Ravage is on top of him in vehicle mode. Ravage is not seen when he's in robot mode. Hound seems to be about to puke with a fat face. Hmm, was Ravage eaten by him?
Anyway, I think Hound looks awesome.

While the next few months aren't going to see me grabbing a whole lot of figures January should be epic.

Yeah, Hound looks pretty chubby from that angle.

That's cool . Though I won't be buying any figure from the Universe line... no money and space for everything and I already have 2 Classics.
The ones I really collect are G1s, Masterpieces and Movie Trans Scanning (thank God they're only 2... but they could do Starscream as well), and Mashin Eiyuden Wataru figures. There's so many awesome figures and lines that if I bought everything I couldn't enter my room and couldn't eat .

P.S. Am I the only one excited about Inferno? He was my very first Transformer when I was a kid!

I really don't like how many of the Henkei releases have randomly placed chrome, a lot of them look as though it was an afterthought, incl. 'screamer. For just $13 I think I may pick this one up.
capellamusic wrote:Anyway, why does Hound come with Ravage
It could be a reference to the episode of the cartoon where they capture Ravage, then feed him false information to trick the Decepticons. More Than Meets The Eye Part 2, I think.
Is Inferno a repaint? I swear he looks like an Energon figure my brother had. His fire engine graphics look really sharp, something about him looks MUCH better than any other fire engine toy I've ever seen, attention to detail maybe?

Because not everyone has him already. Why don't people ask this when another G1 Prime reissue gets thrown out? It's the same thing: it gives people who don't already have the figure another chance to buy it.JaZzTaStIc wrote:i wonder why the bothered to put him a line hes already been in.

You're thinking of Energon Inferno and they are similar in design, but definately different toys.
So, not a repaint.

I notice some of you bringing up the pre-orders on the Animated figures in this topic. There is a thread specifically for them here

Thanks for the come response to that. I was going to rip him apart... but yeah, I guess not.
I just can't stand the whole "why is he in there" whole deal. Starscream was limited as hell, I never even saw it on the shelf with it's release, and it's freaking expensive as hell on Ebay now.
So this 2nd repaint.. and somewhat retool is a blessing.

I'm pretty excited about Inferno too.

But are these gonna be $13 like someone said above?? That would be a bummer.

Yeah, I think he is the best mold of them all. Def. one of the best Universe/Classics molds IMO. Cant wait for that

For me, it actually looks better without the chrome.

If it makes you feel any better, my first reponse was to scream at the sky, then type out something very rude about people who complain about reissues and repaints. I really don't get the problem. You don't like it, don't buy it. Problem solved.

Hound looks great, my only problem is the shade of green; it should be darker. I can hear the kids now: "Look! A new Ratchet!"
Definite buy.
Inferno looks good, too. Unfortunately, I think it looks more like Energon Inferno, rather than G1. He should have a ladder or at least a bigger cannon. The one in the photo looks very out of scale with the truck. I would have liked a backpack of some sort, to look more like G1 Inferno. But overall, pretty good.
Probable buy.
Cyclonus is amazingly G1 style, IMO, especially in alt mode. Only problem is his thighs look too thin.
Definite buy.
Starscream: I hope this is in fact the Henkei repaint, rather than a straight reissue. Either way, it's good for those who missed the first release.
Pass, since I have the first one.
(Will we get a Classics Thundercracker in the Universe line? Please?)
Vector Prime: These colors just don't work for me. I like my Cybertron VP just fine.
Pass.
Bruticus: the colors look good, but never really liked that mold.
Pass.
Cheetor: I would have liked a new Cheetor figure. This isn't Cheetor. It looks horrible. The first Cheetor figure from the 90's looks better than this.
Definite PASS!
I would love to see an all new Tigatron in the Universe line, as long as it is a new, good mold. In other words, better than this Cheetor, and for sure NOT a repaint of this Cheetor.
Hmm, 3 or 4 buys out of seven, not too bad, Hasbro!
As for the price, I've noticed Hasbro's Marvel Legends are now 14.99 at Target. Not good. Not good at all. I'm afraid if this price increase includes Transformers, I will have to limit myself to buying characters/figures that I just GOTTA have, rather than every one that grabs my attention.
Therefore, just X-Men and TF Classics 2.0 characters for me, from now on.

Dude, Henkei Thundercracker just came out. I suggest you go hunt him down now!

I can't afford the $75 price on the Henkei, especially since I have City Commander on preorder. I want to see Thundercracker on retailer shelves in the Universe line, for those of us who could not afford these ridiculously priced exclusives.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up!
