The figure is a blue dinosaur, a repaint from a Deluxe class Cybertron Beast Wars Megatron figure. No identity has been given to this figure, but it can be assumed that this figure is paying homage to G2 Grimlock.
You can check out the original auction here.

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:"Possibly" a repaint of possibly a repaint from a Deluxe class Beast Megatron figure? It most certainly is that. To be exact it's the deluxe Beast Wars 10th Anniversary figure, which was repainted for Cybertron.
I must say the colors surprise me, especially the blue.
Yeah, not what I expected. But I'll take it. It matches up with the set though. Just not the original namesake of the character.
*nevermind* rather make em guess.

Speakin of Cryoteck, I'd sure love it if the club gave us him using that Energon Shockblast mold. That would definitely go well as a club toy. Works better then Hasbro's Sixshot IMO.

Agreed. With a little Chro done out of Energon Divebomb.

Close enough, though the colors are reversed.

But isn't he pink?
I dunno, not really feeling this one. I kind of hate that mold.

Again, another mold that, IMO, needs to be used. I love my regular Divebomb and the ShadowHawk one too. Great alt modes and incredibly articulated bot mode. I need moar meow!!

Here's what comes up when you search for "blue beasts" at TFU.com:
http://www.tfu.info/ID/bluebeasts.htm
The only other figures that even come close to resembling this blue T-Rex mold are:
Deathsaurus (a dragon),
Landsaur (from Magmatron),
the McDonald's Dinobot from '88,
Cryotek (a dragon), and
Hasbro Go-Bots Beast Bot
Considering the THEME of BotBon '10 is G2, isn't G2 Grimlock (a blue T-Rex) the obvious choice?

Or maybe it's a lost child? I'm curious why there are only two Sparkabots and Firecons in G2. I won't accept anything technorganic as Grimlock.

It's not Grimlock.

Irrelevant to this topic, but in IDW's continuity Grimlock gains his T-rex alt mode by technoorganic means. He didn't become a purely robotic dino until Shockwave blasted off all his organic flesh.

This year's botcon set is going for some big sized TFs. Makes me regret not having money to get a set. Never had money to get any of the Botcon figures.

It's actually the deluxe-sized Cybertron Megatron
I'm hoping for a new headmold.

Ah! Ok then. Got confused on the amalgamated name. Good deal either way.

The Scorponok is Double Punch, and you're forgetting Slicer, the E-Downshift repaint. He's the rumored Freebie. And stop it with the Grimlock already, it's not him, trust me.

Flux Convoy wrote:Hehe. So why is no one talking about SG Ravage and the Classics Hound repaint? Just curious. I didn't notice a thread for them here. I'm fairly certain they'd have to be Botcon exclusives as well. Which basically means we've got a literal barrage of toys this year.
It's overshadowed by the "who is the blue dino" mystery (he's not Grimlock, what would he do with a Megatron body anyway!). The identities of the rest have already been established, or have well supported guesses. This Dino appeared out of the blue, pardon the pun, with no possible clue.
Him being a G2 Firecon which never saw release is probable, the buckethead is similar to the Firecons', and one member was a dragon/dino (albeit a horned one).

5 figure boxed set includes:
Spark
Clench
Breakdown
Sky-Byte
and Streetstar
There's at least 2 add on sets which could be any combination of:
Scorch w/SG Ravage
Double Punch
Rapido
and "Cindersaur"
Which raises the question, if the Sharkticon isn't the freebie and is indeed a 3 pack like we've all been told, then who is the single freebie? See we're still down one deluxe at least by my count. Is there a figure I'm forgetting? All you peeps with sources can chime in at any time.

Why is everyone forgetting the E-Downshift repaint? As Slicer? He's the rumored freebie. It's also possible he's SG Wheeljack, since they share colors (and Wheeljack uses the Energon body in fiction),

Well, the symbol will make all the difference, right? Either way it'll be purple
