Shadow Command Megatron
Landing thunderously among his assembled warriors, Megatron strikes the ground hard enough to shatter stone, calling his army to order. He has come here to renew his purpose, and reclaim his right to lead the Decepticon army. For too long the Decepticons have been scattered, either fighting as individuals or cowering in hiding. It is time that they all remembered that the word of Megatron is absolute, and no desire exceeds his well.
Strike Mission Sideswipe
Sideswipe is used to working alone, but he's enough of a team player to recognize that younger Autobots can benefit from his experience. What Mudflap thinks is a simple race is actually a training exercise. Sideswipe intends to put the young warrior through his paces, teaching him everything there is to know about offensive driving.
The two figures are set to be released when Hasbro kicks off their N.E.S.T. Global Alliance toy line. They are also up for pre-order at site sponsor BigBadToyStore. Megatron is available separately or with Leader Optimus Prime. Sideswipe is avaliable for pre-order with the three new deluxe molds in Deluxe 2010 Wave 2.

Megatron at least looks good in black .... shame I still can't bring myself to actually getting the Leader version. But it looks nicer at least.

Sadly that's just how it is these days. This is Megatron and Sideswipe version 2.0, not a brand new character. Hey, be glad we atleast have Tech Specs. Animated totally k-o'd that in their packaging.

True, but even "new" characters like Dirge suffer this. Besides, it's not like we know what Sideswipe's personality (besides "doesn't like Decepticons") really consists of.Blurrz wrote:Diem wrote:On a remotely connected note, I dislike that Bayformer bios are always written not as a description of the character's personality and abilities, but as a description of current events. I'm fine with not having the numbers, but I miss the Budiansky days when everyone has 2-dimensional personalities instead of 1-dimensional personalities. At least Animated's "Galactic Abilities" add character and humour to the toys.

Did any one notice the N.E.S.T. sticker on Sideswipe's instructions in side the packaging? Looks like that's for the Mail-in Ravage figure. Great idea to prevent scalpers or getting scalped... Just check if your figure has its instructions!
