Check out this news report about a very creative Ohio family who, in the spirit of the Halloween season, designed and built a set of foam and wood movie Optimus Prime and Bumblebee models. Of course, these didn't just appear over night, they took the family 8 months of hardwork.
You can see the CNN video here, and some screen captures below, showing the creation and display of the huge statues.
What Transformers fan wouldn't want these in their yard, especially for the Halloween season? Next Halloween the Cleveland family says they will be adding a few Decepticons into the midst...Barricade and Megatron!

I agree wholeheartedly with the first part of the statement. EXTREMELY well done. I can't wait to see the adds for next year. Can someone make a Santa hat and sent it to them for Optimus?

It'd be the best display ever if they were from any line other than the movie...lol.
I know a lot of really hard work went into them, but because they're the movie versions I just can't say anything good about them.

CleveFamily wrote:We are the Cleveland family that created the Halloween Transformer display. We just wanted to say thank you to TigerTracks for posting this story! We really appreciate it. Thank you also for all the comments. In response to the question about the storage....they are all built in different pieces to take apart and store away for the year. It was built to scale to fit through our doorways. I also wanted to add that we have a myspace address so you can check out more videos and videos of the local news stations that covered it! http://www.myspace.com/transformersclevelandoh
Thanks again!

I commend this family for making such awesome statues. My love for TF started in Cleveland as well, watching G1 after school and going to the movie on my 10th birthday. Bravo!!

I imagine it was quite a mess, and they probably will be still tracking pieces of it all over the house many months later
And I agree with the others, these are very well done!
