EDIT: In addition to the above, we also have confirmation from various sources, but first notified via D-Maximus_Primal and Arpeniox, that the big purple space T-Rex also includes a catapult feature, that we have yet to see in action in any of the images or clips. More info below!
Trypticon, known as Dinosaurer in Japan, is an immense, city-sized juggernaut of sheer destructive power! Check out the level of detailing on this massive beast (nearly 45cm tall in robot mode) He comes with Full-Tilt in his vehicle form, a Headmaster, a catapult, and an additional weapon, and he can transform into his vehicle and base modes as well.

The Legends version isn't finished, they're just previewing things with the Hasbro version.
They're forcing the perspective a bit by having Metroplex leaning a sideways onto his right leg past Trypticon, but it looks alright. I'm sure the TT version won't have the green hands and have chromed feet.
The listed weapon is probably just Full-Tilt's gun. Catapult though, that's not something we've seen mentioned before. Brunt, maybe?
Oh, and as for the "will they or wont they" for the remaining Hasbro figures getting into Legends, let's not forget that TT also needs to start thinking about the new stuff coming from Power of the Primes. It's getting harder and harder to explain why everybody is a Headmaster, but the PotP stuff should bring us back to normal, less gimmick laden figures (partially anyway)

So how much more plastic does Trypticon have than Metroplex? I mean he is really hollow, but there still looks to be some girth on him.

Based on the actual artwork, I've always assumed that Trypticon was about the same height as the Combiners. However, I personally just always assumed he was drawn out of scale and was actually meant to be giant sized like Metroplex still.
Though I guess even in the images I posted, Trypticon should technically be bigger because the Dinobots should be larger than the regular Autobots.
I'm putting my money on Trypticon as the biggest in the Marvel Transformers comics. Man I love those comics!

Surprising as he also penciled Shogun Warriors, another toy franchise. Anyways, TF was like a b#stard child which no one wanted to care for except , well until it was dropped on Bob Budiansky's lap.

Both the gun and the catapult are listed as additional parts on the part list, a built in launcher would be a toy feature and not on the list. Hasbro's product description doesn't mention anything about a launcher on the ramp. Where a launcher would be is a big empty space where the center tower of the city mode pops out.

And yet you're still being a jerk to me for no reason...
ANYWAY, AmiAmi raised their price for some reason, going from 30% off to 28% off. They usually don't start doing that for a while after the first listing, most often not until it's been released, certainly not the next day. Makes no difference to me, it's cheaper to buy the Japanese Titans domestically than to import them once you factor in shipping. I've got one on order from TFSource as I did with Fort Max (Legends and Encore), will probably save me $50 in the end. Though if the TT version ends up not looking much different from the Hasbro version I'll cancel.

Also, back story wise, if Metroflex' upgrade has quadrupled his size to that of Fortmax, then the lack of Brunt like that of Slammer and Sixgun would be conveniently an explanation of incorporating them into the main body leading to their increased scale fiction wise.
Also, will Dinosaurer have batteries for a sound gimmick?
Is the catapult just gravity based? Or a spring powered mechanism?

It is my favourite shop, it helps out international buyers who get customs fees when they import elsewhere.
And you guys are very lucky to have the option to buy from local importers instead who do the heavy lifting. For many of us worldwide, buying from Anime Export is the only way of getting it for a total price similar to what BBTS is charging you.

Names aren't nearly as big of an issue for Japan, different rules apply there, especially when it comes to English names.
I did double check some of the Japanese online shops and it really does say "catapult" (カタパルト kataparuto) which is strangely specific. It could be used to mean launcher I suppose, they certainly do have better words for cannon or tank than that.
