thanks "news crew guys", I saw the link on the seibertron.con news page & I odered one amazon unicron for myself.

I read from fellow internet TF fans that amazon offered free shipping with orders over $25. While I was doing the 4+ ordering step process I got a bit worried that I had to pay shipping fees. then I saw a few options like If I sign up for amazon prime I get free 2 day shipping. luckily their was another free shipping if I was willing to wait 8+ days for my order to ship. needless to say i'm a very patient person.so I opted not to sign up for the amazon prime trail offering thing. I chose the free shipping Option that had the 8+days slower shipping.

FWIW,I think it Amazon Unicron already sold out. I emailed a friend of mine a few minutes after I ordered mine. my friend told me he was able to get half way thru the ordering process. then a error message showed up & said the item was sold out.

I noticed when I ordered mine,the amazon.com site only allowed buyers to buy 2 amazon unicron's & that's it. I wonder how effective this was against preventing buyers from over odering. I wonder if this also prevented buyers from ordering a second,3rd & so forth time.

I'm just curious was this limit of only 2 quanity per person on the amazon.com site,unicron ordering page weeks/month ago? or is this the first time today amazon.com put a 2 quanity limit per order/person for amazon unicron?

And a big thanks to Seibertron for updating this thread. I might not have checked Amazon today if it wasn't for that. I was actually online when the first stock of it was released, but I didn't have the cash for it at that point. I wasn't expecting the figure to be released until October, and I can't save a penny. -.- Fortunately, I managed to scrape together the cash for it this time around. I was a little afraid it might sell out again since I can't order anything myself off the internet because I'm under 18.

Still, I'm looking forward to getting this guy in the mail a few days from now. I might have to get a bigger bookshelf to keep him on. o.O

My friend got a error mesaage that said it was sold out. my friend asked me to try it for him & I also got a error message when I clicked on my address confirm button half way thru.

Got free 2-day shipping thanks to my wife's Amazon Plus/Student account, so it'll be here Wednesday.

About two or three days, yes. Still, that's much longer than the last two times (some few hours each).

I received my Unicron today! this thing is huge!!! but i noticed a little dent (thumb length dent at the top of the box... i'm a MISB collector, anyone else have a similar issue??? any idea if this will devalue the toy later on????

i ordered 2 and they have like a hazing goin down the front in the same way on both,a factory thing as i believe many were lined up and rubbed creating this haze,its very minor as it still looks flawless,other than that no problem.as for the devalue i doubt it.in the after-market with the right person,you could make a profit.its not impossible.but then i find it harder to just let it go to begin with.

Getting mine in the mail. Should be here by the September 26th. Already got the Armada version so this will be a cool addition to my collection.

I got 2 amazon unicron's in the mail today.

For a item labeled a collectors item. Hasbro threw this thing in the a flimsy thin plastic case with cheap inner card board art. basically similar in fashion to hasbro TRU MP Rodimus Prime.

Needless to say the cheap flimsy thin plastic box & cheap inner card board on both TRU Rodimus & Amazon unicron make getting a perfect flawless C-10 Box nearly impossible.

one of the amazon unicron arrived in a plastic box that the tape came off on the top & bottom.

so is this hasbro saving money or is this hasbro trying to defeat the MISB collectors fans & secondary buyers market.

Either way if your gonna make something for the fans & label it a collectors item. THEN PLEASE create a stronger package that holds up to shelf wear & the shipping process from over seas.

It looks like Takara gets more points here for using stronger package material for the Transformers items they label as collectors items & catered towards the fans.

Still in Stock as of 8:15 Eastern time 9/26! I got mine last week. My box arrived in FLAWLESS condition, I was very happy as I'm not sure I'm gonna open him up. I was able to get my order in the second time they showed up in stock. Thanks for the heads up!

Ive ordered mine. I cant believe that its being imported for £60 inc shipping! Thats about what we pay for Hasbro Masterpiece figures in the UK. Cant wait. Already have the Armada version so I dont know what I will do that.

Got my notification that Canada Post had stopped by while I was out and left mine at the local office branch.

Anyway, I love it..!

Still waiting for a decent deal on this figure. Amazon is out but of course the resellers are running rampant.

Related, but somewhat off-topic... I'm surprised we haven't seen any posts of people complaining about the quality of having items shipped from Amazon.com. Twice now I've received carded Transformers from the Amazon wharehouse where they bent the card over to squeeze the toy into a tiny little box. It makes me very reluctant to order more TFs from them.

hasbro messes up a lot with shipping too, esp. Star wars figs. Just for fun here's an example (probably USPS's fault though)



The first shipments of the rocket firing Boba Fett's came out horribly too - very thin boxes. They started to double box after everyone's fetts were mangled

Oh yes, the Fett Fiasco! Many suffered due to the stupidity.

A strange thing happened tonight. On one of my random checks on the Unicron page at Amazon, it showed as IN STOCK and only ONE left!

I ordered that sucker.

With buying from individual sellers you still pay separate shipping. Usually the shipping costs don't show up right away as the seller has to calculate that after they get your order.

Also I am a Prime member so I don't pay anything for shipping from Amazon. Just the once a year fee for that membership. Totally worth it if you buy a lot from there like I do.

As for the packaging...my Unicron came packed nicely in a much bigger box all by his lonesome. His plastic box came out perfectly fine.

Hasbro toy shop.com Bent my Generations dirge blister card in half in order to squeeze the toy into a super tiny square box. Luckily I was able to find another generations dirge in stores in perfect collectors condition,then buy it,then return the one Hasbro sent me to the retail store.

I'm sure Hasbro's CS would've sent you another Dirge if you asked them. You probably would have to send the other one back, but I'm sure they would've done that for you.

They did use terribly thin cardboard for the first wave of Fetts though. They might as well used balsa wood at the rate they were goin

Who's to say I do this HTS.COM dirge return. then another hasbro employee bends another dirge in half. no thanks.

i highly doubt that same mistake would be committed twice. Just throwin out the option, besides getting your $ back. Maybe they figured u wanted an opener? Lol!
