Canada and the US seem to alternate between what is found first in one country over the other, which is perpetually odd since they are neighbors (largest shared border between countries in the world) and have the same chains. But yet here is an example of the discrepancy.
The Wave 5 Titans Return voyagers, Blitzwing and Octone have finally been found in Canada, at an Ontario Walmart while Robots in Disguise Combiner Force Galvatronus, which is slated for an October release in the US, has also been found the same week.
The most sought after toy of the moment has also been found around the same time, Movie Masterpiece MPM 04 Optimus Prime. What is intriguing about this later one, found at Toysrus of course, is how reasonable the price is. MPM 03 Bumblebee, is $130 CDN, which is $105 USD (well above the US MSRP of $80), however MPM 04 Optimus Prime is also $130 CDN (so also $105 USD, much closer to it's $100 USD MSRP). And, this week until thursday, there is a sale on all Transformers above $24.99 CDN, meaning that one can purchase (or get a raincheck for) this Movie Masterpiece Optimus at $103.97 CDN (which is $84.29 USD)

What's the current status of raincheques at TRU? Last time I checked they put a stop to them...

I'm sure some of us would be willing to help... but... when was the last time you shipped something from Canada? I get a lot of stuff from the States, and shipping is cheaper from overseasQuantum Surge wrote:$85 bucks for MPM Prime is a pretty good deal. Shame I'm stuck here in the US with no real TRU close to me. Anyone want to step in and help a fellow Seibertronian?

I think the last time I shipped something from Canada was when I got DOTM Megatron, and IIRC, the S&H was pretty cheap; then again, this was from a Canadian seller from Amazon.com.

Shipping from any of us would be quite expensive and you would lose any savings. Especially since that $85 does not include the tax yet. Your total would be 85 + 12.75 (taxes where I am) + 20 (estimated shipping) so about $117 USD.

That set is just MEAN. Forcing you to buy two 150$ sets to have all four...
Oh well.
Oh and just in case, TLK voyager Scorn and Nitro have finally appeared in Quebec's Toys R Us. If you don't find them at the TF section, check near the Rescue Bots. There's usually a small "island" with the newest stuff.

Nitro is in the images we just posted and the TR voyagers were found at Walmart.

The new voyagers were also at TrU. However, TrU and Walmart still don't have TR Slugslinger yet. Fortunately I could get it at my local independent store but for 5$ more. No regrets though.

I wouldn’t count US Toys R Us out, however, they’re simply declaring bankruptcy to free themselves from the crippling $5B that’s been around their neck since the company was sold in the early 00s. They’re not done yet, as can be seen by Hasbro and others sticking with them.

Why must my TRU torture me with their silly little five foot section of shelfwarmers? :-/

That's very tru about the RID warriors. I don't mean to scare anyone but these have literally been found everywhere except the US.
My pictures show Bludgeon, Thermidor and Twinferno in Canada
but here is also a pic from the UK
from Singapore
From Australia
from Malaysia
And on and on. TF fan Nevermore, who follows this closely wrote the following to sum it up:
At this point, [they've] been released in pretty much every country except for the US: Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia), Canada, Australia, Europe (the UK and Germany)... we all have seen a retail release of his wave, but it's still AWOL as far as US retail is concerned.
So yes, people can literally say that these toys are released everywhere except the US. It is entirely possible (though nothing is confirmed) that they may be skipped due to them seemingly being the last warriors in the line. Just like Skylynx in CW. But that is all speculation.

And nobody ever restocks Titans Return deluxes anymore. Not even Walgreens. I was hoping to find Misfire by now but I give up. When I get paid next week I'm ordering him online. This is such bull****!

Toys'r'us in France is so late with the releases it's almost useless to check it more often than every 6 months. Ans even so we only a third of the toyline...

All big collector boxes are NOT in store. ONLINE only. Because those are expensive items and the toy section always get trashed by savages. Anyway, shipping is usually free for orders that are 50$ or more. So you're not losing anything. Unless you are homeless and/or don't have a credit card.

As far as sightings go, Leader Dragonstorm has been found at both Toysrus and Walmart, along with the Titans Return Slugslinger wave. The third wave of deluxes from Transformers the Last Knight have been found at Toysrus and can currently be purchased online, as we show below.

TrU have TR Blitzwing and Octone, but they are rare. Happy hunting!
The latest wave of TlK deluxes are at TrU as well. Crosshair, Strafe, and some other reprint.

The Walmart catalog also confirms that the Titan hero figures from Transformers The Last Knight were Walmart exclusives all along. The Walmart catalog can be used for price matching at Toysrus and vice versa (though Walmart appears to be pickier with the toy needing to be the same as the image in the flyer). All the best on your holiday shopping.
