There are some nice looking figures, but there is an awful lot of boring repaints

Out of all of them, I'm probably just going to get Hailstorm and Axor.

So that Elita-1 is actually screen accurate...
I actually do like that battle damage on Sideways. Pass on the 3rd cannon Bumblebee three pack. For a second i thought it was another Leader class Brawl which would be great. Then i was disappointed.. Not to excited about the paint on Backfire, but i do like the mold. Axor looks pretty good, I'll pick him up since he is supposed to be a pretty BA decepticon. Hailstorm is a thing of pure BEAUTY! Great looking figure.

Well: Axor and Hailstorm are bought, the Arcee 3 pack, and the possible 3 pack with BB for the screen accurate Rampage and Ravage, BB can go bye bye.
Just from these promo shots, i am already excited.

I like a lot of these. But what I can't figure out is why they repainted a figure as bad as Deluxe ratchet. I know, he's never been done before but he was horrid.
But I'm glad to see the guy who combines with Mindwipe (I can't remember his name.) Maybe they'll put out a yellow one of him to match. lol.

HailStorm looks very nice, maybe he can be an extra Combaticon or something.....he certainly doesn't fit MindSet like they said...

TF collector in me says, AWESOME!
Guy who has to pay for this stuff in me says, Oh hell...
Love- LOVE- the Sideways/Arcee triplets set, I can taste it already. What, is that so wrong?
Some nice repaints there I'll get, too. That Brawl set w/ Jolt, is that just Deluxe Brawl or a new mold, can't tell but it looks like the old Dlx one.
Hailstorm looks scary, def. buy now.

I absolutely love how the blurb for "Bombing Run Battle" doesn't at all explain the massive scale difference.
Speaking of those blurbs, they are really hugging the edges of the card on those Deluxe and Scout classes.
Hailstorm, Brimstone, Insecticon, and a bunch of the new Legends 'Cons are bought. Zombie Sideways and the Triplets is mighty tempting.
Devastator is really, really green.

I'm also noticing the newest molds of both HFTD and Gen figs may have a neat little gimmick.
The same weapon clip / bar system that Recon Ironhide started it continues with Breacher, Darkmount and Tommahawk. I'll also check Hailstorm, too...
Darkmount has alot of weapon swapping possibilities. It's a neat little feature I think needs to be mentioned...
And I purposly skipped Scattorshot knowing an eventual repaint would be produced. Firetrap looks good to me! Thanks Hasbro for being predictable!
I'm going to hold off on Hubcap for this same reason...
The mold just screams Goldbug to me.
Now where's Terradive and Tommahawk?

She is in a "aw screw it, close enough" kind of way. I don't know why they couldn't slightly retool the Arcee mold instead, That would be perfect. I'd do it myself if I could find another Arcee.

To clearify, i meant the little one in the three pack. At least it's purple. The deluxe is pathetic..

I really don't want to point this out for some who missed it but the Sideways 3 pack is a store exclusive, making it harder to get. I hope it is Walmart because the absolute nearest one is 30 seconds away from my house. It's like COSTCO there, with pack sets thrown everywhere. Anyway I love it and I hope to mod chromia to have the correct arms and bulk arm thing. I also love the Sideswipe stripe on his top on the car. A definite get!

So what's the name of the white jet up top? Or the Decepticon
plane (It's robot mode) I need to know because it has to go on the list. And I'm not allowed in that section of the store after Memorial Day so I can't even try to browse for them.

Way too many repaints. It's nice to see a set of all the bikes from TF2, but i would like to see them all Scout sized so they are in scale with the rest of the line. So far they have either been too big, too small or the wrong colour. Jeez.
Hailstorm looks great definately getting him.

TerraDive looks fantastic, the Plane and Chopper however, their faces aren't movie enough for me, maybe if I have an appropriate head switch or something...
So I guess out of the new ones, I'll be getting TerraDive and HailStorm.

The Tail-Spin / Crimson Skies look on Highbrow is interesting, but given a choice I would have rather had a more realistic representation of the P-38 Lightning.
Also, it seems pretty clear that this is an homage to the Gobots's Guardian Bolt, rather than to G1 Highbrow. The colors and the alt mode loosly match Bolt's toy, and the face kind of vaguely reminds me of his animation model, whereas he bares no similarity to his namesake, outside of having two props.

Looks like they're starting to deliver what we want!
As someone who is fond of film-accuracy and who doesn't yet have Red Rampage and a Ravage, would it be a good idea to get the 'Rampage Among the Ruins' set...(Or stick to my 'Sea Attack Ravage' and Takara 'Desert Combat Rampage' plan...?)

Just noticed that Tomahawk's spring-firing missile launchers have folding clips on them which aren't used to attach the launchers to his vehicle or robot mode. I'm thinking it's storage for the missiles, so they can be kept under the sponson wings without having to keep the spring launchers cocked.
Which is kind of neat.
Edit:
Are Terradive and Sunspot supposed to match?
Guessing Terradive will be remolded as Ramjet, since we already got Thrust and Dirge as ROTF deluxes.

Finally! A Fallen with a proper head, proper articulating hands, a WEAPON, and a color scheme that doesn't suck! I will buy that and throw my other one into the vacuous depths of my storage closet.
I notice that more and more of the new bots and cons are actually coming with guns and other assorted weapons, which leads me to believe that someone is actually listening at Hasbro's helm now.

I thought that was just a repaint, but they did remold the head and hands, and gave him the staff. The original mold is a huge failure, but I might get that one on clearance.

Great looking group of figures. Blurr looks cool enough to warrant a second purchase of the mold. The Fallen looks WAY better than the original one. Axor and Dlx Rescue Ratchet look really good as well.
Tomahawk, Terradive and Highbrow all look awesome, with cool weapons and great head molds. Highbrow's head in particular is great cause it looks like he's smiling cause he thinks he's better than you.

I think I may be skipping PCC so I can collect Generations & HFTD.

There's rumor that the Fallen's face is removable..... if that's true I'm SO getting him, regardless of having the same basic mold.
He doesn't seem to have the head-flames/solar panels, instead a lighter-colored neck, and his crown has an apparent joint and split. But I may be looking far to into it.

A very
alternate history version of the P-38 Lightning, what with the stubby, nonfunctional wings, the oversized weapons, the pushed back cockpit, the Star-Trek-style dish array on what passes for the nose, and the generally cartoonish proportions. Really doesn't fit with the rest of the movie toys. Although to be fair I guess Mindwipe's Altmode isn't exactly accurate either.
