If you´re anything like me, you check your local retailers for new Transformers fairly often. Well, if you´re like me, you check REALLY often, but that´s beside the point. Chances are good that you´ve spotted Powerlinx Optimus Prime and/or the various Unicron Battles Mini-Cons at Wal-Mart. If you´re a fan/collector, then that´s great news. However, if you´re an Ebay seller looking to make a profit on these (arguably) desirable figures, you may have a problem. You see, it´s rumored that their release was an accident. They were not supposed to hit stores until July (after OTFCC). If you put these up for auction on Ebay, there´s a small but definate chance that Hasbro may nail you for selling unreleased prototypes. This would cause your auction to be pulled. If you´re dead set on selling these on Ebay before their REAL release date, there is one very important thing you can do to protect yourself. Save your receipt. In fact, it may be a good idea to scan it and post it along with your auction. After all, it´s not a stolen prototype if you bought it at Wal-Mart!
