Directly from the floor at San Diego Comic Con 2017, site owner Seibertron is providing us images of the display area at the Hasbro booth. For this first night, Hasbro chose not to reveal anything new from the Titans return line. Instead they showed several toys from the waves already released this year. Even Overlord wasn't on display and neither was Slugslinger, the only toy from Titans Return wave 6 we know of for sure. At least this gives us one more day to speculate as to what his wavemates might be. They did also include the reissue of Masterpiece Optimus Prime which is identical to the previous Hasbro release. These are only the initial images, of course, expect the full Seibertron.com treatment as the event continues with actual reveals across the weekend, with the Hasbro Breakfast Press event Thursday morning, panel coverage on Friday and Saturday, and follow-ups with official images and more!

That case explains why I saw so many of the same ones at the store the other day. That and I think Fred Meyer is downsizing their toy section. (Or the one near me is.)

Freddy's was the place to go for toys about 3 years ago but now its like 40 or so titan masters and a bunch of the small TLK guys. Man. I remember when I was into beyblade they had pretty much everything you'd want. What a bummer.

I need Trypticon....can't wait to see more!

Man, I got so excited when I woke up today... oh well. These are nice pics I guess.

For sure, yesterday theyn showed us everything that is out, and we knew was coming except Slugslinger. This morning we get...Slugslinger...well the good news is I guess they cant show us anything else that we haven't seen already unless they start going backwards...

*correction*...I guess next they could show us the Walgreens exclusive Duocon set...

Hmmm... Another remold of Triggerhappy... Meh. I'm not very impressed with this one tbh. Especially since he has 2 cockpits, yet the headmaster sits inbetween them :S
I can live with the Misfire remold, even though both have new wings and a new nose part, yet this one looks a bit bland to me...

I like Misfire, but yeah, Slugslinger is a bit bland.....maybe if he had a different TM, like Thunderwing, he'd look a bit cooler....

Well...look at Voy Optimus

then it got a repaint(as the mold was intended for) as Octone

then as Laser Prime

& finally as Black Convoy(Nemesis Prime)


so i can easily see Broadsides mold being reused beyond what we're already getting with it

btw i don't understand Willie J's comment that it's not a repaint....but just Takara!(Broadside) coz you can clearly see the diff colours between the two


+ with TT it's a common practice when it comes to repaints

Duocon? Do you mean the Walgreens Exclusive "Clones" set of Wingspan and Cloudraker? Duocons were Fjywheels and Battletrap and a Battletrap repaint of Generations Springer was an Exclusive at one of the last Botcons (I think).

The idea when the term repaint is used is as a different character, or different theme on a character. No one typically considers the TT version of toy X to be a repaint. If you would like to, that is your prerogative.

Yeah. Takara and hasbro are seperate corporate entities and should be viewed as such. calling a Takara version a repaint only because one came out first is bonkers. That means the entire hasbro Cybertron line is made of repaints. I personally think its safer if we dont go down this ludicrous rabbit hole.
Stuartmaximus, I know you sometimes wonder why people ignore you or dont talk to you, and insisting on things that people categorically rule out might be one of the reasons why. I still respect your opinion but I dont have anything to say about it since I feel its just wrong with every way i see things.

People have the right to think the earth is flat and we all have the right to ignore them. its everybody's choice.

I cant fucken believe it. Hasbro wont be revealing TR wave 6 at SDCC (doenst seem like it since they skipped over it in the panel). I guess it will be like TR Wave 4 where we had to wait for them to be in stores internationally before they were "revealed" at Toy Fair.

With the reveals today of Power of the Primes at SDCC, I thought maybe you had inside knowledge of something coming down the pipes. And even if you didn't there's still a chance we may get the true Duocons in this line. It was rumored last year that we're getting Voyager Class Horrorcons, Apeface and Snapdragon, so my fingers are still crossed for them. And this new line, Power of the Primes, seems to be crossing back into the last two lines of Titan Masters and Combiner Wars, so more G1 characters are bound to make it into this new line.

I guess we'll see more come this September at Hascon.

You forget, there's still one more big tf con happening in China at the end of the month - if I'm not mistaken - it's where trypticons prototype was first teased and where sixshot and most of the newest tr figures were shown off, so there's still time.

Well that's a nice thought, but no, I don't have any insider knowledge about anything, I don't even have a FB page . The one and only time I "broke" any news was back in 1998. I was I believe the first person to post online the episode list for Season 3 of Beast Wars, and that's only because everyone had dial-up back then, and pretty much everyone influential stayed for Sunday of BC, while I went home Saturday night.

We did get a Flywheels homage from Titan Master Skytread, but who knows what the future will bring.

On the back of the cereal box/ poster that was revealed, there were some names for titan masters we haven't gotten yet, so I think that means we will be getting more from wave six than just slugslinger. The names were fengul, professor go, parsec, leinad, dynamus, and fathom. All of them ( except for fathom) were listed as autobots

I'd bet money those are the names for the Chaos on Velocitron and Seige on Cyberton box set TMs. Five Autobots and one Decepticon.

Fellow Seibertronian ebo716 rightly points out to some Transformers: Titans Return news that appeared on the Trypticon Titan Master Crunch poster image, seen at San Diego Comic Con 2017. The image reveals the names of all the Titan Masters in the line - including some we have yet to see show up: Autobots Fengul, Professor go, Parsec, Leinad (oh hey DANIEL), Dynamus, and Decepticon Fathom. Okay, guys, look very closely at that image, there's some more oddities.

Ultra Magnus: ULTIMATE INTELLIGENCE BOOST
Scorponok: ULTIMATE FIREBLAST BOOST
Take note that Rodimus Prime and Thunderwing are listed as Ultimate Speed and Strength boost, respectively.
Ginrai: Chokon Power
Blunderbuss: Radar and Sonar Boost, under Decepticons for some reason

And there's probably more.

Also, I missed Scorponok in the news. Huh.

So it looks like Ultra Magnus and Scorponok will be the Titan Masters for the next two box sets, seeing as Magnus does "Ultimate Intelligence Boost" and Scorponok does "Ultimate Fireblast Boost". Still, it would have been nice if they revealed the box sets during the panel.

the poster also has Ultra Magnus and scorponok on it, who both have the same functions as the boxset diecast titan masters

Some of these could be the "unused" names for the box set titan masters like Nautica, Quickswitch, Tidal Wave etc.

Yes it would be nice. But now with the clones being released differently, i dont know if the boxsets are still a thing. Godamit Hasbro I want answers!

Hate to say it, but this is the most likely answer. Fathom does sound like an ideal name for Tidal Wave's Titanmaster

Fathom being the only 'Con is Tidal Waves, plus the nautical themed name.

So that just leaves us to match up

Might be nice if they'd simply tell us the names for the ones that don't have names or better yet give us the image of the cards (as appropriate) as it's sort of important gimmick wise to know who they are and what their powers are supposed to be.

Parsec is almost certainly Nautica's titan master and there's one other new name you may not have noticed: Refractor.

I wouldn't use this as evidence of anything upcoming though as it's clearly using outdated information: Terri-Bull has the wrong name (Rot-Gut) and Infinitus has the wrong power.

There's a "Ginrai" there too.

The Hasbro Titans Return toyline has consistently portrayed the Titan Masters to be separate-identity individuals from those of the bodies they attach to. If Magnus Prime's Titan Master is Ginrai (or at least named "Ginrai"), then Magnus Prime himself is someone else other than Ginrai.

The Hasbro Titans Return toyline has consistently portrayed the Titan Masters to be separate-identity individuals from those of the bodies they attach to. If Magnus Prime's Titan Master is Ginrai (or at least named "Ginrai"), then Magnus Prime himself is someone else other than Ginrai.

Could be a thing like in the Masterforce cartoon where the transectors took on a life of their own making each thier own character, but I doubt there will ever be anything to clear this up.
