The artwork was said to be Shockwave's notes on the Predacon project and it looked like your usual Hasbro fare, with Autobot symbols adoring the pages. However, it turned out to be some rather high quality art and the artist has finally been revealed.
John Forcucci has posted a page on his blog, showing off his original works plus the finished Hasbro product, and it's an impressive mini gallery of fine work.
Also of note, you'll see that the Skystalker/Skylynx mold was originally going to be named Stormrazor! The mini gallery contains line drawings of Predaking, Twinstrike, Hun-Grr, Blight, "Stormrazor", Grim Wing, Windrazor and Rippersnapper.
We've mirrored the images below, but please give Mr. Forcucci's site a visit, take a look at some of his other works.

That is what I was thinking, maybe a early design. Also thinking that this is where the tail design for the toy came from.

Predaking. Looks like it's based off of a prototype or something. You can see it in the beast head and the tail section. Looks like a mix between the animation model and the Supreme Class one at Target.
Plus the image is labeled as Predaking on the blog.

True. But I can live with them being cyberverse. Gives the predacons a lolly pop guild.

Don't get me started on those upsized legions, man.

For now they're in release limbo however...

Picked mine up back in December. He's AAWESOME!
I like him w/ the armor on though. He looks more menacing that way.
@MINDVVIPE, I had a feeling you meant proper deluxes and not upscaled cyberverse. Those would've been cool.
Also, Stormrazor?
