I've just learned that Paramount won't be picking up Megan Fox's option on Transformers 3 -- and that it was "ultimately" director Michael Bay's decision. (So he gets his revenge for her remark comparing him to "Hitler".) Right now Bay and writer Ehren Kruger et al are finishing up the script for the threequel and "giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story," an insider tells me. Bay will start casting immediately for the new female co-star.

Ummm... maybe pics were taken before she got canned?
.
Given that the story says her "option won't be picked up" it seems a bit funny they'd already be filming scenes with her.
And to start looking around now for a female lead? That's something you'd think they'd already have done.

Have you seen scenes being filmed with Megan Fox? I've only seen pics of her walking around Bumblebee when he was brought out of storage...

Take it with a grain of salt is right. I'm in prove it mode over here: until such time as we have confirmation otherwise, Fox is still in the picture and I call BS on rumors to the contrary.
Hope I'm not being too grumpy about it, because I admit there's no need for it. I'm just sayin': don't believe the hype until it's proven fact.

Yea, right. Like their gonna spend the time to build up a relationship that makes more sense then the one they spent two movies on. I don't believe anything til I see when it comes to these Bay movies.

Well, like it or not, the can and are allowed to change their minds. Actors have died mid movies before and they've still continued and made due with changes. I am not saying that's what is going on here..but it's a possibility.

Well, actors have been fired, killed, quit or maimed before and the films have carried on. Perhaps they just changed their minds. Maybe they didn't like her complexion.

Bay, the Production Manager and I'm sure several other can let whoever they want on set, even me if they actually knew me, don't have to have a contract... Megan is part of the Transformer family so it probablly wasn't a big deal for her to be there...
Also, Lots of times people jump the gun on things on any kind of job and try to get started and things moving along before contracts are completed, cause they assume things will work out perfect...
We won't know for sure until we are sitting in that theater next summer and see the movie whether or not if she's in it...

Says Access Hollywood has confirmation that she has been given the heave ho.
I'm betting she's one of the humans killed by the Decepticons.
EDIT: If she is, that explains why she was on set, and now she's gone from the film. I'm betting she's killed off.
Now, wasn't that one of the rumors we first heard when the TF3 rumor mill kicked off? I could've sworn we heard she was getting killed off in the beginning.

I remember watching an interview with Bay between TF1 and TF2 and he said he would do as many Transformer movies as he could until they weren't popular... he said he would do 20 of them if needed to... something along those lines

Why don't we wait until the 3rd one comes out before we say stuff like this... 1st movie was completely awesome... 2nd was okay, but I blame a large part of that on the writer's strike that happened during the middle of the process... I say we wait to see the 3rd movie before we hang him LOL... he may blow the first 2 movies out of the water with all kinds of excellence

He signed on to do five. And deportation is not only ridiculous, but it wouldn't prevent him from making the movies. Paramount would still work with him.
I'm really sick and tired of people getting on the man's case. I would really love to see all of you just shut your mouths.
Just...shut up.
It's old, it's tiresome, and you could do no better directing the film(s). It's easy to sit in judgment when you're not doing the work, but if someone handed you a camera, I'd point and laugh when you fail miserably.
One of these days, I'd like to see Bay pull a Uwe Boll and just walk over to one of you loudmouth fans and clock you. I mean seeing stars, then blacking out clock you.
You folks deserve it. Deportation? Killing the man? Stealing his stuff?
Absolutely disgusting.

Watch Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and Bad Boys 2 then see what you think, and never speak well of the 2007 Transformers movie The robots were guest-stars at best in that one. Just like when Christopher Walken shows up in a movie for a bit-part.

It certainly is, when people clearly state they want the man dead, his room was broken into and stuff stolen, and you publicly make idiotic comments such as deporting the man, all because he directed a movie about TransFormers.
It's not hard to make a judgment on it when it's plain as day and people willingly run their mouths and say horrible and ridiculous things over something so unimportant.
And before you say it, yes saying what you say about Bay IS important. Your comment, while idiotic, is harmless in the grand scheme of things (though irritating beyond belief), but other comments by many other people have actually threatened the man's life and had people PRAYING and HOPING he'd die.
That's important. That's borderline terroristic. They call that Terroristic Threats, and why Bay hasn't pressed charges against some of these people (and some of them can be tracked), is beyond me. He has far more patience than most people. Plenty of other famous people would've had the law crush these roaches.

You're right. People have said far worse. And you're saying your comment is a joke, now, because attention was drawn to it, but really, there's always truth in jest. Otherwise it's not funny.
I'm just so sick and tired of hearing people complain about the man. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to get him out of TransFormers. You're stuck with him, simple as that. If you don't like it, too bad. Go find something else to do.
Paramount wants money. Bay delivers money. It's safe to say that Bay's not going anywhere, and not any time soon.
These constant negative comments directed toward the man make people look pathetic. Anyone from the outside looking in would say "Okay, maybe they're right." the first time.
