The next batch of Netflix Transformers toys should be coming to Walmarts soon enough and it is far more anticipated than the previous wave, due to three new toys. One of them is Soundwave, who turns into his Earthrise mode. It is a remold of the Siege toy and so there are a lot of similarities. We can see them in the images below. We also have comparisons with the casette bots, who also have slight remolding on their heads. Laserbeak, for instance, no longer has his cybertronian visor look. These images come from Cybertron Philippines.

I want that Soundwave set. But I know I'll never ever see it in stores and I'll have to pay the scalper price. >:oP

The forearm kibble really bothers me, assuming that it has no function in tape deck mode. If you're gonna remold to get rid of the cybertronian kibble, you gotta do it all

Everyone, say hello to Netflix Barricade:

https://www.facebook.com/Planetiacon.stfu/posts/3412585258807390

Now, to clear up some confusion, this is indeed a Netflix toy and not a Generations Selects toy, despite the presence of a Generations Selects box behind the figure. We first knew about this figure from way back when we got these listings of many other Netflix figures, the first five of which later proving to be real.

As for the box seen in this pics, we don't know whose it actually is, but it definitely looks to be one of the TakaraTomy Selects boxes since it has Takara's consistent misspelling of "Generations Selects" as "Generation Selects". Barricade, however, would not be coming in one of these boxes but instead in a normal Walmart Netflix Deluxe class package.

With that said, heeeeeeeeeeere's Barry!

Originally, I felt release both the Seekers and Datsuns back to back was kind of a slap in the face but now that I've had Smokescreen for a bit plus all the currently release ER Seekers and I am glad I got them. Definitely hoping to get Bluestreak on Prime Day and I will definitely get Barricade whenever the next Netflix wave drops.

I'm guessing since he wasn't officially announced he is not part of the wave with Bumblebee and Elita-1?

I never felt that way, and upon getting Bluestreak I certainly disagreed with it. There's nothing shared between Siege and Earthrise on either the seekers or the datsuns.

I want both the Soundwave and especially the Barricade.

Easy pass, though if it had a fancier lightbar and more paint on the sides I probably would have wanted it. Glad they didnt reuse the mirage mold for him but would def like him as a race car and in his micromaster colors at some point.

I foolishly thought when I started that I could have a 'one figure per character rule' and that promptly got tossed.

I have felt that way since they were revealed, and will end up getting all 4 again anyway. It doesn't really matter much that there are no shared parts between the Siege and Earthrise datsuns, the transformation is largely the same with the Earthrise versions being an improvement over the Siege versions. It feels like getting the same toys again, just improved versions, that is why it feels like a slap in the face to some. At least for the seekers you have a completely different alt mode and transformation, and they feel like completely new toys. Now I just have to figure out if I want to keep both sets of datsuns (and Ratchet and Ironhide too) or if I will be selling off my Siege versions in the near future.

Love what they did with Ravage’s back legs. The way they did the paint work there gives the illusion of a thin upper leg, rather than the chonky blob it actually is.

Boy, the striking teal and jet black on the Takara one just makes the Hasbro one's deco look so vanilla and bland by comparison.

Well this is a bit of a surprise. Thanks to Seibertronians Mindmaster and Sabrblade, we have been directed to in hand pics of an as-yet-unannounced earth-mode version of War for Cybertron Trilogy Barricade. While this isn't completely unexpected, given that Barricade now seems to be the Decepticon version of any Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen mold, it wasn't guaranteed to be made, either.

Given that he's standing next to a cardboard Selects style box, it could easily be assumed that he's going to be released in the Selects line, but as Sabrblade points out....

Everyone, say hello to Netflix Barricade:

So, Seibertronians, what are your thoughts on this latest use of the Earthrise "Datsun" mold? While there's no indication of when this might be released, are you excited to add this Decepticop to your collection when the time comes? Let us know what you think below!

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Praxiusprime77, has let us know that Facebook page, DaimChocReports, has uploaded new shots of the forthcoming Netflix Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy Spoiler Box #2, or more specifically, it's contents: Nemesis Prime!

These new shots show off Nemesis wielding his weapons (taken from the Power of the Primes Amazon Exclusive Nemesis Prime) and uses for the red Slitherfang repaint the set comes with.

As a bonus the images also show a comparison to Takara's Siege Nemesis Prime, released this past March. The differences in deco choices are apparent but the Netflix release comes with more extras in the was of the aforementioned Red Slitherfang, Giza, and the two double barrelled guns from the Amazon Nemesis Prime, and a black repaint of Earthrise Leader Class Optimus Primes trailer.

Check out the images below:

What's the deal, with ?Hasbro and using dull colors? Like that tan/grey on the trails of the Titan Master OP and the Sleep OP, and now this dark grey instead of black on NP?
I also like the more extensive use of teal on the Takara version.

Also it appears Fangtron will be the first Shield-Type Battlemaster to have non translucent Plastic? I know there had been pics of it before, but they were small. I thought he would be translucent like all the others.

Nope, but we only found out he had it a few days ago when in-hand images started appearing:
Netflix-War-For-Cybertron-Nemesis-Prime-01.png

I could have sworn this got posted here already, but I guess not.

I already wasn't intending to replace either of my Siege Datsuns with this ER mold, but this Barricade especially makes it easy. Worse/more boring colors, still no Punish and Enslave on the alt mode (although that's probably for the best given how this year has gone), and the bad-looking ER Smokescreen face? No thank you. The only selling point here is the fact that he gets an actual gun this time in addition to the shoulder guns.

I have and think I prefer the POTP one, but I almost never decombine him and its so big compared to the current Prime and Megs and other leaders that I am kinda looking forward this for a more scale figure. But this combo of Siege Prime with Earthrise trailer is identical to my Optimus and I dont want a straight duplicate

Hasbro's Nemesis Prime looks way better than Takara's overload of teal, especially better truck mode. Barricade looks really good too along with his nearly entirely black car mode. I can't wait to have all of the siege and earthrise datsuns.

Okay, I do not get what's going on here, but either everyone is really confused or I missed something, cuz hasbro's is the one with the vivid black and teal, tt's is the one with muted colors, you can tell by the color of the wheels who is who, but everyone seems to have them mixed up

Takara's is the one with the teal con symbol, Hasbro nemmy has the purple con symbol. In the comparison photos, TT Nemmy is on the left, hasbro is on the right. This is confirmed by looking at stock images and the in package shot

I'm confused. We thought the snake in the new set was Giza, but in the PotP version the "bird" was Giza. If he comes with both then what's the snake's name?

In my head canon (since I'm going to have both figures) the TT figure is RID Scourge's newest body while the Netflix version is Unicron Trilogy Nemesis Prime/Grand Scourge (if you consider those the same characters, I do). So one is a Decepticon that looks like Optimus and is on sort of the chaotic neutral side while the other is a creation of Unicron that looks like Optimus and is pure evil.

Animated Skywarp = dark gray
War For Cybertron Soundblaster = dark gray
Siege Skywarp =dark gray
Now Earthrise Nemesis Prime = dark gray

This is getting ridiculous now. They're all supposed to be jet black. Why is Hasbro doing this? Is there a logical explanation why they can't just use black plastic?

Is there a trick to reading Cybertronian? I know it's just a straightforward cypher of English but even looking at them side by side I can't make any immediate comparisons to Latin script, and the symbols all look similar, so memorization seems like an uphill fight.

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Praxiusprime77 has let us know that a new video review of the forthcoming Netflix Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy Spoiler Pack #2 Nemesis Prime is now online! The reviewer is The Mr. Stan Show on YouTube.

This release contains Nemesis Prime (redeco'ed Siege Voyager Optimus Prime), trailer (redeco'ed trailer from Earthrise Leader Class Optimus Primes) weapons (from the Power of the Primes Amazon Exclusive Leader Class Nemesis Prime), Fangtron (redeco'ed Earthrise Battlemaster Slitherfang) and some Energon cubes. Also included is spoilers for the Netflix series, written in Cybertronian.

One of the big surprises with this set has been the incursion of Giza (the bird which transforms into a sword from the Amazon exclusive Nemesis Prime figure) as initial listings didn't picture him, which lead to speculation that the red Slitherfang was named Giza for this release.

We have embedded the review below for your convenience:

Will you be adding this Nemesis Prime to your collection? Have a place in your Nemesis Prime shrine ready? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

I've got it pre-ordered twice! Once from Walmart back when they were revealed, and again from Hasbro because Walmart is Walmart and I expect them to simultaneously push back the dates on their pre-orders while they show up and possibly even go on clearance in stores before they even think of shipping pre-orders.

heh...heh..heh....Spoiker... ;)

Frustrating case of first reviewer wanting to be first and not knowing about the toy or fiction itself... How ironic is it that someone who didn't even know this was coming is the first to get it.

Looks like he did some quick googling, but doesn't know that ER Prime is completely different from Siege, and there is no "Netflix Prime" (not yet anyway, its coming and will be the same as ER, just painted different).

I know what the cypher is, I was asking if there's any tipster to comprehension without going through it letter by letter. Like "the character for A looks like a lowercase a if you look at it sideways", shortcuts like that

To keep this on topic, I'm looking forward to Soundwave and Bumblebee from the next wave, I hope they start turning up soon. They're supposed to be next month, right?

As far as I know the Deluxes are coming end of this month/beginning of next month, but here in the UK the Voyagers aren't due until December, not sure about the rest of the world though.
