Via several posts over on Australian fansite Ozformers, we have a number of toy sales from retailers in the country, spanning across various Transformers toylines and stores! Most of the posts below have been made or re-edited by griffin and user BruiseLee, and we've mirrored them (with credit) below for Australian fans in the Seibertron.com community. Happy hunting!

Myer 20% off full priced toys till Sunday 8th Oct
Transformers News: Australian Transformers Toy Sales Round-Up: Target, Toys'R'Us, Myer

Toys'R'Us AU - Sale until October 10th
I was at ToysRUs today and saw that they had a few items on sale, and checked out their website for the current catalogue... it's only three Transformers items though (on page 14).

Allspark Tech - $30 (save $5)
Allspark Tech starter pack - $60 (save $10)
Leader - $80 (save $10) (the current Kmart sale has them for $65, so it is best to get TRU to price match that lower price on the Kmart website)

Transformers News: Australian Transformers Toy Sales Round-Up: Target, Toys'R'Us, Myer

Also, the website notes that they currently have 25% off their clearance items, so if your store has any older Transformers items with clearance tags, you can get an extra 25% off the price (probably some conditions on the website).

Target AU - Sale until October 11
The current Target toy sale catalogue has four Transformers items on sale, and it ends October 11th.

RID Warriors - $24 (save $5)
RID 3-step - $34 (save $5)
TF5 Deluxe - $29 (save $5)
TF5 1-step - $15 (save $4)

The catalogue is here, and the Transformers items are on page 9.

Target (US) has a toy sale. $10 off $50 or $25 off $100. I used it to finally jump on the Metal Defender set, which I believe is a Target exclusive. Regular price is $70. They have it discounted to $65, so $55 after stacking with this current sale, before tax of course. For reference, the individual figures are about $15, so $75 if all bought separately. A decent deal IMO.

We have news that Target in the U.S. is running a toy sale. Using their Cartwheel app, the coupons (shown below) will give you $10 off a $50 purchase or more, or $25 off a $100 purchase. Additionally, this sale is available online at Target.com (where the discount will automatically be applied once qualifying items are in your cart), and there are even coupons available in the circular advertisements available with most Sunday edition newspapers or direct mail.

One other sale of note is a Cartwheel coupon that offers a $5 Target gift card if you purchase $30 or more from their Halloween shop (also pictured below). So dress your kids up like Hot Rod, Bumblebee or Optimus, and hey- free $5 gift card.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronians nycPrime and Emerje for the heads up!

This would be great if they ever had anything good in stock at the dotcom. Or rather, anything I actually want. I found some stuff but nothing worth putting an actual order in for to take advantage of the sales. I feel that I'd just be better off waiting and I'll get it all for cheaper soon enough.

Just took a look at target.com and I'm impressed to see all the OLD Generations figures still being sold there. Combiner Wars deluxes sell for some stupid amount on Ebay but at Target, many are still there at the regular price. Moreover, they still have Roadbuster, Rhinox, and the likes!

Even Canadians who missed out on these Generations figures can find a deal. ;)^

LoL it's the worst. Unless they recently fixed it, you weren't even able to sort by online availability. And i know brick and mortar store availability is generally a useless feature for most stores, it's probably the worst at Target.

Maybe the taxes are included. in that case, it's just the regular price. But if the taxes are NOT included, hello, drugstore type mark-up!

Our very own Emerje has let us know that Transformers: The Last Knight Cybertron figure has been marked down to $109.19 which is a huge savings. This figure is exclusive to ToysRUs and also stands 11 inches tall. So far we know the sale is available online, but this toy is sold in store so it may be a good idea to check.

If you find any good sales or deals, be sure to let us know!

While it's a huge markdown from the $150 retail price, I still can't see this as a "deal." $50-$75, sure... but $100? Eeeh... I dunno.

What about the rest of you? Is G2 Primus worth the dough?

Somebody else notified us of the online sale price about a week ago in the forums (D=Max Prime possibly?).

I know because I jumped on it once I saw the price. You can order it from TRU.com with free shipping, or in store pickup. Or, you can just go to the store and price match TRU.com.

I missed out on the planet formers during the previous releases, so $109 was a good enough price for me. I love the mold and I like the G2 paint job better than the previous releases.

I mainly bought it for the attack/defense modes to add to my Titans Return mega city, but really like the mold overall.

I've been watching this TRU sale for a few weeks. Still haven't pulled the trigger. :(

Black Bumblebee wrote:What about the rest of you? Is G2 Primus worth the dough?

Depends on how much you like it. I'm a huge Cybertron fan, Primus is one of my all time favorite figures & I absolutely LOVE the new colors. So.......uh.......well? I dunno. Really want the figure but don't want to pay that much. At least not now. I have a feeling I can get it even cheaper if I wait it out. These will not sell just like that Cybertron supreme Starscream G1 repaint didn't. They couldn't move that thing & Primus isn't moving at my local TRU either.

Yep, I picked up Cybertron about a week ago at that price. I saw it 2 weeks ago but didn't want to online order, but I saw it in stores and price matched, so it was worth that short wait.

And the mold is definitely worth it. Cybertron is honestly nearly as heavy as Metroplex and Fort Max despite being only half the height, mainly because the plastic is very dense on him and he is very bulky, unlike the city guys. The paint is premium and I love having a planet. You should pick him up

Yep! Go back 4-5 years and I recall losing auctions for it where I bid $150. Finally grabbed it at TFcon 2014 for $80 or $90 and was thrilled. $50 is a "clearing space and taking the loss" price, or at least it seems that way.

The price of a few years back is irrelevant. Prices go up and down depending on demand and offer. When everyone go crazy for a figure, the price go up. When people don't care anymore, the price go down. Best example is Leader ROTF Megatron. In the DOTM days, when people were coitus-interuptus from a leader Megs, people flocked to the ROTF one. Seeing a ROTF leader selling for 200$+ even loose was not rare. Around 2 years ago, I had a spare one that I Ebay'd for 90$. And my last one, I threw-up at my local geek store for 30$ in store credits.

Regardless, the main value of a thing is in the eye of the beholder.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Several fans had found the original $79.99 price tag for the the Optimus Prime Voice Changer Helmet a bit hefty. For all those fans, we have some fun news thanks to cdavid3 who reached out to us with a sighting from Milpitas, CA. There, at a local Ross, he found this helmet for only $29.99, a %62.5 reduction from the original price. Would any of you buy it at that price? Let us know!

I WOULD!

Cos I like this design so much more than the old 2007 helmet I have, but the AoE electronic mask version doesn't fit as it's more of a child size so yes I would sell off the 2007 one and have this TLK one instead. I sometimes PS4 stream TF games like Devastation and Dark Spark while wearing the Prime helmet cos I'm a bit shy.

So yes if I can find a similar price reduction in the UK I would very much like this helmet on my shelf and occassionall worn on my noggin... meaning head.

M'eh - I got the ROTF version for $19 at Ross some time ago. As far as I can tell, the 'new' one uses the exact save voice chip with the same SFX and phrases. Only thing different is the molding.

Fellow Seibertron.com News staffer Bounti76 has sent us notification of a sale taking place in Target stores, or at least, at the one Target store he visited: 25% off! The sale is actually set up as a coupon exchange, and you'll have to text 'TOY' to TARGET / 827438 to receive it. While not Transformers specific, the message was pinned in the Transformers section and applies to most toylines, though one item only, and Target still allegedly has the exclusive The Last Knight Autobots Unite sub-line in stock. Check out the image below, and let us know if you're successful in using it!

Found this at a Target in Centerville, UT. Not specifically for Transformer toys, but it works for them and was posted right next to their section.

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian cdavid3, we have news that the Transformers Movie Anniversary Edition Optimus Prime, the Amazon exclusive figure, is on sale right now for $65.91, which is $14, or about 18%, cheaper than the original price. The figure is a repaint of the original 2007 leader class figure, using the original blaster with launching projectile. The figure features some new chromed parts and lights and sounds. It is also available for free shipping.

Is this figure still worth anything to you? Is this mold worth getting again? Let us know what you think of the new price in the comments section below, and you can comment on the figure over in our Transformers Tribute line thread! The 2007 Optimus leader is an AMAZING toy. However, there's WAY cheaper options than this repaint. Mainly the original release or even the vastly superior Premium edition.

Any fan of good transformers toys who have some spare change should have/get the mold (any editions) to try it out.

We have had several reports of this and now that Canada has joined in, it seems like a big chunk of North American Walmarts have rolled back their prices for several Transformers items.

In the US, it seems it is mainly with the Robots in Disguise line with reports of Warrior class toys being found for $9 USD.

Canada has had a more sweeping rollback with the movie toys being reduced to better reflect their prices in the US market. So leaders going from $69.97 to $54.86 ($42.74 USD), voyagers going from $39.99 to $29.86 ($23.26 USD), and deluxes going from $29.99 to $22.86 ($17.81 USD).

The most Combiner Wars Boxsets have lowered to $109.97 CAD while the exclusive Platinum Autobots set has decreased by $50, making it $149.97 CAD.

Finally, the deluxes and voyagers from Titans Return have lowered to $14.92 and $22.97 CAD respectively.

We must remember that all these prices being lowered coincide with each of these lines ending and thus will most probably not reflect what the prices of the upcoming new lines will be.

Look like the usual sales for Walmart. Nothing TrU ever did. In fact, Transformers have been on sale WAY more often at TrU than Walmart. Well, maybe THIS time I'll finally get Steelbane before missing out. I even have a whole bottle of Pledge Floor Finish at the ready. I don't think I'll ever see movie deluxes on sale at 10$ anyway. So might as well buy now.
