I really can't wait to get three of these! One for display (keeping the joints tight), one for a repaint into Gene Simmons , an another for play so I don't have to worry about the joints getting loose & him not standing up for display! I love the look of this guy!

I can't wait for this figure, and for that matter all of the animated line! The more I see them and more I like them.

Looks bloody awesome, it's about time Transformers got back on track.

This is the one toy that I want out of the "Animated" line. None of the others have really struck me. I'm just not big on the Bruce Timm-style of art. It makes me think of the Teen Titans cartoon, only worse, as I feel Transformers shouldn't look like this. Too kiddy. I mean Bumblebee looks like an 8 year old!

But, then again, this line of toys is for kids.

I'm holding out for Blitzwing and the Dinobots. Hopefully, they and Megatron can salvage the line with intimidation.

Still, I'm getting Lockdown. Love bounty hunters, and love his look.

This is probably the only one of these so far that I'm interested in!

I'm starting to dig these designs.

Plus, Lockdown just may make for a decent Death's Head after a repaint and adding a few more weapons...kitbash idea or future BotCon exclusive?

I'd like this figure if A, he didn't look so flimsy, and B if they make him with his profile in mind and he is actualy upgradable.

Since I know B isn't going to happen, I petition that TransTech ShockWave get his alt mode back

Perhaps I judged the animated line too soon. This guy looks wicked, I love it.

Is this the only toy not suffering from Jay Leno syndrome? It's got to be the only good toy in the line (with the possible exception of Bee, but that's yet to be seen).

I like the car mode but are all these robot modes gonna look

Not my kind of Transformer. The series may be good, but I'm not getting the toys.

Hmm... I guess the only thing I don't really like about him are the joints on his arms. Doesn't seem like a lot of possibility is possible with those.

I kinda like Trapjaw. I mean, Lockdown.

Hooray for new characters! I know Animated will be full of G1 crap like every other series, but if we can get at least a few new characters out of it, it'll be worth it.

Is it the Animated Nostalgia that is making you guys crazy about this Decepticon? Because in my eyes, this figure looks like garbage.

I know its a little early to start saying that Lockdown sucks, but in my opinion, there has to be a way better Decepticons in the Animated line-up(although Megatron and Starscream aren't exactly straying away from Lockdown's suckage).

Yes.. hate me all you want, but it was a horrible idea putting Transformers into 'Cartoon Network' style and then of course making figures out of this garbagedump.

Bleh, just give me Animated Blurr already, and then i'll gladly lock up my opinions of the Animated series.

I own one of these, and it is fantastic. Easily one of the best Deluxe Transformers ever made. It's especially neat how his vehicle mode is the size of a regular deluxe, but his 'bot mode is taller than Movie Voyager Starscream. And as for the "cartoony" look, it gives Lockdown personality, something you won't find in many other Transformers figures.

This'll be a very popular toy. Vehicle mode is fantastic, and while I'm disappointed with bot mode's proportions, he's still pretty cool and definitely a must-have.

Oh man, I just realized what he reminds me of. He's a bounty hunter with no real loyalties and a hook on his right wrist. He's the Main Man himself, Lobo! That explains why I want to paint him black & white!

dude, this guy is gonna be badass!..... I've been gone for almost a month from this site, just wondering, when is the animated line coming out? spring 08 or fall 08? I heard that there might be a delay from spring but that's it.

Interesting how the folks who don't like Animated consider this the best mold, whereas I like everything from Animated, just this one least. I'll get it anyway, though. I hadn't quite realized his height in 'bot mode. That'll be fun to display.

June. They were pushed back from February.

He is right tho, the phrase is "Couldn't care less' and is often changed (mostly by Americans) to the erroneous phrase 'could care less'. I wouldn't accuse all Americans of being stupid, or butchering the English laguage but in this particular example the American way just doesn't make any sense in the context it is used. If Lockdown could care less that that infers he cares a certain amount about Megatrons and his plans, which clearly isn't what the bio is attempting to communicate.

Change of plans. HE is the guy i'm getting. how awesoe he looks! i would've never thought that he actually transforms into that car! and then i find out that it is very simple. ;o can't wait for this one!

He seems to be quite decent, lots of extras, I might pic him up.

not too sure if I'll be getting him, but I'm definitely getting a fair bit of the Animated line. Most looking forward to the Decepticons, actually, especially Starscream, Blackarachnia and Blitzwing. Not to say Lockdown isn't good, but he's making me like this series more and more!
