Not sure I dig Scourge too much. Lugnut looks like he has stubby legs.

Well, I'm less impressed than I'd hoped I'd be.

Jazz? Bought on sight.
Scourge? I might have to go with the Titanium for my Neo-G1 collection.
Lugnut? Egad.
PCC Dinobot Set? They might have finally made a set that won me over. I'm impressed.
Tracks? Bought on sight.
Perceptor? Pass. I'll buy the reissue. He's just not gonna cut it for me.
Legends? Megatron is a maybe, Starscream looks good, and Op and 'Bee are passes.

I'm rather disillusioned with Scourge. I was hoping for more than that. Those wings are just too wide and his vehicle mode doesn't look right. Robot looks nice, from what I can tell, but the vehicle nearly kills it for me.

I guess I'll have to see him in person before I make a final decision. I just don't get it... Cyclonus was given a terrific update and Scourge...not so much. I'd have thought Scourge was going to be a nice update...I was wrong, apparently.

Jazz and Tracks thoroughly impress me though. Geez they look great. Especially Tracks.

Lugnut looks mistransformed. The picture shown at Botcon looked much better.

Sadly the one that makes me the most excited is Goldbug.

Jazz, Perceptor and Tracks are high maybes.
The Dinobot PCC and Thunderwing are lower maybes.

The rest are meh. Except Scourge, Yikes, that should raise the demand/costs of a few Botcon sets.

Well,
Scourge - Arms are mistransformed for sure, shoulders need clipping to torso. Vehicle's like the original yet, fortunately, not TOO like it.
Jazz - Spot on. 'Nuff said.
Perceptor - All leg and no arms make Perceptor a dull choice...
Tracks - Alt-mode's a bit chunky compared to the original's sheer sexiness but the robot looks good enough to win me over.
Thunderwing - Looks pretty ace other than the legs sticking out the back of the alt. But, screw that, it's Thunderwing, so it's bought.
Grapple - Everything I was hoping for.
Lugnut - Lets see some better pics...
Windcharger - pretty neat and more in-scale than classics 'Bee.

...and the Dinobots?

Mine.

Most of them will be bought on sight. I also have a custom Tracks, Perceptor, Lugnut, and Jazz (from a Chevy Aveo Swerve no less!) They may end up on eBay in the coming months.

Hell, I've been working on Perceptor all night since I couldn't sleep. Microscopes are a hard thing to make.

The Legends are better than I was expecting.

Passing on Grapple and the PCCs but I may get the Dinobot one to make a new Dinoking.

Upon seeing Jazz I nearly creamed myself.
Most everything else I'm lukewarm on.
DELUXE Thunderwing? He should be Supreme class!
Legends Megatron is pretty pathetic.
Another Dinobot combiner... wasn't 'The Beast' evidence enough that a Dinobot gestalt is a bad idea?

Conclusion: Spring 2011 will annihilate my wallet. I. NEED. JAZZ! :BANG_HEAD:

Wasn't there a WFC Cliffjumper, Deluxe Skullgrin, and Legends Prowl mentioned at Botcon, where are they?

With the new molds I'm impressed with Jazz, Windcharger, and Thunderwing. Grapple is exactly as I pictured him to be but it would be nice to have the crane on his back like TFC did with the ladder they made for Inferno.

Wow...I'm loving all of these new figures!

The G1 homages is something I particularly like.

Scourge will look great with U Cyclonus and Galvatron.

Finally, we get a new mold specifically for Jazz!

Perceptor will likely get hated for its non G1 alt mode but I think a microscope with a tank mode just won't fly(no pun intended) as a mainline toy in 2010. The bot mode is great, it hits the character's G1 character design visual cues that I love.

Turbo Tracks looks neat, as does Thunderwing and the Grapple repaint of Voyager Inferno.

HFTD Lugnut...awesome for any TFA fan! It'll go great with RotF Lockdown. :)

Windcharger looks good, though it looks like there's a panel behind its head, which is one of the things I'm not a fan of in toy design.

Legends Gold Bumblebee is great(Goldbug?), though BB is my favourite character afterall.

Legends OP and Starscream look surprisingly awesome. I can't wait to see more photos of the figures.

Grimstone and the Dinobots is the first PCC that I'm truthfully excited about. It looks great! A Dinobot combiner that isn't a custom job and I just have to say that I'm not a fan of Mega-Dinobot...not one bit.

PCC Steamhammer and the Constructicons looks good too and I suppose if I get the Dinobots, I must get the Constructicons to display with them. :D

Habababababa, they all look so good... though Lugnut sure has some lanky arms. Thunderwing too could use a size-up, considering how much of a rampaging monster he was in the IDW comics.

It is sad that Jazz doesn't have a good Porsche 935 alt mode. The alt mode is just not right.....unless the picture is angled in such a way that the shape of the car looks wrong. I don't think that is the case though.

Scourge is just a wreck. That is a real disappointment.

Tracks is not too bad.

The rest are no-buys for me.

In terms of the Scout class Windcharger, is that HFTD or Generations? I thought they were sticking too the deluxe class for the G'tions line?

Either way he will be a worthy addition to any Neo-G1 collection. If he is part of G'tions, then other scouts can't be too far behind....

Couple of notes from Botcon to help convince you:

-Tracks has his flying car mode, so I'm sure his robot mode has wings.

-Thunderwing has a drone plane that looks like the jet his G1 inner shell transformed into. Drone does not transform however.

-Perceptor has a sniper rifle, ala his IDW incarnation.

-Jazz has fold out speakers in car, and robot mode for 'rock and roll' disorientation mode...ala his G1 cartoon incarnation.

I really want to see them do a Trailbreaker and Hoist mold. There is nothing previously made that is close enough for me. I really do like Grapple.

The dinobots looks great. I know it's a computer model at this point, but looks great.

Lugnut does absolutely nothing for me.

Windcharger looks good enough.

-Megatron Legends can be held by MP's if I remember correctly.

SCOURGEis very disappointing looking in this picture. Needs some work before final production, at least I hope.

Windcharger doesnt look bad either I hope they repaint/retool him into Tailgate

Damn, most of these are must buys for the Neo G1 collector. Although Scourge is kinda disappointing. Very reminicent of the Botcon Scourge in vehicle mode.

That Dinobot combiner looks nice as well, actually. The colors, from what the blurry photos show, look very G1.

Yes. But not that one. Looks like crap. Even the Pretender from '89 looks better. As a major G1 comic character, he deserves better treatment.

I'm really not impressed with these images from Hasbro at all! I think they have too much Bayphilia on the brain and more focused on the next movie line figures than on the Gen-line products, even though Grapple and Thunderwing looks good and the PCC dinobots are very impressive and will be only PCC combiner ill get next year otherwise, Hasbro will keep me saving more money...

Hopefully as the months gets closer, im hopefully see some video reviews of each figures and my future collection wont look so bleak.

All of those have great potential, but I have to believe they are all mis-transformed in some way or another. You can tell if you look closely.

Thankfully we have a while to save up for these! I hope they put more Generations repaints/remolds of voyagers into the HFTD line.

Is it just me, or does Lugnut look like a heavy remold of 2007 Movie Incenerator?

Scourge's alt mode looks kinda weird, but then again so do his G1 alt mode. Buying him.

Jazz looks like I hoped he would. Perfect. Bought.

Tracks is also awesome. Bought.

Perceptor is kind of funny looking in bot mode. Huge legs and smallish arms. I hope the legs are mistransformed. It doesn't matter though, I will still buy him.

Grapple looks good. Bought.

I like Windchargers bot mode. His head looks very G1. I figured when the redesigned him they would make him look less block-headed. I like it.

I love the G1 legends. Those will be perfect for my desk at work.

Thank you Hasbro for all the G1 goodness.

I will be grabbing most of the G1 stuff I missed the first time around:

Scourge (don't have any version, really wish I had the Titanium)
Jazz, Tracks, Windcharger Grapple
Thunderwing (not sure on this yet, need to see a gallery first)

My son will love Grimstone. He has Animated Lugnut which looks much better than the one pictured above, so that will be a pass. Grabbed the TRU Perceptor so that is another pass.

I have to say that the Legends figures continue to impress me, especially Optimus and Starscream.

Overall, the Generations line has me ready to buy. :KREMZEEK:

Great more deluxe cars to render the Diaclones obsolete. No thanks.

Scourge looks crap. Maybe they can repaint it as Cybertronian Seawing.

Thunderwing joins the ranks of Movie Bonecrusher and Classic Galvatron in the stupidly small category, though I'll still pick him up. If I see him that is. UK Hasbro have consistently let us down for 26 years.

Power Core Combiners? Saw my first this week. As much as I love Basics, those Drones join the ranks of the crap that are Legends and Mini-cons.

On a positive note, Windcharger looks great. Hopefully get a repaint as G2 Zap.

I actually will pick up Perceptor and Lugnut, especially since I liked Incinerator. So is this meant to be the G1 version of Animated Lugnut? I hope so.

Almost all of these look mistransformed, especially poor Scourge. There has to be something wrong with the shoulders, the arms are way too far away from his body. These will probably all end up being good figures. It just amazes me they continue to debut figures in such unflattering conditions.

---Scourge: Like it! Sure he's different than his G1 self
in alt mode but it'll be better than the titanium and G1 figures (in regard to transformation engineering and fun factors.)

---Jazz: Does anyone else think that his alt mode
looks identical to classics bumblebee/cliffjumper vehicle. It literally looks like a repaint to me...which it obviously isn't looking at the bot mode. Unfortunate...Hope it looks better in later pics and in person. The car almost looks too "cute" for Jazz.

---Thunderwing: Unless mistransformed in pic...probably not
gonna get...Legs sticking straight out the back!? Ugh!

---Perceptor: Awesome! Great homage while making a cool
vehicle!

---Tracks: Will definitely get...But the front overhang of
the car is a bit large and unsightly. From the front wheels back it is fantastic!

---Grapple: Awesome again!

---Lugnut: Unlike many I actually love it. He's got a
strange bot look overall, but it's cool. Kinda like a strong, dopey/crazy neanderthal-ish look.

---Windcharger: Love it too!

---PCC 5 packs: Might get dinobots just for the commander
figure. Constructicons?...I think not.

---Legends: *Yawn*

Photos can be very deceiving by the way they distort visual perspective. I had the same reaction to HA Barricade's alt mode until I actually saw the toy in person. In all the photos and even video footage of the toy, the alt mode looked too stubby to me. Then I saw the toy at Walmart and it looked perfect, the alt mode proportions look very accurate to the Saleen S281. I'm hoping we're seeing the same kind of photo issue here with Jazz's alt mode.

Jazz is a definate for me. I'm also a sucker for gun Megatrons so I'll be on the lookout for that legends. Tracks and Windcharger also look good.

Scourge is pretty disappointing. I don't know why they just didn't copy the Titanium version in plastic.

I'm also disappointed that all of the Transformers like Soundwave and Perceptor are getting vehicle modes. Maybe the Real Gears didn't sell well enough

Well I will be getting all the generations figures even though some look less than spectacular. I want to support this line and I'm sure some of these pics aren't the best. I do wish Thunderwing was larger but I do think that so far he looks to be my favorite...well, I'm hoping his feet in alt mode DON'T just stick out like that. Tracks looks good. Jazz...IDK how impressed I am yet. Scourge, glad I have the Botcon version. I might buy like 2 of these guys and make them lower level sweeps, behind the Botcon guys. I do have 1 Titanium Scourge and might as well add him to my Sweeps to then. Perceptor is ok, I'll buy it.

So far with the PCC, I'm only buying the Destron set and the Dinobot set. But I'm fine not loading up on these guys. A few here and there is good enough for me.

Scout class Windcharger looks awesome.

Not interested in any of the legends, so they are all pass for me.

But a G1 version in the U.S? That's too cool.

The Dinobot combiner is bad ass. That would have been cool if the G1s were made to combine.

I think they can get away with it when it's only a couple inches in size. Not much danger of a kid getting shot for wielding a tiny pistol between his fingers...
