While Generations Wave 3 has been released in various places across the world, we haven't seen the biographies of both Cybertronian Soundwave and Red Alert until now. Thanks to site sponsor RobotKingdom, who also has the wave in stock, check the biographies out below!
Cybertronian Soundwave
Soundwave is one of the most sophisticated electronics and communications experts on Cybertron. His body is heavily armored and shielded to protect the sensitive communications gear hidden within, where he stores every byte of information he collects. He is a living storehouse of secrets. No one trusts him, but everyone understands that the data he holds could destroy them all.
Red Alert
As security director for the Autobots, Red Alert tries to keep his eye on everyone and everything. All the time. He installs hidden cameras and security sensors everywhere, and keeps detailed records of the known movements of enemies and allies alike. Nothing escapes his attention and - to him - everything is significant. His paranoia keeps him constantly on edge, but it`s paid off more than once by stopping Decepticon plots before they did any damage.

I doubt it, the area inside the chest is only big enough to hold the weapons. I do wish Hasbro would stop using the heavily photoshopped images on the back of the pack. Anyone can see the toy inside will look nothing like that without customising it yourself.

Regarding these two figures, I've been waiting for them ever since the first pics came out.

Is that really so much of a surprise when considering all movie Ironhide figures to come out have a fireblast of 6? just ignore tech specs, they never make sense

I may buy Soundwave, but I will pass on the other 3 Cybertronian figures. Im waiting for Dirge. Wish we could get a classics soundwave without the pointy shoulders.

First it was a combination of Hoist and Ratchet, then came First Aid in Season 3. Red Alert's original Diaclone toy was a police car, which may explain his security function, despite him being a fire chief car.
Nice to give his paranoia a mention, now he'll think everyone's out to get him since they all know.

I'm still on the fence about Red Alert. He looks good, but I already have three versions of this mold. Is he worth another?

I highly doubt it. It might be possible to get it close to that form...I use that term loosely. I'm happy with just the truck if you ask me...seems more practical, especially if Rumble, Frenzy, etc. are not going to be made for him.
