Sorry for the triple posts. A tree just took down my cable lines and I'm using a fussy wireless card, it's very sensative and has a tendancy of doing stuff like this.

Not really, considering that the spoiler would be what the cables reference in the show's storyline.

IIRC he is decapitated and his head is captured by a human.

in an earlier topic we noted he has a very similar design to Super Megatron who was a revived G1 Megs.

That head, or what we can see of it anyway, looks pretty cool. It does kinda come off (to me, and i know i'm odd) as the illegitimate lovechild of BM Megatron and Skeletor.

So what's the deal with the cables?
Maybe Megs is sending out subliminal messages via television and/or the internet. Maybe he's in your mind right now.

I'm the one who leaked the image over at the TF World 2005 boards...a couple of corrections.

The correct image only shows one side of Meg's face...the one with both sides is a fan made mirror effect blah blah.

The other side of Meg's face is battle damaged, and he has a cyborgish eye.

Megatron battles the Autobots onboard their ship on the first episode, is thrown out of the ship and crashes on Earth in the scientist character's back yard when he's a little boy. 50 years later, the scientist is grown up, and Meg's head is in his lab, hooked up to machines ect. Meg's gives him orders, and together they build the Dinobots.

Could they be taking a leaf out of Beast Machines book?

Nice and evil looking face though, much better than the Movie version face I thought we were meant to be getting.

At BotCon they said that they wanted Animated to come out around the same time as the movie DVD. They kept saying December and then saying January. The DVD comes out in a month. Anyone know the premiere date for Animated?

Nothing formal, there was a rumour of January 1st, but there was absolutely no proof or anything of it.

Personally I think we wont see it this year.

Then why even premote the toys? I'm going to say Late November to late December.

Why not? it is their next big line. Botcon was held a few months earlier than usual this year too.

We haven't seen any figures with anything resembling their final paint jobs and what not yet, so we could be even longer than the beginning of next year away.

I guess the biggest indicator will be the Allspark line of movie figures, if they are all rushed out in October then we could see the Animated series in December.
