Construct Bots have been spotted at a ROSS store near him. We haven't really seen any Beast Hunters toys show up at the discount chains yet, so worth checking out if you're in the market.

Same. Walmart has tons of those big Optimus Prime's for cheap price... and I still haven't wanted it. But, hey, might pick up some Construct Bots if they go cheap enough

Honestly, guys, I was really on the fence about that large Optimus. I was planning on pulling off that wheel on his back the moment I found one on clearance, but when I got mine from Y'All-Mart for $25 and actually had him in hand, it really is an amazing figure, even with the launcher. Not $60 worth of awesome, but for 25 bucks, it's juuuust right! A nice, big, solid Prime.

Everywhere, they have a shitload of these giant mandala-Optimus Primes. I'd like one, but NEVER at 50$. Fingers crossed for a final clearance sale and/or these things showing up for cheap at Winners.

It would be nice if the last waves of Commanders and Legions show up. I doubt it though as I have only seen on tri lingual card but stranger things have happened.

I found them. I informed Seibertron who found one. I shared this info like I always do. It was front paged.

They still never showed up at Regular retail and not every Ross is getting them.

Discount Retail does not = Mainstream Release.

I ordered some because people asked me for them. That is why. I Said I knew where to get them and they asked me to list them for them. They could of just as easily bought them directly. They chose to deal with me instead. Like you said they have that CHOICE.

Glad to see these are turning up, hopefully the simple deluxes, BH Constructbots, and last wave of Bot Shots hit at some point, they're all I don't have from these most recent lost waves of product.

Some of the Botshots have show up in Australia. Been keeping my eyes open looking for cancelled stuff but it looks like mostly older under-ordered waves showing up like the Prime Commanders did at Marshalls and TJ Maxx 2 years ago while they were still on Regular Retail shelves. Tuesday Morning might be the place to get them at some point as much of their stock comes from Canada and is on Tri Lingual card.

I have found Tri Lingual Prime RID and DOTM figures at Ross , Bealls , and Tuesday Morning. Also Tri Lingual GI Joe at those outlets as well.

I saw that wave for sale on ebay. Too much for my taste, but at least it confirms they exist. It was the one with Hound, right? It was actually not supposed to be the last wave. Remember, there was a Soundwave wave too. Would love to get the Soundwave one. Those probably never hit production at all though.

I get touchy because everywhere I go people give me crap. I am sick of it. I have been treated like a Pariah on a regular basis. Most of my info is legit. Some of it does not always pan out. I said items were cancelled at regular retail.

I stated they were not coming to Target , Walmart and Kmart. I never said they would never show. They do exist in some form. I said they were not coming out at those stores and maybe they might show up at discount stores. Some of them but not all of them.

I don't want to derail this find, but has anyone seen the new Rescue Bots yet? I did. At Walmart yesterday. They had BB and Prime as the boat and monster truck. And what a joke. They are so thin and small there is no way anyone who would by RB's for their children would buy them. They are very poorly made and very thin plastic. They are also about pre 2012 Generations scout sized. Their price point was $8, which is a ripoff.

Saves me money though because I was going to buy them then and there until I realized how tiny they were and cheaply made.

Back on track indeed...I was driving around and stopped at a local Ross after a Target near by. I saw for the first time on the shelf the remold/retool voyager Predaking and that awful looking OP I might add too. Now I don't care for animal/beast/creature TF's but like anything there are acceptions to my rule. I was very impressed how this guy looked. The only flaw IMO was how his tail looks in alt-mode. But other than that it was really cool.

Anyway sorry for the ramble...I asked that it be held for me before they closed and guess what I spotted at Ross? :DANCE:

Yup and there were 2 on the shelf so good fortune to the other fan that spots it. So for a whopping $10.99 vs $19.99 yeah a no brain-er. I'll continue to check there and any near by TJ Maxx and Marshall's in my hunt. :VEHI:
