would be interesting considering there's a target master buddy minifigure of the character already in the generations line.

No.
I don't know, Alpha Bravo is a perfect example of how good a combiner limb can be when designed from the ground up with out having to homage a previous design.
He is the Alpha and the Bravo, the Fist and the Foot, the rotor and the propellor.
There can be no other.

I could see Scattorshot being a retool of Silverbolt. Both have similarly shaped altmodes, and SS would only really require remolding of the outer jet shell. Both Superion and Computron have similarly shaped heads, although I could certainly do without the softplastic "nipples" on Scattorshot.

I think that Silverbolt's jet mode looks like Cyclonus. Slight remolding and a purple coat would do that trick.

Scattershot and Onslaught sounds really interesting. Silverbolt and Hot Spot retools respectively perhaps.
Also, Legends Shockwave maybe? How strange.

Of course!! How did I forget that? That would be pretty awesome. Hope he actually turns into a gun and it's not some makeshift 3rd mode.

Also interesting that they are more or less rushing (not best choice of words I know) all the G1 combiners. Now I doubt they'll do wave upon wave of Decepticon combiners, so does this mean some combiners on the horizon

I don't think they always have to follow comic continuity. Perhaps it's just for the whole Bruticus gimmick. Slingshot is being released by Takara despite being dead. Maybe it's just for the lols.

Okay I'm not quite sure what happened here. I wanted to edit the post but instead it quoted it..-_-
Syn@ takara isn't bound to IDW though unlike hasbro who have a close relationship with them but you could be right as long as it's part of CW

Wheeljack further points out that Slingshot seems beyond saving

During one of his casual chat with either McCarthy or Scott, Va'al probably said something about how he needs a new obsession, they went back to IDW and Hasbro and the rest is history ...

I like the thought of a Legends Shockwave that can be used as a weapon with a Combiner, like Bruticus for example.

Pipes... he was adorable in More Than Meets the Eye", so I might get him.
Onslaught... cue Ode to Joy.
Cool that Scattorshot (and therefore Computron) is being made.

Plus, with CW Deluxes all being Combiners, it'd be awkward for them to release a non-combiner Deluxe in CW.

What is interesting is I went to Walmart this morning and there was -
Windblade, and tons of Voyagers from the last wave...
Toys R Us still holding on to a good bit of the AOE line, and few MP's.
Beginning to wonder if Wave 1 will hit nearly two months after its "proposed" launch in my area.
Which seems to be accurate as the Snarl AOE Wave seemed to take forever, and the releases seem to be making me want to open my wallet more and more... 50 Shades of Transformers... Stop Teasing meh!

Or they'll make it so the TCC's Afterburner (the one coming with Marissa Faireborn) is the one to go with the others. They'll just make a special combiner port adapter for that toy.

How about a damn voyager, which is LONG overdue.
Pipes was a given. Where is Kickback? How about Reflector as a legends? How about a friggin Brawn?? Or a Seaspray? Instead we get a few obscure characters.
Posted by william-james88 on February 12th, 2015 @ 8:30am CST
I ask because those toys which came out later in the year or early in the next were only unveiled at Botcon. And Hasbro already said we would be getting 16 deluxes and seven legends and all of those have been accounted for. So these new toys listed would not be coming out this year (the voyagers maybe, I dont know but the legends no). So I'm doubting they will be announced at the toy fair this year since that will leave very little for Botcon.

See whats interesting how many people want a Voyager version... To me Voyager Prime Shockwave is one of the best Hasbro versions yet and works just fine when standing up next to other version and series.
I would agree though it would be nice to see a Generations Voyager Shockwave with a darker flare and not as ugly as DOTM, and not a re-used Deluxe of Airraid FOC...

Theyll probally groove/rook him instead. Hasbroburner will probably become Computrons chestplate. Computron will have a new limb called Charlie Delta and he will be a copter. Alpha Bravo, Charlie Delta, Rook, and Offroad combine with Optimus Prime to form the mighty Rejector. I know this because I hacked IDWs computer while they were drinking Johnnie Walker.
Save yourself some stress and buy Quantron. Youll love him and you wont have to wait 10 light years to get him.

Did you forget this is Hasbro your talking about ?
You got seaspray in the movie line in a nice chunky voyager scale. And takara was nice enough to repaint him in G1 colors.
Brawn already exists as a bloated cannonball in the Cloud line. But you will be getting a legends Brawn from the Swerve/gears mold at some point based off of gears head. Then they will repaint Swerve as Outback. Maybe someone should make a torso so they can be a mini combiner.
You already got Kickback in the FOC lineup. Remember this is Hasbro we are talking about. The insecticons are the new seekers. Belzeboss is planning to release a legends Kickback for $60 most likely for those who must fill the gap.
Voyager Shockwave already exists in the beast hunter line. Hasbro figured since Shockwave has no face you can use the figure for classics too. Thats why they did him in cartoon accurate G1 lavender instead of TF Prime deep purple.
Reflector will be part of Combiner Wars 2016. The 3 robots will "combine" into a tank. Remember tanks or similar vehicles are Hasbro's answer to any G1 alt mode deemed unworthy for kids. A boombox? Make it a tank ! Cassettes? More tanks! A microscope? Lets make it a tank ! A gun? Nope, sorry you get a tank !
Hope this helps. Thank you for doing business with Hasbro !

Chopshop? Could this mean the (gasp) DELUXE insecticons will also be coming? (Venom, Chopshop, Barrage and Ransack?) We've had no news of a Kickback figure, but with excellent versions of Shrapnel and now Bombshell already out, I'm hoping to see Kickback as well...

Shockwave might be interesting, though I hope for once he turns into something that's not basically a giant cannon.

Ever sense Metroplex these Legend size figures seem to put scale slightly back to what things should be.
Ignoring Leader sized... But looking at a full Combiner to a Legend figure would seem a bit more accurate than a Deluxe to a fully combined figure...
Hum...
I suppose I can't pass these legends any more...

Shockwave as a wieldable weapon sounds awesome. That RTS legends Megatron loves to be Armada Unicron's sidearm. I hope we see lots of this idea.

It's almost like Silverbolt was designed with the future retool in mind.
I'd do a digital mockup, but I don't have access to my PC with Photoshop at the moment.
But look at CW Silverbolt's Shoulders, lower legs, lower torso, and knees and tell me those don't look like the G1 Scattershot's corresponding parts. Then slap on Scattershot's colors. And hell, just put a horizontal vent on the middle of Silverbolt's forehead and some shades over his eyes, and you have something that would easily pass for Scattershot.
Of course, the majority of the remolding would be for the vehicle (because Silverbolt doesn't really pass for SCIENCE PLANE). Then tack on the slight remolding for the head, a new Gestalt head, and maybe a redesigned chest plate (and some tweaking for Gestalt mode).

I feel you. I was kinda thinking the same thing. If this is the case, I hope we see a ton of retooling to anything they reuse to make Computron. If so I'm OK with it.
